Niki's pov
I picked Mari up and took her downstairs to the living room area, but she still has that cat in her hands. The cat is really pretty, but has creepy multi-colored eyes. Like literally 5 different colours. I placed her on the chair beside her dad and they sat across from me. "U-um" I stuttered out. "I have a confession to make." I said as I gulped in fear.

"I'm the cause of your mother's death."
