I'm Velpurnia, feel free to call me Vel. This book is already finished in real life, so all you have to do is wait for me to upload- isn't that nice? (Wednesdays, most likely!)

Don't skip the last section of this note. It's important to me that you know what you're getting into. This little introduction contains information about the canon and editing along with me, if you're curious.

What this has to do with the canon events of Genshin Impact:

**SUMERU --> FONTAINE QUEST AND CHARACTER SPOILERS! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!**

-The prophecy remains the same as the canon: "That all people from Fontaine are born with sin that cannot be absolved; one day, the waters of Fontaine will rise and the sinful people will all be dissolved into the waters, and only the Hydro Archon will remain, weeping on her throne- only then will the sins of the people be washed away," but with a different translation.

-Something... kind of happened to the Hydro Archon, Furina de Fontaine. I guess you'll have to read and find out.

-Greater Lord Rukkhadevata has wiped her memory from the world, and Nahida is recognized as the rightful Dendro Archon- by most of the people. A previous Dendro Archon is never mentioned.

-The Aranara studied dreams. When the memory wipe started in Fontaine, they found it had an affect on Varanara and the Tree of Dreams, and decided to take action.

-Little character changes here and there- where Freminet lives, the House of the Hearth, etc. I try to keep their personalities as close to the canon as possible, but also want to give them the character development that Genshin's writers don't give to them.
