Marinette thinks, why did he leave? She wonders if he is mad at her.  Then, recalls he is a bit shy. 

     Adrien thinks, why did I fall in love with a human? He wonders how long he can keep his love for her a secret? He is afraid, what if she hates the real him?  He swims over to the rock with his parent's initials on it again.  He thinks I have swum past this rock many times, but this is the first time I have seen the markings on it. He reads the letters, G+E=A.   

"Wow, it is my parent's initials, but how did they get there?" Adrien asks.

    "He thinks, was my mother a mermaid or not?"  He sighs. He knows now he has to tell Marinette the truth even it means he loses her.  He loves her too much to keep the truth from her.

    Marinette thinks, Adrien you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. She blushes and wishes to see him.  She sighs as she thinks, I love him!  She wonders what surprise he could have meant to show her earlier, but did not.

     Two days later, Marinette arrives at the beach. She sees Adrien looks sad. She wonders what is wrong. 
    "Adrien I am here, now what is this all about anyway?" Marinette asks.

    "Marinette you are the best thing that ever happened to me," Adrien says.

    "Awe, that is so sweet of you to say, Adrien!"  Marinette says.

    "You are red again?"  Adrien says. He thinks, does she love me?
    

      Marinette laughs. Adrien says, Marinette the truth is that I..." Adrien begins.

    "I have to show you the real me," Adrien says.

     "What do you mean?"  Marinette asks she looks at him in confusion.

       Adrien sighs, he thinks her goes nothing.  He wishes he could tell her he loves her, but he can not.

    "You do not have to do this," Marinette says. She worries he will dump her.

     "It is ok, I want you to know  I trust you," Adrien says. He steps into the water, pulls out a shell, blows into it, water surrounds him and he returns to his normal form.

    "Tada, this who I am,"  Adrien says.

      Marinette stands their speechless. She thinks, what?  How?  She does not know what to say.
