Under the Ocean...

      The others in the sea look at the footage taken by the underwater cameras are astonished to see the truth.  It seems they all misjudged Adrien and Marinette. 

    "Hmm, the evidence seems to show that Marinette and Adrien are telling the truth!"  A guard to the queen and king blurts out.

      "You mean to say that my nephew and his soon to be bride are not at fault?"  The queen inquires.

   " It means they are not guilty of murder.  See, look closely at the beginning."  Another guard points out.

      The counsel of mermaids and mermen concludes that no deaths are necessary to recompense for Lila's death. 

     Then the members turn to  Adrien's aunt and uncle.  

      A council member yells, "You two are a different story.  You knew what you were doing was wrong the moment you did it!"  

    "Bob and Lillian you are both guilty of high treason in the first degree!" The council exclaims.

     "What? We did what we thought was best for our son at the time." The merman and mermaid protest.

      "It is never best for anyone to snuff out the life of another for sport,"  A council member argues.

       Now, Bob  and Lillian tremble because they are  in deep trouble. 

    On Shore...

      Meanwhile, Marinette and Adrien are still on land unaware of the decision the mer council has made.  The couple is afraid to return to the ocean or the beach shore.  For all they know their very lives could be at stake.

    Wayhem wakes up from his nap unsure how to proceed. He knows he warned his friend and the guy's woman.  He wishes there were more he could do for them.

    A  knock is heard at the door, so Wayhem opens it slowly and gasps when he sees who it is on the porch.  It is his father, one of the high council leaders. 

   Wayhem's POV:
 "What brings you here?"  

    "I came to announce that Bob and Lillian have been arrested and now await trial for some rather horredous past crimes,"  The high council leader explains.

    "Oh, and what of it?"  Wayhem scowls.

   Adrien's  POV:
     "What about us?" He questions.

     "Do not worry you fine. The council has seen the special tapes which prove your innocence." The leader tells him.

      "Marinette, did you hear the good news darling?" 

  Marinette's POV:
     "Yes, I did!" She squeals.

     "This means we may return to the sand and the sea at last.  We  have no longer need to fear for our lives."

     "On the contrary miss, for Nathaniel was rather disgruntled about the ruling and plans to take matters into his hands,"  The high council leader warns her.

       Marinette frowns at the knowledge that Nathaniel should have so much hatred towards her and her beloved, Adrien. She knows they did nothing to fuel his wrath.  

  Kagami's POV:

 "The dreadful fish boy is after my sister and her man!  Ugh, then do not just stand there do something about it!"  Kagami screams at the man.

     She thinks he better or I will. She is not about to stand by and let someone harm her sibling or her fiance.  She finds the whole situation to be a complete disaster.

  She feels bad for Adrien and Marinette. She knows everything has not always been easy for them from the start.

    Mirelle's  POV:

    "I am with Kagami on this one. Stop him at once!"  Mirelle yells.

      She is not to thrilled about the idea of some creepy merman with an attitude problem chasing after Adrienette.  Goodness, everyone knows they have had their fair share of troubles already.

    Adrien's  POV:      

     "He still keeps this up even after all that has been brought up at the meeting.  Goodness, he sure knows how to hold a grudge."  Adrien brings up the obvious.

        Adrien sighs as he kisses Marinette's cheek.  

     "Maybe, he will understand if I speak to him alone, man to man."

          "It is more like merman to merman and I do not like the idea," Marinette protest.

         "Honey we can not let him bully us away from what is rightfully ours!" Adrien remarks.

        Under the  Sea...

     Nathaniel's  POV:

     "The nerve of the council siding with the Agreste kid and his ridiculous human girl,"  He scoffs.

        Nathaniel does not get how things could have gone south so quickly.  He misses Lila dearly and believes he should be given something for her death.  He does not care if it was self defense. He loves her and know she is taken away from him for good.

     He is so furious he is not thinking straight.  He just wants Adrien to suffer from the same thing he does heartache.  The trouble is he can not figure out how to make it happen.

       It appears that everyone else could care less about his feelings or his needs.  No one cares his fiance is gone.

      Adrien's  sea friends  POV:
          Adrien and Marinette are in the clear.  Such a relief for they will make fine rulers someday.

        We knew all along there was no way they were guilty of such rumors.

          As they swim along they see Nathaniel with a sinister grin and think great here we go again with the violent issues.  They wish that guy could blow off steam so other way than trying to bring harm to either Adrien or Marinette.

        Kim's  POV:

    "Son, you must stop this at once!"  Kim blurts out.

     He does not wish to see his son, Nathaniel make a mistake that will alter his life big time.

          "Father, what must be done will happen!" Nathaniel shouts and swims away.

         Kim believes he is a failure since his son insists on keeping this crazy behavior up.
