"Well, the truth is your father did not slip off a rock and drown,"  Sabine says.

       "He was a scientist who did research a lot," Sabine tells them

        "One day he meets me by accident and fell in love with me," Sabine says.

     "His family would not approve of our relationship since I am half-human half-fairy while he was half-human half- merman,"  Sabine explains.

     "We met in secret, were very happy, got engaged and eventually got married," Sabine says.

       "I was pregnant with you all when I found his lifeless body, " Sabine remarks. She begins to chock up as she speaks about the sad memory.

          "  I went to the beach since he was there for business and found him face down in the sand,"  Sabine says sadly.

          Sabine shows them the note she found next to Tom's body which reads:
          "Take out by Order of the Sea Queen and King!"

    "What?"  Marinette screams. She can not believe it.  Her boyfriend's parents ordered the death of her father.  

     "No, it can not be true," Marinette yells at her mother. She begins to tremble in pain.

     "Marinette, it is going  to be okay, we will make sure those horrible merpeople pay for what they did to father and..." Kagami begins.

        "Kagami, stop it!  Stop it right now.  How do we know this is real?  For all, we know our mother wrote the note and lied to us again. She did not even tell us the truth about ourselves before today."  Marinette says with tears in her eyes.

      "I think I need to be alone," Marinette says 

     "Okay, just be careful!"  Sabine leaves and goes back to the house. Kagami follows close behind her.

    "Bye, hope everything works out,"  Mirelle says. Then she walks away with her mother and the other sister.

     Meanwhile, Adrien still overheard everything because of his gift of sonic hearing sobs. He thinks, Marinette my love I am so sorry. He wishes he could tell her the whole thing is not true, but how can he?  He thinks, no my relatives killed Marinette's father. He feels like his heart might break because he wonders how will I get to remain with her.  He sobs even more.  He watches the others leave.
