My brother stood by door and to say I was just surprised would be a lie ,I was happy to see him ,his eyes moved from me to Alex and the look he shot at him made me cringe for him but as it is Alex didn't even move

"Cole?"I asked in complete shock trying to let myself down ,Alex used his hand to assist me as my feet came in contact with the carpeted floor .cole hugged me and helped me to the couch .the door closed I turned to see if Alex was there but he was nowhere to seen ,he must have left but I didn't get to thank him and say goodbye how rude of me  .my brother knelt in front of me his hands on my shoulder "Amila  where have you been ?,and what were you doing with him ?,why was he carrying you ?,and who injured you?"he stated with all seriousness and worry
I let out a laugh "nowhere just went site seeing" the seriousness on his face made my smile drop.i sighed

"Fine,something happened last night and it's not what you think"I quickly said before he starts thinking I did something bad

"Tell me about it"he adjusted himself so he could be comfortable ,all attention was on me nobody said a word as they were all awaiting my response .i sighed again,this is going to be hard

"Kylie get her a glass of water"my brother ordered she quickly exited to get it ,he knew me to well God and I can't even lie even if I want to cause it will worsen the situation,my brothers are the only people that make me feel so small always protective and possessive

The glass was handed to me ,she looked nervous,but why? I didn't ask so I smiled and collected the glass .after taking two sips I handed the glass back to her ,my brothers gaze never leaving mine , I shifted uncomfortably "well okay so basically I was drugged" his eyes grew darker which indicated he was getting furious, I knew  what he was thinking "not by Alex though"jasmine sighed ,my gaze shifted to her ,I wanted to laugh but decided against it because it wasn't the best the time so I just gave her a quick smile "last night the girls wanted us to have fun and of course I didn't get drunk ,a guy approached me and we 'talked' for some time"I used my hand to gesture the emphasis on talked because that's basically all we did .right?

"So I guess he spited my apple juice"and I told them all I could remember until I found myself in Alex's room

"Yeah and i woke to find myself on a bed in a large room and yep that's how I saw Alex and slapped him because I thought he was the same guy" everyone laughed at my last statement but my brother ,his expression was unchanged .

"I'm going to find that fucker" he said whilst standing up
"Do you see the irresponsible friends you have,if you hadn't gone to that club this wouldn't have happened and I'm very sure you didn't want to go but I'm sure jasmine forced you"I looked over at jasmine and she had tears in her eyes ,shit ,one thing that can get to her is when she's blamed for something she didn't do "she...she ..didn't.."

"Shut up Amila you can't even take care of yourself what happened to the don't talk to strangers thing huh,you feel like you all grown right ? Independent shit and all yeah"his words made me furious why do they all think I'm small

"I don't think I've grown ,I'm old enough to decide for myself"

"And you decided to get raped"

"What the actual fuck COLE!"I said what was wrong with him I knew this would happen he is the second oldest in the house and he always acts like he is our dad.its annoying sometimes yet people open their mouth to say girls jump into conclusions without thinking
"What If Alex hadn't come would you have been here shouting what the actual fuck ,would you?"

"Why don't you drop it since it didn't happen" I shouted back

"I'm telling dad ,now I see why He didn't want you to be a traveler or live alone with your friends  ,but because we always thought he wasn't being a good father by  not letting you chase your dreams ,now I  see why ,this has to stop and you are going back home soon" that was the last thing he said before leaving. I sank on the couch the tears painfully falling.

why?,

why did this have to happen?,

why did he have to come today?,

I had my cry out, a good, long cry; and when much weeping had dulled the edge of my discomfiture I began to reflect that all was not yet lost.

After Amila's brother helped get to the chair I decided to drop her things and leave but a girl wearing an army green tank top with hazel eyes pointed at a door ,indicating I should keep her stuff there ,after dropping it I decided to leave immediately but a frame on her work station caught my attention not that it was any of my business but I was curious so I took it and it was a picture of a cute young girl with blue eyes she had a purple dress and her hair was packed into two pigtails she was adorable ,she was seated in between a man who looked like he was in his early thirties with blue eyes in a grey shirt and a beautiful young lady beside him holding a baby ,three boys were standing beside the the woman ,this was probably her family portrait she was the only girl apart from the lady which I believe is her mom she got her blue eyes from her father .wow

I carefully placed it back to where I picked it ,because I didn't want to be seen as though I'm invading her privacy .the moment I opened the door I heard her brothers voice

"I'm telling dad ,now I see why He didn't want you to be a traveler or live alone with your friends but because,we always thought he wasn't being a good father by  not letting you chase your dreams ,now I see why ,this has to stop and you are going back home soon"was what he said and a few seconds later the door banged a tud sound  came and I heard someone's cries I walked Into the living room and all her friends looked sad ,one of them had tears on her face .but Amila was on the couch her face buried in her palms her body shaking with intense tears,the feeling of being there and comforting her rushed over me ,
I walked to where she was seated and gently pulled her hand away from her face then pulled her into a comforting embrace,I didn't know the reason for her tears but from what I heard I knew it was related to what her brother had just said, her body  shook as She hiccuped,my hands drawing circles around her back in a comforting manner .

After a while her hands went around my torso and her body relaxed,her warm breath was the only thing I could feel on my neck ,I continued drawing circles on her back until she calmed down.this wasn't how I expected my day to be and a lot has happened in less than 24 hours ,she raised her head from my shoulder and used her hands to wipe her tears ,

I felt sad upon seeing her puffy red eyes "I'm sorry"she said her voice was cracked ,I signaled for the glass of water on the table and the hazel eyed girl passed it to me ."here" I handed her the glass,after she finished drinking the water she kept the glass on the table "Alex I'm really sorry you had you see me like this" her words were shaky "it's fine,you must be tired  ,you should get some rest" I said giving her a small smile "yeah"

"Shit happens huh?"I said trying to lighten her mood

"Yeah it does"she chortled and sighed .God she is so beautiful

"Come on let's get you in bed you've cried enough for one day ,I need to go" she nodded and i lifted her up and took her to her room her friends following closely

After she was comfortable I pulled the blankets and covered her "hey what ever it is ,it will get better and you will be fine"I said

"Thank you so much Alex"she replied whilst letting out a yawn

"Anytime,bye" I said when I got to the door

"Bye"she said back ,I smiled at her friends and quickly left to go meet max ,that  fool  is probably dealing with a hangover .i quickly dialed his number after two rings he picked

"Where are you"I asked

"My room where else you dummy" he said with a strain in his voice

"Shut up ,I'm coming"

"Okay"he replied and hanged up
