Saturday 15th April

Buzz Buzz.

A  groan left my mouth when I heard my alarm,My eyes slowing fluttered open ,everything was blur for a while before it became clear ,my gaze first landed on the plain fluorescent light that was turned off last night ,it was at the middle of my white ceiling  just above my bed ,I Lazily sat  up from my laying position as a yawn left my mouth ,my already unkept looking hair fell over my face , as some stubborn strands rested on my cheeks over my eyes ,i blew out some air to get the strands off my face but they just move forward and come back to my face I knew I had sleep marks on my face but it's not like I'm waking up to a handsome man beside i highly doubt that ,in my wildest dreams though I do .

Is it just me but this is the most cliché way of starting a story, eyes fluttering to bright sun rays obviously going to be a good day because I mean some authors are quite predictable,so regardless I'm just going to go with the flow. Alright enough mind speech now go on

I lazily pushed my hair back and packed it in a messy ponytail ,and let out a sigh then pulled off the blankets from my body,picking my glasses from the nightstand I Proceeded to start my day .today was just one of those days where you don't want to do anything . but I felt  like I haven't seen my friends in a long time
So I went straight to the bathroom took a quick glance at my self in the mirror and just got my toothbrush and brushed my teeth then did the normal routine and took  my bath ,I decided to Get dressed wearing a baby pink  sweatshirt with a black jeans and my black vans,  Then grabbed my bag and left the apartment,  , school closed yesterday for summer holiday meaning I don't really need to worry much about getting somewhere early , I waved at the little boy standing by the entrance he offered me his candy as usual I declined and pinched his cheek , Then walked  to Starbucks since it wasn't far from where I  temporarily lived ,
the sweet smell of coffee hit my nose immediately I walked into the shop,  I smiled at Jenny and ordered the usual,Jenny was a nice girl she is my age mate and we hangout sometimes when she's not busy or have a sleepover when she closes late .

after collecting my coffee  I took a cab to Nina's .

my phone was vibrating in my bag i checked who it was ,it was the love of my life calling .
" girlfriend!"A smile found it's way to my face upon hearing my mothers sweet voice

YOU HAVE TO ADMIT I GOT YOU AT THE BEGINNING .

"Hey momma"

" ami love how are? How is school and work ?,do you miss me ?,when are you coming back?" She asked all the questions at once, I  could picture how breathless she is after talking that fast.

"I'm good mom,school is stressful but hey i can still breathe ,I was thinking upper week but I don't know yet ,how are you? I miss you so much"

" shut up how won't you miss my beautiful self I mean I'm happy that you aren't here the boys are all busy so I get to restore my beauty I'm resting well"

"MOMMA!"

" I'm kidding I miss my angel so much I hope I see you then "I heard her laugh

"Ma How is papa I haven't spoken to him for months ,mom why is he upset"she was silent

"Ami"she called I heard some shuffles "yes ma"

" i need to get your dads breakfast I'll call you later okay"she changed the topic but I decided to let it be

"Okay ma bye I love you"

"Take care love bye" she hanged up and I sighed I miss home but I don't miss dads cold shoulders and she was avoiding the topic.

Standing outside Nina's building after paying the taxi man ,dang times when I wish I could drive, I wouldn't have to pay for taxis or bus cards ,  I saw kylie and Jasmine's car parked i knew it was going to be fun ...

"Hey!! Amila its been a while" jess said as I walked into the living room

"Hey jessyyy " I said with a short enthusiasm
"Oooouuu ooooouuu"the other girls chorused, the theme song of a Disney series Jesse ,we started laughing.

"Amila..." Jess said  Feigned being hurt and I laughed at her Silly behavior
" I told you to stop calling me that, I hate it" I began to laugh as I felt someone's hand on my shoulder I turned a little frightened

"Ami!" I heard a scream  it was Kylie "BITCH where have you been" I squealed  and  hugged her "shut up Ami you know I've been living my best life"Kylie said in a sing song form

"Shut up Kylie" jess said rolling her eyes

"Jess"I said and we all began to laugh as jasmine came in with Nina holding two bags of candy .

I wonder what they are going to do with this bags of sugar

"Hey amila how you I was just thinking of calling to invite you over"jasmine said

" I'm here now so tell me what are going to do today its been long ......you know ,school got me busy and work " I said

"Haven't spoken to you since ..."I cleared my throat giving her a knowing look and winked

"Shut the f up amila" I started laughing when she blushed

" what happened" Kylie said

"NOTHING!" we both replied quickly ,it was that time you use when someone didn't hear you and you actually didn't want them too

"O...Kay if you say so". She said giving us a suspicious look

"So ladies are you gonna stand all day ,sit down " nina said it's good that she changed the subject .
We all sat down
Kylie's phone started ringing so she excused herself to answer the phone call

Minutes later

"What " we heard Kylie say

"Uhmm girls I need to go I'll meet you guys at the studio...okay?"

"Yeah okay bye Kylie" we all said
As the front door closed

" so amila are those guys still disturbing you about the whole dating and crushing stuff " jess Asked

" yeah and its getting on my nerves really they are all the same love at first text as usual it's so annoying  I feel like I'm never going to find the right person ,remember that Swiss guy he was even proposing to me on a video call"I said and the all started laughing and sighed

"Is it the blonde dude"

"Yes him"
" don't worry ami you'll find him soon"yeah right as if "well I have a date with Nielsen" Nina says
"Oooow sounds like somebody is gonna ....." Jess says we all laugh as Nina leaves the the room.

"So what were you planning to do with the bags of candy " I ask making myself comfortable

"Ohh Nina and I were going to visit the magazine editor Nina works for but I guess we are going to cancel the meeting but the sweets are for a photo shot jess ,Nina and Kylie were going for " jasmine says

"Ohh wow" so a photo shoot I see

"Ami"

"Huh ...?" I turned my head

"Would you like to come with"jasmine says

"Sure I would love to"  I grabbed my bag before we left for the photo shot.

We all left for the shoot jasmine and I watching,after watching them and moving around for two hours it was finally over.

Sunday 16th April
10:07am
I woke up feeling so energized before I could do anything my phone started vibrating "Hello ,good morning Amila speaking here" I wonder why I'm being formal

"Yes madam I'm James dinfer I'm calling from the the skyhigh airlines your tickets are ready and you will be departing five days from now ,I emailed the remaining details but your boss asked to call for more confirmation " the man says through the phone.

"Thank you" and ended the call ,ohh another trip I thought I was done for the season oh well , I picked my phone up and dialed my bosses number after a few rings he picks up

"Good morning Mr.pearson"

"Good morning amila, has the agent called you?"

"Yes sir but I thought I was done for the season"

"Yes I thought so too but you know it just be like that sometimes". I chuckled this man is something else

"it's part of being a traveler come on stop acting as if your job is difficult"he said

"Sorry,so where am I of to now?"

"Norway"

"Ohh so what's the work"

"You are to visit their few of their states and hotels and you are making a videography on the places and I'll email you the the information and yeah you are to send some history and about of each of them but don't worry I'll tell jasmine to do that"

"Alright Mr Pearson I'll be waiting have a nice Sunday sir"

"You too"then he hanged up

After packing my bags and the compulsory I picked up My phone to tell them about the trip

Kylie ~~* I thought you were done for the season?

Jasmine ~~* we all thought we were but anyways ami have you started packing?

Me~~ *yeah almost done just bring me your microphone and lights

Jess~~* Norway

Me~~*😂😂shut up jess

Jess~~* ami I'm f**king serious .airline?

Me~~*skyhigh

Jess~~*bye I have some bookings to make

Kylie~~*me too

Jasmine ~~*alright I see how srs you all are ,we leave in five days so bye

Me~~* bye

7:48pm

After all the packing and  organising I sat down to relax then I started thinking all this while I've seen people with their happy endings and  all the pressure people put on me to get a guy well I wouldn't just choose any guy that comes into my life most of them aren't even real I mean we only chat for a few days and they claim to love me I mean who does that I got so lost in my thoughts not knowing the sun is down I stood up to take a shower and made dinner replied a few messages and continued watching Lucifer after that I switched my lights off and slept

Friday 20th may
8:16pm
it was finally the day I was living so I put all my belongings in the car and left for the airport I texted them saying"on my way see you " .

By the time I arrived at the airport I checked in and headed to the waiting area as I walked in I saw them then we said our Hello's, had coffee talked a little then it was announced that it was time to board our flight we showed our boarding passes and went to our seats it was really sad to know that I was at the back alone and the others were together but hey we are staying together when we arrive its just for some few hours I'll survive.

Two hours passed and I couldn't sit I watched three movies,listened to music and I just can't seat here without moving my legs so I grabbed my phone and headphones. By the time I got to the toilet I didn't lock the door but I closed it I had this fear of locking the door in case something bad happens so I put on my headphones and played a shake it off by Taylor Swift

" i stay out to late..... that's what people say mmm ..mmm .....cause a players gonna play,play,play.."I was singing looking at myself in the little mirror having a fake attitude like I was talking to someone,   I didn't realize the door was opened and someone was standing there my heart started beating fast something twisted in my stomach more like something dropped,y'all know that feeling when you're scared at the occurrence of a situation and my breath seized for a little ,I almost lost my balance when my phone slipped out of my hand.
