"Dude it's going to be worth it"

max said beside me I turned to look at him , he tried To convince to come for some drinks and let go of the stress from working too much, I obliged too make him happy because he left his work to come accompany me to a meeting with a business rival and he was a bit bored ,which I understood because he was an extrovert and he enjoys exploration as he said when we travel for business we don't really travel for business,it didn't really make sense but I understood what he meant, I didn't trust the idea of getting drunk before attending a business meeting mainly because of the side effects alcohol has on people,I had managed to reduce my intake in my early 20's

"you are really dumb I wonder what girls see in you"he glared at me and pushed a drunk girl  that threw herself on me to the side as we passed the dance floor .yikes and sat by the bar "two cups of tequila with extra olives please "he said
"Coming right up sir"Leo as I read on his name tag ,the bartender said giving max a fake salute I rolled my eyes
I gave him a curt nod as a sign of acknowledgment

The drinks came after a while I took a sip and turned to max who was busy trying to convince me to call my dad and accept the offer "dude you should go back"

"No!"

"Why you have lots of cash waiting for you I can't believe you left that much money"

"If only you know how annoying you are, I told you countless times I won't go back there just to work with Jayson , this partnership Shit offer is dumb"

" why did you leave in the first place"

"I fucking despise that guy ,my mom suggested i accept it ,dude do you know how messed up it will be" max hummed

"I think you should, also it will be a way to learn his way off handling his business, even though he acts like a moron sometimes but it's good to take some risks and try new things,think about your customers not your personal beef"

"But I don't trust him"

"Take a chill man,it's something you will benefit from and I'm sure your lawyers will give the terms and conditions for the partnership so he won't try anything"
I looked at him and sighed

"If your dad thinks it's the best thing then why not and you do know that your dad made you famous"he said max has known me since we were kids ,my father always finds a way to convince max to make me do what he wants.
I took a sip of my drink and glanced at the place many people were dancing, few were talking some girls looking our way and giggling.i sighed I don't know why max enjoys coming to such places

I turned to the left and I saw a girl seated at the end of the bar alone I turned to see her face well but she stood up she looked pale and her steps weren't balanced maybe she's drunk then she stumbled through a double door at the corner, I don't know why I felt the need to talk too her, even though that could be dumb cause most people come here as couples or with friends, I don't want any possessive guy to come and attack me for approaching his girl.

After much deliberation and concluded that if she was here with someone she wouldn't be walking without any help or maybe everyone was drunk, deciding not to overthink I decided to go check.

Max tapped me "dude are you listening" I turned to him standing up from my seat "yeah yeah I'll be right back I need to use the restroom"

"Alright man I'll be here"

"Yeah whatever"i said walking towards the exit she took that's when I heard some voices it  sounded feminine and like the person was crying  and pleading oh no .i increased my pace and quickly entered and that's when I saw the same girl on the wall and a guy touching her .she was crying "please please let go of me"she said her voice was so low and she sounded helpless  her skirt was on the floor ,I would have thought it was something else if not the fact that she was crying and begging .this son of a basket was trying to rape her I quickly walked towards them and yanked  the guy off her "what the hell"he  yelled  when he fell on the floor "shut up"
I said punching him he groaned , he looked at me angrily his eyes was red,is he high or something
then he kicked me and I staggered back then he got up and attempted to punch me but I beat him to it and punched again then I pushed him to the wall very hard he groaned when I punched him and again and again then  pushed him to the ground  he was bleeding and he screamed when he landed on the ground and I kicked him in his abdomen "you disgusting piece of shit"I kicked him again until he passed out.
I moved back ,I was breathing heavily I was angry , it pissed the hell out of me seeing such a disgusting act ,men like him are so retarded like what's wrong with people  I turned, the lady was laying on the floor her breathing was shallow "are you okay" I asked she opened her eyes .they were blue .the fuck her eyes are beautiful ,hers was a different shade of blue  brighter at the same time darker than mine I held her face and she closed her eyes again,she looked pale and drawn "can you hear me?"there was no response I think she passed out  i pulled her skirt back up and picked her up she wasn't heavy nor was she light weighted  she was just right she had some strands of hair that fell over her face ,I pushed it back she is so beautiful who ever should have her must be so lucky. But at the same time stupid for leaving their girl ,I don't even know why I assumed she was here with someone,they must be really dumb.

I walked into the bar again the music was now louder than before ;i hate this place I tried to see if she came with anyone but if she did ,she wouldn't  be seated alone or drugged and almost raped or maybe she came with her friends but shouldn't they be together .it doesn't matter she just needs to be out of this place.

I went to check on max but he wasn't there anymore this dude has to be kidding me I turned to check for him and saw him dancing with brunette now I know why he never dated a girl for long,  I can't be holding her like this walking  around a club so I went outside unlocked my rented two seat car and put her in the backseat I turned on the car and  put on  the air conditioner to an average temperature I took of my jacket and covered her with it ,the weather was chilly then went back into the club I don't have any information about her or where she stays .perhaps she came with a purse or bag so I went back to same place I found her and saw her purse on the floor I saw that piece of shit still laying on the floor he still hasn't regained consciousness I picked her purse up and kicked him again then I went back now max was kissing the same brunette lady,dimwit
I walked towards him and tapped him "dude I'm leaving"
"Yeah go ahead ,have a great night Finally getting laid huh?"
I don't know why but his choices of words sometimes angered me but this one made me furious I pulled him by his collar my eyes  when down to slits and gave him a deadly look "repeat what you said"the brunette was now looking at me her mouth gaping she rubbed her eye with her fingers I'm used to this I ignored her when max said

"Come on Alex calm down I was just..."

i looked at him again my breathing becoming heavier I was getting agitated with each second passing in this place "one more wrong word and I swear I wouldn't mind trashing two people in one night"
"I'm sorry man, I don't why you are acting up"

"I'm leaving"I repeated

"Calm down,alright ,alright you can leave without me ,I'll call my driver  I am not leaving such a beautiful lady like her" he smiled at her

" fuck you"I said

"Thank you and make sure you go for the meeting tomorrow "

"Whatever ,goodnight"

"Oh the night is good"he said turning back to the lady I quickly exited the building and entered my car I opened her purse to see if I can get any information about her I saw her phone a skittle pack half eaten ,hand moisturizer,lip balm,small perfume,and some money notes I checked her phone saw notifications one from momma, ami how are you

handsome bro,hey little sister it's been long I'm missing you .
family ,(cole ) haha mom is a drama queen amila where are you come and defend your brother

Mr boss,  I'm waiting .

I quickly put her phone back this is wrong reading her messages without permission but i did it for her own good .now what ?,it didn't even help.
I started the car and drove out of the parking lot.

I retrieved my key card from my back  pocket,bending a little low so I can place the card on the lock because she was in my arms it made a click sound and the green light blinked I opened the door and entered the room I used the back of my foot to push the door close ,i walked towards the bed, the room was dark only a little light from the window I tripped when I got close to the bed when I stepped on something which made me fall on the bed with her in my arms ,ahh shut this is weird i struggled to get up because her body weight was on my hand ,I made an effort to move again only to fall back on her my face and hers was an inch away ,my lips were hovering over hers, I felt my neck heat up ,our proximity was nerve wrecking,this isn't right ,i used my knee to gain balance then I gently slid my arms out .i let out a sigh of relief ,I got up and removed my shoes then turned the bedside lamp on , my box  was obstructing the way goddamn box , She wasn't laying in a comfortable way so I adjusted her laying position so she was sleeping on her right arm then decided to take her shoes off .she had vans on. who wears vans to the club I chuckled and shook my head .cute

Her skirt was a bit  above her knee so I pulled it down a little then packed her hair into a bun because it didn't look comfortable,I understood how girls hate it when their hair gets tangled when they wake up ,when my hand came in contact with the soft , silky hair ,it reminded me if my mother when I use to pack and comb her hair like  this every night before she goes to sleep .

My phone started ringing in my pocket I checked to see who was calling.Dad. I sighed and got up ,not before covering her with the blanket
"Yes father"

"Son good evening to you too"

"Dad what is it now"I growled

"Are you going for the meeting with Jayson will tomorrow"I sighed

"We both know I don't want this partnership to happen"

"Please son his father is a good friend of mine"

"I thought there was no bringing of personal life to the business world and that father is not professional"

"Listen son just do this for me,for your mother if not me"

"I'll think about it "

"Think fast son,your assistant will send you all the required information and the time of the meeting,goodnight son"

"Okay,goodnight"

"I love you"my dad said and started laughing

"Stop being weird"I was also laughing

"I love you too old man"I hanged up the phone,still smiling standing looking like a fool until I remembered the task at hand .

I ran my hands through my hair and turned to the girl whose name I assume is amila if it's correct from her messages .

I took a quick shower and wore my shorts then created a barrier on the bed to avoid anything cause I can't sleep on the floor or the coffee chair I switched the lights off and fell asleep with the image of her beautiful blue eyes

So we have finally met the famous Alex Johnson
