80|"Burn The Son Of A Bitch."

<Skyler's POV>

Two-Bit, Steve, and Soda have all been shot. Steve and Soda in the gut and Two-Bit by his collar bone. Chris has been retied next to me on the shelf. Dallas remains attached to the work desk. Soda has been tied up next to Chris on the shelf and Two-Bit on the other side of the tool desk. Charlie doesn't know it, but one of my hands is still untied. If something were to go horribly wrong I could try to escape. But at the moment, if I make one move, either I or one of my friends will be shot. Blood has coated almost everything in the basement, groans and heavy breathing surround me. The door leading outside has been locked along with the door leading into the house from the basement. Charlie has re-entered the basement, a knife in his jeans pocket and a now fully loaded gun in his hand. The sweat pouring from his skin stains his shirt, along with the the blood of the rest of us. "Well this is quite a turn out, here I was thinking I would only get to kill two of the most important people to Dallas in front of him," Charlie says smiling cheerfully, "now there are five of you. This will be fun."

"Blowing off your skull would be fun, this is wrong," I say in a raspy voice, my injuries causing pain to shoot through my body. Charlie marches over to me and grabs my hair. He tugs it so I am facing Dallas directly. The gun that was so naturally residing in his hand is now pointed under my chin, aiming through my skull. I see Dallas and the others tense up a bit.

"What do you say ol' Dally? Should we get rid of big mouth here first?" Charlie teases. I grit my teeth and try to pull away. Charlie refuses to let me move.

"Don't touch her," Dallas exclaims, his voice deep, "shoot me instead," Dallas insists. Charlie shrugs and drops my head.

"Okay," he states casually before shooting Dallas in the thigh, right above his knee. Dallas screams and pulls right on his restraints to try and block out he pain. I shriek in horror. "Now that that's taken care of, maybe I should kill hmm," Chalrie spins on his heel and points the gun at Soda. "Maybe you, you are a double hit to the heart aren't ya? Married to Christina and friends with her big brother. Yes you'll do quite nicely," Charlie approves his own choice. Chris begins to shake profusely. Soda clenches his jaw shut and waits for the blow, but it never comes. Charlie glances at the ground as if realizing something. "No," he mumbles, turning and once again pointing the gun at Steve. "You are even more of a hit, friend of Dallas, best friend to Christina and Sodapop, partial lover of Skyler, jokester buddy of Kieth, oh you are perfect," Charlie decides. I watch the whole thing happen in slow motion. Charlie aims the gun at Steve's forehead, closing one eye for better accuracy. I hear Soda yell his best friends name. Out of the corner of my eye, Dallas widens his eyes in disbelief, pulling at his restraints. Two-Bit quickly closes his eyes, not wanting that image to be forever seared into the inside of his eyelids. Christina lets out an ear piercing shriek of being utterly mortified. I remember Steve saying, only a few minutes previously, "I intend to live a painfully long life." Now here he is at gun point, his eyes staring unforgivingly at Charlie. His jaw is set, ready to accept death.

The next part happens within a single second. A long bang comes from the door leading outside. Lena's military boot kicks through the door. The useless piece of the house, falls to the ground with a slam. Lena crashes her body into Charlie's. He is pushed to the side, aiming towards the ground. Not even half a millisecond later, Charlie shoots. I watch the gun move before he shoots. After being pushed the gun changes its course from Steve's skull to my ribs.

I feel the impact, and gasp as I watch Lena push Charlie to the ground. The gun falls from his hand and slides over to Chris's feet. Nausea hits me like a truck. Blood begins to pour from the wound. I feel like a hanging caucus, everything falling out of me for the world to see. Dallas screams and pulls hard on his hand restraints, grinding his teeth together as he does. On the ground, Lena sits over Charlie, punching his face with her ring dressed knuckles. Blood spurts from his face as she lashes out on him. Eventually, Charlie reaches his knife and slashes Lena across the face. She stays on top of him, grasping his neck between her small fingers. The muscles from her military training are evident now, popping out like balloons. Blood drips down her face from the cut on her forehead. It's seeps into her eye and crusts her hair. When Charlie kicks up his leg and knees her in the gut Lena groans and falls off of Charlie. Before he can jump on her, she stands up, having nothing to fight with, but her bare hands. Her long brown hair is caught in her cut and between her lips. As Charlie runs at her, Lena grabs a box from a shelf and throws it at his head. He is thrown back to the ground with a loud thump. I gasp for air as I watch. "Hang in there Sky, Lena will get us out," Steve whispers to me as he tries to pull himself free. Now that I look at it, everyone is struggling to break free. I need to help, Lena can't do this on her own. With my right hand free, I untie my left hand and drop to the ground. The drop makes my head spin, but I quickly regain focus in my eyes. Just as Charlie gets back up and goes charging at Lena, I grasp a lighter from my back pocket and throw it at her. She catches it swiftly and looks around her frantically.

"The tool desk Lena!" Two-Bit screams. She jumps out of Charlie's path of destruction and stops at the desk. Grabbing some sort of flammable spray used for engineering, she places the lighter in front of it, pointing it at Charlie and sprays. The spray turns into a wild flame. The scent burns my nose and smoke quickly fogs the room. Charlie screams as the flame licks his skin. The yell only worsens my headache. Weakly, I stand up and begin to untie Chris. I'm almost done with both hands when I hear Lena scream. Charlie worked his way up to her and stabbed her. She fights back as long as she can before he grabs her by the neck and throws her at the wall. A few knick knacks fall from the wall onto her head. Lena tries to lift her face from the ground, but finds herself to weak. Steve yells in protests and rips at his restraints. They loosen a bit, but don't break. Charlie marches over to me, his knife raised. Dallas yells, "NO!" He grasps my hair holds my head back and places the knife to my throat.

"No more distractions!" Charlie bellows, "you will watch this!" Behind me I hear a soft thump. I don't close my eyes. I look at Dallas straight in the eyes, not a single tear falling. The knife that's held to my neck presses into my skin. Steve screams, Dallas lets out a long cry, Soda and Two-Bit pull at their restraints. Lena peels herself of of he ground and looks at me with petrified, helpless eyes. And where is Chris? Not hanging from the shelf to get one last look at me while I'm alive. Just as Charlie starts to slide the knife across my neck Christina speaks up. As she points the gun at Charlie's head, her eyes turn to fire. They are nothing less than unforgiving.

Charlie is hesitant for a moment. A moment that lasts long enough for Chris to say strongly and vengeful, "this is for my childhood." A shot is fired and it plants itself deep within Charlie's skull. Blood splatters my face and I fall limply on the ground again. Looking up at Chris, I see her stance has not weakened, she drops the gun and looks down at Charlie's dead body with no remorse. Here she is, standing in front of a dead man who took away any innocence she had left and ruined any happiness that could have been salvaged in her childhood. She has finally gotten revenge, and I have never been more proud. Chris then walks to Soda, untying his wrists. He lands on the ground swiftly, holding his bleeding bullet wound. He rips his hands from the blood and places them on Chris's jaw before placing a well deserved kiss upon her lips. I hear him mutter to her. "You're so strong."

Lena pulls herself from the floor and dashes to Steve. She unties him and he also keeps one hand on his gut as he embraces her. His free hand glides down her hair before he places it under her chin and brings his lips to hers. "Thank you," he mutters under his breath, "you did beautifully."

I pull myself over to Dallas and smile at him, blood staining my face. Some more fresh than the rest. He raises his eyebrows, revealing his sad eyes. "I'm sorry I couldn't get to you, I was so worthless," he claims remorsefully. I shake my head slowly, stopping because of the roaring headache I have.

"You're never worthless to me," I confirm. He smiles sadly and I untie his hands. Dallas throws one of my arms over his shoulder. One of his hands holds my waist, the other keeping my arm tight around his neck. I appreciate the support, since I'm not so sure I can walk on my own. I'm not even sure how Dallas is walking. The bullet wound just above his knee is bleeding all down his jeans. Steve kneels in front of Two-But and unties him.

"Hey buddy," Two-Bit greets him, his voice muddled my the blood rising in his throat.

"Hey man," Steve replies smiling slightly as he unties his hands.

"I've got a hole in my shoulder," Two reminds Steve, who chuckles.

"I've got one to match on my gut," Steve claims. The two boys laugh weakly and help each other up. Lena looks at Two happily.

"Thanks for helping me out with the flammable can product," Lena thanks Kieth. Two-Bit smirks.

"I'll only ask for one kiss in return," he states. Lena laughs quietly and plants a friendly kiss on the corner of Two-Bit's lips. I look to Chris who is clearly a bit shake .

"What do we do with the body?" Soda asks, his arm over Chris's shoulders.

"Burn the son of a bitch," I spit.

"Good deal," Dallas says next to me.

It's comforting to know that now I won't have to worry as much about my safety. What's really unsettling is that Charlie knew everything about us.

How did he know Steve killed Johnny's father? How had we known the relationships we had with each other? How did he know all of our weak spots?

It makes me think of all of the good times with the gang. Was he there to?

A/N Helloooo. The wrath of Charlie has finally come to an end. Your welcome. Also once again big thanks to Sarah and Katy who push me to write whether they realize they are doing it or not. Also, if you have any problems with the editing in this story, tell me so I can be lazy and let Katy edit it when she's bored while I eat some chips and watch Friends re-runs.

Stay gold💛
