"Everyone stop fighting," Adrien says. He hates to see the merpeople, his family and the land people, argue so much.   

       "I still can not believe I was born half-human all this time and never knew," Adrien says.

      "Well, that is the reason you can get legs from blowing into a shell."  Uncle Bob and Aunt Lillian say.

      "You know what I hate you!" Adrien yells at his aunt and uncle. He is furious. 

       Adrien's  POV:

       How dare they lie to me, and years later confess they murdered my mom. He is so angry he could just scream, or punch something.

    "Adrien you can not be serious, we are family."  Aunt Bob and Aunt Lillian say.

     "Oh, yeah! Some family you are when you murdered my mother," Adrien says angrily.

      "Plus, by the looks  of it, you tried to  kill my girlfriend!" Adrien says even angrier.

     "She is fully human and can not be trusted."  His aunt and uncle scoff.

        "Look, if you lay even so much as a fin on my sister, I will throw this stick!" Mirelle says angrily.

     "We are not afraid of your stick. It can not hurt us." They brag.

   
  Meanwhile, Marinette's mother and sister, Kagami return home earlier than they had planned.  Sabine discovers Marinette and Mirelle are not home.

   "Marinette is not in her room!" Sabine says.

   "See, I told you!"  Kagami says.

   "Mirelle is not here either, though,"  Sabine remarks.

    "Marinette probably went to the beach again."  Kagami retorts.  She suspects Marinette goes there anyway.

   "Wait a minute, where is Mirelle?" Sabine asks.

   " I have no idea,"  Kagami says.

 Back to the others at the beach," Your girlfriend is toxic, Adrien. Can you not see it?"  His uncle and aunt say.

"She is not,'' Adrien says.

  "She is too, why if we're not for humans everyone would be better off." Uncle Bob says.

     Lillian throws a shell at Marinette to attempt to kill her. She hates her this much.

   "No," Adrien screams.

"You asked for it," Mirelle says and throws the weapons she holds in her hands. 

The merman and mermaid dodge it and it hits an empty place in the sand instead.

    "Just leave Adrien alone!" Marinette says angrily. She caught the shell with her mind, it floats into the air and glows.

   "Let us get out of here!"  They say and swim away fast. They are afraid of Marinette's gift of telekinesis.

  Marinette continues to hold the shell in the air with no hands.

 Adrien's jaw drops because he can not understand it.  "H-How did you do this?" Adrien asks.

"I moved it with my mind, Adrien!" Marinette says.

  "What?  I do not understand, Mari." Adrien says.

"Look, at this guys!" Mirelle says with a huge grin on her face.  She makes some ocean water move and land into a cup, then makes it float into the air.

   "You move stuff with your mind, and she controls water?"  Adrien says.

     "Yes, Adrien!  I have been able to do this since I was little."  Marinette tells him.

     "I just figured out I could do this last week," Mirelle says.

      "I am sorry, but I have to go!" Adrien says. He feels unsure how to respond to the sudden abilities his girlfriend and his sister have now.

      Adrien thinks I have no such gifts.  He does not know it yet because he has not found his yet.  

       "Adrien, wait do not go!" Marinette says. She uses her mind to set down the shell gently on the sand.

      "I am sorry, but I have to go for a swim!" Adrien says. He runs and jumps off the beach's peer area. 

    Once underwater  Adrien swims and enters the underwater cove he found. He hides there to think a  bit about everything he has heard and seen recently.  He needs time alone for a bit.
