"The king is back" I heard cole's deep voice, a thud sound followed indicating that he dropped his office bag

"Cole pick up your bag"my mom shouted ,I placed the last glass tumbler on the table mat ,

Before coming down to help my mom I took a shower and changed into dads shirt that i stole from the laundry and jake's Calvin Klein boxer briefs mom got for him ,i took one from the pack before she gave him.weird flex

"Jake will pick it"his voice getting louder which indicated that he was coming towards the dining

"Hey mo..." he kept shut as his gaze landed on my standing figure

"Oh" he muttered under his breath,in a boring tune

"Oh?" I questioned

"You see me ,and the first thing you say is oh like I'm a coincidence ?" Could this day get any better ,after dad now him .just great; maybe I'm being dramatic ,who wouldn't

"What did you want me to say ,I didn't expect to see you home"he threw his suit jacket on the couch ,mom glared at him ,he gave her a tight smile and quickly picked it up

"Says the person that called dad" his eyes bulged and quickly glanced at my moms direction which indicated our mom didn't know

"Called dad about what honey?" My mother asked looking confused ,she grabbed a table napkin and folded it

"Uh ,he was the one who called dad to know when I was coming back"she laughed a little

"Don't mind your brother it's just stress you know ,your dad is retiring soon so your brother has to learn to take care of things" my mom said going back to the kitchen to get the food

Cole looked at me again ,and I maintained my blank face

"I'm sorry Amila ,I didn't think he was actually going to send you back" he ranted,he let out exasperated sigh

"Yeah ,right"I walked out ,I actually didn't have a reason too ,it's just part of being dramatic ,he caught a hold of my wrist

I shoved him and made my way up the stairs

"The fuck?" He whispered but I heard it,okay I think I just pissed him off one thing you should know about Cole is that he is a no nonsense person ,he has a thing for respect like serious respect .

"Get your ugly ass right here"he stated sternly ,I rolled my eyes before turning back .jeez I hate boys

"Alright,I'm sorry shouldn't have been disrespectful" I apologized with a bored face

"Good girl now give this handsome bro a big hug"I eyed him a little,handsome my ass

He shook his head with a smile and started going up the stairs ,he abruptly turned "wait isn't that dads shirt"

"Whatttt!,dad ?what? Of course not" I feigned surprised placing my hand on my chest,he chuckled and walked up the stairs "what ever helps you sleep at night princess!"he shouted ,I chortled and went back to assist my mom.

"What do we have here" Cole rubbed his palms together,just as he was about to open the warmer dad cleared his voice "oh right"he quickly withdrew his arms.
He sat at the table top ,l lowered my gaze because  I didn't want to make any eye contact with him.that would be weird

Mom came in holding a bowl of salad and began serving food to my dad,then she served Cole, just when she was about to place the beef soup in my plate.dads voice rang

"Don't" the word came out through his teeth it was as if he was trying control his anger ,his jaw clenched

"But hone..."my mom tried to protest

"I said don't fucking serve her"he snapped  his fist banged the table ,the sound of cutleries hitting the ceramic wares echoed his action caused  my mom to flinch, causing her to mistakenly twist the spoon ,the burning sensation of the hot liquid pouring on my exposed thighs

"Ouch!!!" I whispered yelled ,abruptly standing up,that shit was hot ,my thighs  were already Turning pink

"Shut the fuck up" this time he stood up ,oh no

"No ,no dad don't leave I'll just go up,you can sit and eat" I vigorously shook my head,he sat back,I felt tears prick my eyes but I didn't let it come  out

I just feel like the universe hates me ,almost raped ,getting injured,quit my dream job,coming back and now my dad

I slowly carried my body up the stairs with slumped shoulders ,the thought of not eating that delicious food made me feel very sad ,I just felt like crying,I fell flat on my back watching the fluffy chandelier on my ceiling.

FaceTime video from jasboo ,red heart,two circling hearts,wilted rose,sunflower....

Siri's voice brought me out of my depressing thoughts ,I quickly sat up trying to find the phone lost in my comforter, it stopped ringing and it started after a few seconds,I found it close to my pillow,she was requesting a FaceTime video

When I looked at my face on the camera I saw tears,I quickly wiped them and accepted,after a few seconds her face appeared

"My bitch!"jasmine shouted,she appeared a bit shaky  and blurry I heard shufflings

"Hey!"I also shouted

"Sorry I was trying to put my AirPods on ,you can't be trusted"

"Ha! ,says the person that said bitch just now"

"Whatever,guess what?"she said now I could only see her forehead ,eyebrows and eyes, a male voice was talking in the background

"No it's just Amila"
"Yeah ,you wanna say hi"

She was probably talking to the person,she handed the phone to her 12 year old nephew, Caleb who has a huge crush on me

"Hey Amila"He said shyly,his cheeks turning pink.omg he is so cute,I chuckled

Jasmines face appeared again,this time she was eating fries ,she made my hungry  stomach growl

"Mehn ,that boy is something else"we both burst into laughter

"Where you at?"i asked

"Oh I just landed so they came to pick me up ,so we stopped at McDonald's because there was no food at home and my parents travelled for a funeral ceremony"

"Oh,at least we will meet before school resumes"

"Yep,I heard Ariana grande was going on a world tour and she will be coming here next Saturday I was wondering if you would come cause I'm buying tickets tomorrow"

I was back to my laying position when  I heard a knock on my door

"Come in!!"i yelled

The  door squeaked a little and my eldest brothers head popped with with  a smile before pushing the door completely open,he held a tray of food,I quickly stood up and went over to him ,I collected the tray and dropped it on my work station table

"Kalmin!!"I jumped on my brother making him lose his balance

"Omg I missed you so much"

"I missed you too bull dog" he struggled to say whilst laughing

"Oh sorry" I smiled sheepishly and got of him

"Where are my babies"referring to my cute little nephews ,yeah this family is just filled with boys

"No worries they will be coming for dinner with their mom later"

"Oh right Jenna went to the game with them"

"Yep" he said popping the p and sitting on my bed

"Come on let's go to the living room I have new anime's for you"

"Really!" Yep you guessed right I'm an anime freak ,well basically because all my brothers watch anime so I had to watch.

The bright light from the ring lights above the dinning table made everyone's face glow,we were all seated eating dinner ,everyone talking about what is currently going on in their lives.

I was seated in between Eric and Jax ,as they shoved all their vegetables to my plate making it look like I'm vegetarian,both of them constantly pulling me down to whisper something into my ear

"You know last week Jax put moms car key inside the toilet and flushed it"
Eric whispered in my ear

"Really" my eyes widened ,he nodded and took a bite of his chicken

"And when mom asked ,he said babe mistakenly travelled with it,so now mom is waiting for babe to  give her the keys" it's really funny how they call their dad babe because their mom calls him babe so they assumed that was how they should address him

"OMG" I whispered back

"I know right , I feel sorry for babe"

"Aww poor Babe"

We giggled and fist bumped

Oh yeah I'm literally their second mom well I'm their aunt but excuse I was there when they gave birth to them ,okay that wasn't true I was in school but I came back a few months after .
