83|"We're Good."

(A/N so this is going to be in third person perspective, hope you don't mind;))

Colorful blankets, towels, and cheap rugs dot the warm sand. Darry's truck is backed in, the bed of the truck cushioned with pillows and thick blankets. A stereo sits on the ground by the blankets blasting cheerful music. Different articles of clothing are thrown about the air, coated in sand. The sound of laughter can be heard from every corner of the small site. The children are in a group on a large towel. Aiden and Henry are fast asleep despite all of the commotion. However, Tibby, Josh, Wesley, and Shai are awake. Small hats cover their heads to prevent sunburn. Tibby and Josh weakly push each other around playfully while Wesley and Shai lay on the blanket sleepily, but unable to sleep as they carelessly and unknowingly watch their family dance around in the sand.

The hot sun heats up the sand that they prance around on. It seeps between their toes, spreading the warmth through out all of their bodies. Lena throws off her flannel, revealing a lacy bra. Her high waisted shorts cover the other half of her stomach. Her hair is tied up in a lazy bun. It bobs as Steve swings her body to the music. Soda and Chris lay asleep, fully clothed despite the heat, on the sand. Both are tired from the sleepless nights of taking care of the kids. They snore softly, catching the attention of a mischievous Two-Bit. He smirks and taps Dallas's shoulder. Dallas turns away from Skyler, who he was dancing with, and looks at where Two is pointing. Upon seeing his sister and brother in law, Dallas smirks with Kieth. Skyler sighs. "Don't you dare Dallas Winston, they are tired, let them sleep," Skyler demands. Dallas pouts.

"But we're on vacation!" Dallas protests like a child. Skyler sighs.

"Fine, but I'm going after you next time your sleeping," Skyler threatens jokingly. Dallas plants a quick kiss on her cheek and he and Two-Bit run to the pair of sleeping parents. Dallas gets ready to grab Chris as Kieth prepares to throw Soda over his shoulder. Dallas quietly counts to three and then suddenly, Chris and Soda are ripped from their restful sleep. With the love birds slung over their shoulders, Dally and Two sprint to the waters edge before chucking Chris and Soda into the water. Chris squeals loudly at the sudden force of the cold water hitting her back. Soda yells surprised as he lands in the water. When the pair stands their wet clothes hang heavily from their bodies. Chris looks angrily at her brother before smiling with unclear intentions. She splashes him with the icy water. Dallas smiles and jumps back a bit.

"Skinny dipping time!" Two-Bit yells. He begins to pull off every piece of clothing that covers his body. They are chucked onto the sand. He yells with joy and runs into the water before tripping and letting it engulf his body. Dallas joins in, leaving his underwear on before jumping into the water after his friend. Lena's head perks up from where she is dancing with Steve. She smirks at the sight and pulls off her shorts bravely. Steve looks at her happily clapping his hands together happily. Lena pulls Steve's shirt off as he takes off his shorts. The two of them running into the water. Pony soon follows them, pulling off his shirt as he runs to the waters edge. Skyler stands with Johnny and Darry beside his truck. The three off them stand for awhile watching, none of them expecting the other to join in with the madness. It especially surprises Johnny and Skyler when Darry is the one to pull off his t-shirt and sprint into the water. Skyler claps loudly and laughs as Darry hollers happily while running into the water. Skyler looks to Johnny thinking about what to do next.

"I'm not going in," he states. Skyler grabs his arm and nods her head frantically.

"If Dar went in, then you have to little Cade," Skyler demands. Johnny smiles. Skyler runs to the water, Johnny behind her. She throws off her clothes as she runs. She jumps into Dallas's open arms where he standing in the waist deep water. He stumbles back as her legs wrap around his waist. She giggles loudly at whats happening. Johnny sprints into the water. Pony smiles happily at his best friend.

"Yea Johnny cake!" He hoots. Johnny splashes Pony and it soon turns into a water fight between the boys. Soda greets Darry happily. It warms his heart that Darry is finally just having fun. He deserves it after all the bills he pays, and all the long days that he works. Darry jumps into an oncoming wave. Soda applauds him, Chris at his side smiling and laughing. They all stay in the water for awhile splashing, laughing, playfully dunking each other under the water. Grease from the boy's hair seeps into the water. Skyler and Dallas have their arms wrapped round each other, their eyes closed. They are completely engulfed in each other, so caught in the other person that they don't hear a baby begin to cry from the sand. Steve lets Lena go so she can swim far out into the water like she requested. With Lena not as a distraction anymore, he hears the soft cry of the baby. He looks to Skyler and Dally. They look so happy, it would be wrong to break them up. So instead of telling the couple a child is crying, he walks away from the party himself to attend to the child. The water drips off his dark skin as he approaches the blanket that the kids are laying on. He kneels in front of them, seeing that it is Shai who is crying. Steve picks up a small towel that is heating under the warm sun and wraps Shai in it. He shushes her quietly.

"Hey kid, why ya cryin'? You've got two happy parents, way to many uncles and aunts, and your on a vacation that was practically free." Steve speaks quietly. Shai looks back up at Steve with her puppy brown eyes. They are quite unlike both her parents eyes. Her and Aiden somehow ended up with these dark chocolate eyes. He smiles at her. "You look a lot like your mom, besides your eyes, I guess you got those from your grandma, she had brown eyes too." He recalls seeing the picture that Skyler had of her mother. It is in a small frame on her and Dally's dresser in their bedroom.

"You're right," A soft voice says from behind him. Skyler looks down at Steve smiling. Steve smiles at her.

"Sorry, I should of told you she was crying, but You and ol'Dal looked so happy." Skyler nods happily.

"No need to apologize, thanks," She tells him. She kneels next to Steve, "for someone who freaked out when Lena brought up the future, you're really good with kids," she claims. Steve nods his head slowly.

"Ya, I don't think I'm afraid anymore, I don't know, I mean I am not saying that I'm going to get hitched tomorrow and then in the next two weeks Lena will be pregnant, I'm saying that if it did happen I wouldn't be sad about it. I love her so much, she is so quiet, but so loud, she doesn't even need to talk for me to get totally lost in her. She just has to look at me with those god damn blue eyes and I'm a goner. She doesn't have any plans for anything. If she died tomorrow, its like she wouldn't care because she knows she lived while she could. She knows this is her life and she wants to live in spontaneously. At first I didn't think I would be able to keep up with her because she is just so damn perfect, but I did and I feel like I finally deserve her," Steve preaches. Skyler just stares at him smiling. Steve laughs quietly to himself. "You must think I'm such a softie now." Skyler shrugs.

"I seem to have that effect on people, I made Dallas want kids and I just made you preach for Lena. That was beautiful Steve," Skyler claims. Steve places a now sleeping Shai back on the blanket in the sand with her siblings and cousins and Henry. Then, he throws his arms around Skyler. She is surprised at first, but eventually melts into the hug.

"We're good Sky, ya?" Steve asks softly. Skyler nods.

"Ya Steve, we're good."

--------------------------------------------
Dally trucks through the water to his sister, wrapping his arm around her neck casually. "Whats up little sis?" Chris smile up at him.

"Just being happy for a while, and you? Where's Sky?" Chris asks with her eyebrows furrowed. Dally smiles, looking at Skyler on the beach talking with Steve.

"Having a heart to heart with your best friend," he states happily. Chris raises her eyebrows.

"You seem okay with it."

"I don't have anything to worry about, I know that," Dallas states bravely. Chris smiles and hugs her big brother.

"Hey Dallas! C'mere and help me, you too Chris and Soda, bring Two-Bit!" Skyler yells from the beach. Dallas smiles at his life partner.

"Two is still naked!" Soda yells to Skyler. Skyler rolls her eyes.

"We've all seen him naked anyways just come on!" she hollers. They explode into laughter and jump out of the water to assist Skyler and Steve. Two bit holds his hands between his legs until her finds his underwear and pulls it on. Upon reaching Skyler she smiles. "Pick a baby, we are taking them for their first swim." Steve backs away, his hands up in protest.

"I don't think that that is a job for me," he tells them. Soda rolls his eyes and picks up Josh.

"Think fast buddy," Soda says quickly before tossing Josh to Steve. Steve widens his eyes and quickly catches the child.

"Jesus  man! What if I dropped him?" Steve protests.

"I knew you wouldn't," Soda insists shrugging. Chris giggles innocently and takes Wesley. She holds him close to her chest. Steve holds Josh awkwardly and uncomfortably. Dally takes Tibby's small hands in his and stands her up in-between his legs. With the help of her father's hands, she is able to stumble along with him to the waters edge. Skyler takes Shai from her spot on the blanket and follows Dally. Soda grabs Aiden and waits for Two-Bit to pick up Henry before walking to catch up with the rest of the group. Dally is the first one to tread through the water with Tibby. The little girl giggles ferociously as her daddy holds her half in the water. She kicks her small and chubby legs, accidentally splashing Darry who laughs. Chris gets back into the water next, only going to where it is waist deep. She dips her son's toes into the soft waves. He looks back up at her with amused eyes. Soda stands next to Chris, holding the Winston's baby. Steve comes up behind Soda.

"Here take your own baby, I'll take little Winston," Steve insists. Lena comes running through the water next to Steve.

"Oh no you don't, I'll take Aiden, I wanna pinch his little cheeks the chubby bugger," Lena states excitedly. Steve smiles at Lena.

"Watch it Lena, thats my baby boy your talking about," Skyler jokes.

"He'll be a heartbreaker one day for sure," Lena jokes while smiling and taking Aiden from Soda. Steve then hands Josh to Soda. Soda smiles down at his first born. Skyler watches the scene from where she stands next to Two-Bit. Shai looks down at the water confused while Henry tries to swat at it, but his dad holds him back. Skyler smiles at Steve and his acceptance of what the future will bring. He is right. It is clear that even from an outside perspective he gets lost in Lena. He watches Lena hold Aiden and smiles. Glad my baby could help. Skyler smiles at the thought. Two-Bit laughs as Shai tries to grab Henry's nose. Skyler laughs at the two of them. "What a pair huh?" Two states. Skyler laughs.

"Who knows, they aren't blood related, maybe they will end up together one day," Skyler tells Kieth. She smiles and then sighs.

"Never thought I would be having a conversation like this, I never thought I would be a dad," Two-Bit exclaims. Skyler nudges him.

"You're pretty good at it." Two smiles and plants a kiss on Skyler's cheek.

"We've come pretty far haven't we Sky?" Skyler looks to Dallas who is a few feet away. He laughs as Tibby does when he swooshes her small body through the water. He pulls Tibby's tiny body into his chest, closing his eyes as he hugs their daughter gently. The sun glistens off of the water dripping from their skin. Skyler smirks and laughs quietly.

"Ya, ya we really have Two."

Everyone comes back to the sand and throws on dry clothes as the sun begins to set. Steve, Two-Bit, Lena, Soda, Darry, and Pony have started a small game of soccer a few feet away from all the towels they have set down. Chris collects stones and puts them in a pile on the sand. Using her hands, Chris digs a small hole in the sand. Skyler drops the wood she collected from the beach and fills the hole with it. The pair of them place the stones in a circle at the rim of the hole. "You have a lighter on you Sky?"

"Nah, she never does since she stopped smoking, here have mine, found it in Buck's truck," Dallas offers. Skyler shakes her head.

"Don't speak to soon Dally, I have one with me," she claims, pulling a red lighter from her pocket. Dallas furrows his eyebrows.

"Why do you have a lighter?" Dallas asks confused. Chris tries to ignore the upcoming conversation by taking Skyler's lighter and starting the fire.

"To um, light the sparklers Lena and I bought," Skyler answers quickly. Dallas bites his lip, not believing the story, but not wanting to fight during their getaway. Skyler stands up and walks over to Lena who is trying to get the ball as they play soccer. Dallas goes to check on the kids. Johnny and Skyler had put all of the kids on the blankets in the bed of Darry's truck, that way they couldn't crawl away. Dallas stands on the back of the truck and peers at the sleeping babies. They are all pretty tired from playing all day. He smiles at them.

"What's up little rugrats?" He whispers. Johnny pops up next to Dally. "Hey John."

"What's up Dal?" Dally shrugs.

"Dunno, just trying to waste some time until Chrissy has the fire going. You good Johnny cake?" Johnny shrugs.

"My best friend leaves me tomorrow, I'm a little bummed out I guess," Johnny replies disdainfully. Dallas nods understandingly.

"Don't worry, he is coming back for thanksgiving, until then you can help me with something," Dallas states casually.

"What do you need my help with?" Johnny asks confused.

"Well, I've been really busy because I've been trying to work so much so I can pay off the last of the hospital bills and getting some savings for when Tibby is old enough for school, so I haven't had time to work on this car I bought a few weeks ago. Skyler doesn't know, just me, Soda, Steve, and now you. Soda and Steve don't really have time to help me since Soda is working so much like me and Steve is always off roaming the country with Lena. So, you think that you can work on the truck while I am at work? I know Skyler has you helping her take care of the kids while she cleans and cooks, but even an hour a day of working on it would help me," Dallas explains. Johnny smiles widely.

"I would love to help Dal. Where did you get a car? And where are you keeping it?" Johnny asks curiously, suddenly so excited to help Dally. Dallas smiles at his enthusiasm.

"Buck actually found it for me, I told him a few weeks before then that I really needed a car to get to and from work because Darry can only drive me so often, and also for Skyler for grocery shopping. It's at Steve's place right now and its really beat up. It needs a lot of work, but I just want it done by Christmas, you know, as my present to Skyler," Dallas explains the details.

"Thats amazing Dal, she is going to love it." Dally smiles and playfully nudges Johnny's shoulder.

"Fire is ready for roastin' you lot!" Chris yells. Everyone gathers around the fire, taking a roasting stick and sitting down. They brought vegetables, hot dogs, and marshmallows to roast over the fire. Despite their recent awkward conversation, Skyler still plops down practically in Dally's lap. Soda piles his stick with food and then sits next to Chris as he waits for it to cook over the flames. The gang makes small talk as they eat under the fading sun. Laughter is shared along with food.

"Hey Dar, you got an extra mushroom?" Pony yells across the circle. Darry grabs one and throws it at Pony, who catches it swiftly.

"Ugh, I've had so much, would it be bad if I had another marshmallow," Steve states. Lena, who is sitting in his lap, grabs the bag of marshmallows and carelessly shoves it in Steve's face. Steve coughs it out of his mouth. Lena smirks at her actions. "You think you're funny don't ya?"

"Very much so," Lena replies. Steve grabs her hips and turns her body around so she is facing him, her legs now wrapped around his waist.

"Well jokes on you, it was actually kind of a turn on," Steve states, wiggling his eyebrows. Chris and Pony both gag. Skyler stands up.

"I see this ending badly for whatever innocence is left in my eyes," She states before walking away.

"I feel ya babe," Dallas states as he follows her. Steve and Lena begin to kiss patiently. Johnny and Pony stand up quickly, following Skyler and Dally, Pony mumbling, "get a room."

Darry smirks and walks away, Soda and Chris not far behind. Upon realizing that Two-Bit is still watching the couple get in on, Pony rolls his eyes and marches back to Two-Bit. He grabs his ear and pulls Two-Bit along with him. "Come on you sick twisted bastard."

"Awe come on Pone, I was just enjoying the show."

"Ya, exactly."

After about twenty minutes, Chris begins to walk back to where Steve and Lena had begun to get it going. The rest of the group asks her to tell them if the coast is clear. She approaches the site cautiously. Upon seeing her friends completely naked, but just relaxing she shields her eyes. "Good god you fucking hood rats," Chris exclaims.

"Why didn't you guys come back sooner, all I needed was maybe seven minutes," Steve states. Chris gags and runs to throw up a few yards away. Lena smirks.

"Too much?" Lena jokes. Chris flips her off playfully before shouting back to everyone else.

"Coast is clear guys, by the time you get here they should be dressed again!" She hollers. Lena and Steve get dressed again and the rest of the group makes it back to their small site. Chris turns up the radio. Moonlight drive by the Doors is blasting in their ears now. Skyler closes her eyes and jumps happily.

"Oh my god," she squeals, tugging on Dallas' arm. Dallas smiles brightly at Skyler.

"It's your song babe!" Dallas yells enthusiastically. Skyler starts dancing to the instrumental intro to the song. Chris tosses Skyler a beer. She catches it swiftly as she sways her hips. Lena is the first one to start dancing with her. Skyler takes a large gulp of the alcohol and lets it burn her throat. When Jim Morrison starts singing, so does Skyler. She belt out each lyric with passion, her hips moving with the songs words.

"Let's swim to the moon, lets climb through the tide," Skyler sings, her voice pitchy and raspy. Pony joins in with her. "Penetrate the evenin' that the, city sleeps to hide." Soon enough everyone is dancing, some of them singing along as well. Dallas takes Skyler hand and brings it up over her head. He twirls her around classically as she sings. Skyler pulls herself back into Dallas' chest. "Let's swim out tonight, love. It's our turn to try. Parked beside the ocean. On our moonlight drive." Dallas smiles at Skyler. They share a short kiss before Skyler returns to singing once again. Chris nearly bumps into Skyler and Dally when Soda twirls her around. They dance maniacally before Soda pulls Chris close to him. Chris wraps an arm around his neck. He grasps her lower back. Their free hands are clasped together as they sway to the song. Lena and Steve are dancing almost professionally. Steve spins her around gracefully as she smiles. His hands grasp her waste and on a down beat of the song he lifts her through the air before bringing her back down carefully. They clasp their hands together and move their shoulder back and forth. Steve ends up laughing and just pulling Lena close to him. They dance happily to the slow part of the song.

Pony leans close to Darry's ear so he can hear him over the music. "Bet you can't hold one of the girls above your head," Pony challenges. Darry looks at his little brother smirking.

"Watch me kid brother." Darry walks into the midst of the dancing commotion. "Who wants to fly?" Darry asks happily. Skyler is the first to perk her head up. "Good Skyler, come on," Darry tells her excitedly. Skyler pulls away from Dallas. Darry backs up so they are standing a couple yards from each other. Darry holds out his hands and Skyler digs her feet into the sand, preparing to run. Darry counts to three and then Skyler sprints to Darry, a mysterious smile on her face. Dallas watches, ready to run to Skyler if something goes wrong. Everyone watches in anticipation as the music hums in the background. Skyler jumps a bit and Darry's hands grasp her hips. He flexes the muscles in his arms and pulls Skyler above his head. She looks like Super Man, stuck in the air with her arms outstretched in front of her and legs pointed straight behind her. She hollers happily and everyone cheers. Dallas lets go of a breath he didn't even realize he was holding and claps. He watches Skyler laugh as she "flies". Its so good to see her finally happy. With everything that's happened, it was becoming clear to Dallas that a lot of the time she was faking her happiness. He doesn't blame her, with the tragedy she went through and her history of depression. Anyways, its just good to see her genuinely enjoying herself. Darry spins around happily as he holds Skyler up there. Finally, Darry lets Skyler down. The two of them hug cheerfully. The song almost finishes as the sun completely sets and the moon comes out.

Come on, baby, gonna take a little ride

Down, down by the ocean side

Gonna get real close

Get real tight

Baby gonna drown tonight

Goin' down, down, down.

Lena and Skyler reach into the trunk of Buck's car and grab the dozens of boxes of sparklers that they bought the the day before.

Lena shows up at the Winston household with a pocket full of cash and all smiles. Skyler wipes Aiden's food covered face and glances back at Lena from the kitchen. "Hey Lena, sorry I'm not ready yet, Aiden through a fit which only made Shai cry and I've just lost Tibby," Skyler exclaims, frazzled.

"It's cool, is Chris coming with us?" Lena asks casually, walking up to Shai and pinching her cheeks gently. Skyler shakes her head as she walks into her and Dallas' room, changing into a white t-shirt.

"No, she has a doctors appointment with Wesley, just you and me," Skyler says quickly, pulling back her short hair. Lena nods her head.

"Cool, where's John?" Lena asks, sitting on the counter top.

"Right here," Johnny says as he walks into the room holding Tibby. Skyler sighs.

"There she is!" She exclaims tiredly. Johnny laughs a bit.

"She crawled into the room all on her own, Pony is coming by to help me watch them," Johnny tells Skyler, who nods.

"Got it, there are bottles with milk in the fridge, remember, warm them in the microwave, test it on your wrist and-"

"Skyler, I know what to do, just go out," Johnny tells Skyler while smirking. Skyler rubs her forehead and smiles slightly.

"Obviously you know what your doing, thanks again Johnny, if you want to go out call Two-Bit, he is home with Henry today, he can come here if you want to run to hang out with those friends, what are their names, Mark and Bryon!" Skyler exclaims, happy that she remembered there names. Johnny shrugs.

"More of Pony's friends then mine, but thanks for the information, now go," Johnny says happily. Skyler smiles and grabs some cash. Lena jumps off of the counter and walks with Skyler out of the door. They make small talk for awhile before Skyler takes a deep breath.

"What's with the exaggerated sigh?" Lena questions. Skyler shrugs.

"I've just been itching for another smoke, I hate the idea of it, especially after what happened to me with the cancer and all, but I guess old habits never die," Skyler states. Lena shrugs.

"Pot."

"What?" Skyler asks confused. Lena raises her eyebrows.

"Steve and I have been smoking pot, it was his idea, he had wanted to smoke real bad too, but he didn't want to smoke around you ya know? So he comes home one night with a bunch of the stuff, that's what we have been smoking lately," Lena explains. Skyler thinks on it for awhile.

"That's a good idea, have any on you?" Skyler asks after mulling the idea over in her head. Lena nods, taking it out.

"You got a lighter?" Skyler shakes her head no.

"No, I never carry a light since I quit," she states. Lena sighs.

"Maybe I've got one in my pocket," Lena says as she rummages through all her jacket and pants pockets. She pulls out a lighter that comes from her leather jacket. "Got one."  Lena carefully rolls a joint and hands it to Skyler, who places it between her lips. Lena lights it for her. Skyler inhales deeply and then blows out the smoke. It's a smooth feeling, everything is just very nice. "You like it?" Lena asks casually. Skyler nods.

"It's a good thing I don't breastfeed anymore cause I'm pretty sure I love this and am going to be smoking a lot, the twins prefer the bottled formula," Skyler states. If she has been breastfeeding, she wouldn't risk passing on the chemicals through her milk.

"It still can increase cancer risks you know," Lena reminds Skyler. Skyler nods.

"I just won't do it to often, you only live once my friend, and I intend to live life to the fullest," Skyler states. Lena nods. She knows that Dally probably won't approve of this. It also confused Lena a bit why Skyler seems so okay with dying while she still has three children. Lena has always been the kind of person that just accepts death willingly, but she also doesn't have a family that she would be leaving behind. But Lena knows that that's none of her business, it's Skyler's life, not hers.

The girls proceed to buy a bunch of food and eventually find a shelf full of sparklers. They take about half of the shelf. "To living life to the fullest," Lena says as she grabs another box of sparklers.

The girls hand out the sparklers to everyone now that it is dark out. Everyone whips out their lighters and start to light there small sticks. Soda cranks up the radio so it is blasting. Everyone giggles as they run around anxiously. The metallic sparks flying from the small sticks crackle throughout the night air. The juxtaposition between the dark night and the bright lights of the sparklers is shocking. Chris catches Darry taking pictures. Everyone is dancing around, flailing their arms crazily. The small flames dance in their hands as they wave them through the air, leaving lightning quick lines that disappear within a second. Skyler looks to Dallas and draws a quick heart with the sparklers. He smirks and blows her a kiss. She giggles like a small girl as he does so.

By now the temperature has dropped profoundly and the tips of their toes are like ice, but no one seems to car. They are running on adrenaline. The music is controlling the way their limbs move. With each click of the beat their body's jump and twirl. Lena finds herself looking around at her friends. How had she gone from having not one friend, to coming back from war with Steve and being welcomed into a family of simply magnificent people. She has never felt so grateful in the entirety of her life.

Soda also finds himself taking a break from being a complete goofball and looking gratefully at his family. Fighting all those long months with Steve was traumatizing. It nearly crushed his spirit. Knowing that Chris was waiting at home with his child was the only thing keeping him going. Thoughts of Pony and Darry gave him energy on the nights that seemed especially long. He had limited memories to keep him running during the war. Now it feels as if the memories will never stop being made. This is better than any high anyone could ever deal. Better than any form of whiskey.

Soon their giggles fade into the night. They end up sitting around the fire in a small circle, talking and laughing. One by one everyone seems to fall asleep on the spot. Eventually the other people still awake are Soda, Steve, and Chris. In the end of course it's them. Soda clasps Chris's hand and pulls her along, Steve following next to Soda. The three of them walk on the water sedge of the beach. "I miss this," Chris states in a happy recalling of their old memories and times together.

"Me too," Soda states. Steve snorts, amused.

"Do you two softies hear yourselves? You sound so old and mature," Steve jokes. Soda laughs.

"Couldn't really help it now could we?" Soda replies. Chris smiles at her husbands response.

"This is all I could want, the three of us alone for a few minutes, I miss my two favorite buds." Steve bats his eyelashes.

"Well gee Christina, you sound like such a mom," Steve jokes.

"Well Steven, if it wasn't obvious I am a mom," she replies with a smirk. Soda laughs at that. The three of them just chuckled for a bit before pulling themselves together.

"This is nice, the three of us again, this is good, this is us," Steve states with a satisfied grin. Soda smirks.

"Didn't you know? This is who we are."
