"Mirelle, please do not tell Mom or Kagami." Marinette pleads with her sister.

   "Marinette, I will not tell. I am just glad you are happy."  Mirelle says.

     "You are Marinette's sister?" Adrien asks.

     "Yes, well one of them anyway,"  Mirelle says.

      "Sorry, to bother you,''  Mirelle says. She leaves and goes back to Chole's house.

           After she left, Marinette breathes a sigh of relief.  She is still rather embarrassed that Mirelle saw her kissing Adrien. She has no ideas about what to do now.

           "Marinette, just to warn you the other mermaids and mermen are not as friendly towards humans as I am," Adrien says.

      "Adrien, I love you!  No one can ever make me change my mind." Marinette says.

     "I am not sure what happened to my mother," Adrien says.

     "I know she loved my father," Adrien says sadly.

    Adrien's POV:
   He recalls the markings on the rock and begins to suspect he never did know the truth. It makes him upset. He loves Marinette and can not let her just become more marks on a rock or corral.      

      "Oh no!" Adrien says. He worries about Marinette's safety.

        "Marinette, run now!" Adrien yells. He sees his uncle and aunt coming towards the surface.

             Marinette misunderstands and cries.  "You are ashamed of me, is that it?" She asks.

         "No, I just can not let them hurt you," Adrien says.

      "Adrien, what are you talking about my love?" Marinette asks.

        "The other mermaids and mermen want you dead. I can not lose you." Adrien says.

            Marinette's  POV:
Marinette looks at him in surprise. She can not believe the other merpeople can be so cruel. She thinks he makes a big deal out of nothing.

       "Marinette, quick run!" Adrien warns her. He sees someone approach them and about to attack her.

    "Marinette, watch out!" Adrien calls out to her.

    "Leave her alone, I will not let you hurt her!"  Adrien says angrily.

     "Adrien we are your family."  His aunt and uncle say.

   "How could you think we would cause your little human girl trouble?"  They ask him.

   "You have always hated humans ever since they supposedly killed my mother," Adrien says.

         Adrien's aunt and uncle look at one another and agree it is time for a truthful confession.

     "Adrien the truth is we killed your mother!"  His aunt and uncle blurt out as if it is no big deal.

       "We did not know she was pregnant with you at the time." They tell him.

      "What? You betrayed the family.  How could you kill your own flesh and blood?"  Adrien asks.

      "The truth is we are your father's uncle and aunt, not your mother's.  Also, your father was a merman, but your mother was human.  We saw her as  a threat." They say as if that is supposed to make it better.

    "What I was born half-human?"  Adrien ask.

  "Yes, you are a half merman, half-human this comes from the union of a merman and half-human union."  They say.

   "Your father fell in love with a human girl. We raised him all his life since your paternal grandparents were dead due to a tragic accident. We warned him humans were dangerous and he did not listen. He found a special shell and shared it with his lady,"  they say.

   "She could have fins as  long as she was in the water, but on land she was human." They say

    "Over time your mother fell in love with your father and wished to be a mermaid forever. She used a spell to make it happen after her parents attempt to separate them shortly after their wedding.    A few months later we attacked her because we felt like she had to go."  They say with voices void of emotion.

   "She survived the attack but was brutally injured. Your father's fins were damaged when they got stuck under a rock.  Unknown to everyone including us she gave birth to a healthy baby, boy!  She died two months later from her injuries. Your father died of a broken heart a few months after her because he could never get over her death.  We found you with a fish, crab, and starfish who tried to raise you.  We took over from there and raised you as our own." They say

    "Adrien, why are you speechless?" His uncle asks.

    "All this time, I thought the humans took my parents from me, but it turns out it was your fault," Adrien says. He sobs.

   Adrien's Uncle Bob and Aunt Lillian, throw a piece of plankton toward Marinette.  

    Marinette uses telekinesis to stop it from harming anyone.  

"How could you do this to him?" Marinette asks angrily. She throws some sand toward the mermaid and merman.  She thinks, they should know not to mess with me.

    "Need some help sis?"  Mirelle asks.

  Mirelle picks up a stick, and attaches a sand dollar to the end of it. She uses the water she controls to attach water droplets to it.
