Lindsay's POV

Harry had avoided Ginny and let's say he got a good shouting at from her. She had told him he'd be alone. He was suffering and so was she. Remus and I tried to convince him to tell her the truth. He refused to do so.

We were left with one option left. We had to show Ginny. Harry and Remus had been taking their doses of wolfsbane  for the week and tonight is the full moon. Eathan and Jossie knew the plan and they understood. Remus met up with Ginny and me after our last class of the day.

" May I talk to the two of you," Remus asked us.

" Of course Professor," Ginny said.

We followed him onto the grounds. We walked to the Whomping Willow and enter the tunnel soon we were in Hogsmeade in the Shrieking Shack.

" Where are we," Ginny asked.

" Hogsmeade," I said simply.

Ginny looked shocked.

" That tunnel we went through leads us into Hogsmeade," Remus said.

" If you want to find out Harry's secrets follow that tunnel here tonight," I said.

" Alright," Ginny said.

" I'll walk you back," I said.

I did walk her back and told her a time to be there. Later Remus, Harry, Jossie, Eathan, and me walked into the Shrieking Shack and saw a man I didn't know.

" Sirius," Remus asked.

" Remus it's good to see you," the man, who was called Sirius, said.

" What are you doing here," Remus asked.

" I'm being here for you. I know it's the full moon," Sirius said.

He then noticed Harry and me.

" What are Lindsay and Harry doing here? You were always afraid of infecting someone. It's dangerous for them," Sirius said.

" Sirius look at Harry," Remus said.

" He looks like crap," Sirius said taking a look at Harry.

" Look in his eyes," Remus said.

Sirius did and sorrow followed as he looked at Remus.

" He's-," Sirius started but Harry felt pain and ran to a room.

We heard a cry of pain. Jossie and Eathan flinched at the sound. I looked at them.

" Go transform in a different room," I said.

They did and Sirius looked at Remus and I. 

" Why is Lindsay here," he asked.

" Because I can transform into a wolf. Jossie and Eathan are Wolfbloods. I've spent full moons with Remus and Harry since I was five," I said.

We heard another cry of pain.

" It's worse when they're younger," Remus said.

I knew what Sirius was about to ask next.

" Harry was bitten the same night Mom and Dad died. Madam Pomfrey helped him on his first transformation. She also took care of me," I said.

Sirius nodded and Remus went into a room to transform. All we could hear was screams and yelps of pain. Sirius transformed into a black dog. I smelt Ginny.

" You can come in. I know you heard everything," I said.

I looked where Ginny was as she came out of hiding. I smiled. Then there was more screams of pain which started to turn into yelps.

" It's time you find out our secrets," I said.

I looked at the moon and I felt the power flow through me. I looked at my hands and saw my veins turning black. The change was always amazing but I always hated no moon days. I also knew Jossie and Eathan were transforming. 

As soon as I transformed I looked at Ginny. She was shocked. I walked to her and rubbed against her leg like I'm a friendly dog. She then giggled. We soon heard the yelps stop. I walked toward the room where Harry was. I motioned for Ginny to follow. She did. I opened Harry's door and we walked in.

" Harry," she asked as she saw my brother.

He looked at her. She hugged him.

" It is you," she said.

Jossie and Eathan walked in. Their wolves were Grey, Black, and White with a bit of yellow on their fur while their eyes were yellow like mine. Soon Remus and Sirius entered. All of us exited the Shrieking Shack. Harry dragged Ginny by her sleeve gently. Ginny sat on the ground and I put my head on her lap. 

Remus and Sirius were playing with each other and Jossie and Eathan were doing the same thing. Harry sat near Ginny.

" You two can go play. I'll be fine," Ginny said.

I just made a dog groan and snuggled into her to tell her 'I'm comfortable thanks'. Harry gave her look to say 'yeah right'. He went to get a stick. He brought one to Ginny.

" Seriously," she said.

He smiled at her with the stick now on the ground.

" Alright," she said.

She picked up the stick and threw it. Harry ran after it and fetched the stick. This happened a couple more times. By the time Harry got back to Ginny and me I smelt something. He could too. We sniffed the air it was another werewolf and it was coming straight for Ginny, Harry, and me. 

I saw him run toward us. Harry attacked but he had a bad size disadvantage. Harry managed to accidently throw the werewolf close to Ginny and I. The werewolf got up and stared at Ginny. I stood in front of her and crouched down. I growled at the werewolf then I noticed his eyes. Fenir Greyback was the werewolf.

I growled and barked at him now. Remus, Sirius, Jossie, and Eathan were behind me now along with Ginny and Harry. Greyback pounced and I also attacked. He bit me and I howled in pain. I tried to fight back. eventually we were back in our places. I growled at Greyback. The fight started again.

This time I went for his neck. I bit him in the neck. I pinned him to the ground and my jaw closed tighter on his neck. I heard a sickening crack. I let go of his neck and back away. He was lifeless. I had just killed Fenir Greyback. I looked at my pack. I was scared. Remus, Harry, Jossie, Eathan, and even Sirius bowed at me.

Oh Merlin no. Please don't let it be this. Remus walked up to me and placed his forehead on mine. His eyes were closed and so were mine. I felt a new power flow into me. He then backed away from me and bowed again. Yep it was this. Ginny looked at me confused.

I looked at the forest and saw the wolves again. I then made Fenir's body disappear to somewhere else. I looked at my pack and Ginny. I barked and we all went to the Whomping Willow. Once inside Remus and Harry rushed to their rooms. The sun started to rise. Jossie, Eathan, and I transformed in the hall in front of Ginny and Sirius. Once in my human form I sat on the floor and leaned against the wall. Sirius and Ginny sat across from me.

Jossie and Eathan sat on either side of me. We heard yelps of pain. I looked at Ginny and noticed she was staring at Harry's door. 

" He'll be fine. I've heard him when it was worse. I used to curl up in a ball, cover my ears, and cry. I always was afraid that he was really hurt but I couldn't do anything. I eventually got used to it," I said.

She looked at me.

" What happened outside just now," she asked.

" That wolf you saw was a werewolf by the name of Fenir Greyback. He's the one who turned my brother and my uncle or Professor Remus Lupin. Remus was bitten when he was young. Harry was bitten when he was a one year old. I don't know why Fenir came here. I fought him to protect you but when he attacked me the second time I made an error after I pinned him," I said.

" What error," Eathan asked.

" I bit down on his neck harder than I wanted to. I heard a sickening crack. I realized what I did. I killed Fenir Greyback. Then Remus made me Alpha of the pack," I said. 

The yelps had turned to screams of pain. I wiped my mouth, which still had blood on it. Soon Remus came out of his room fully clothed. I looked at him.

" Why did you make me the Alpha of the pack," I asked.

" You proved yourself. It wasn't the best way but you deserve it," Remus said.

I nodded then I looked at Harry's door.

" That's odd he should be done by now," I said.

" Go and check on him," Remus said to me.

I got up and walked into Harry's room. I shut the door behind me. He looked at me.

" How much did she hear," Harry asked.

" Basically all of it," I said.

He groaned and hid his face in his hands. I laughed as he was embarrassed.

" Come on it's not that bad. It's not like she saw you naked," I said.

He looked at me shocked and red faced. I laughed at his reaction. I soon talked him into coming out. We walked out together. Soon we were in the castle and went our separate ways. I'm glad it's Saturday. Sirius stayed behind cause he was wanted. After breakfast Ginny and I went somewhere private. We ended in a broom closet which was weird. I answered all of Ginny's questions.

Glad my friend knows my secret.....

This chapter is in memory of the seventh grader that I know. He passed away this week but his memory will live on.
