As I opened my eyes from a glorious night of sleep, Michael was standing at the doorway. "Rise and shine." Michael said. I stretched and realized I was the last one to wake up once again. "Good morning girls. You've been sleeping for awhile. Now that all of you are awake, why don't you head down for breakfast." Michael said. He walked away leave me to think he should've said more. "Why for some reason I think we have school? You think he put us in a new school yet." Kayla asked. "Well we don't know. We're in a new state now. And I don't know any schools in California." I said as I walked to the bathroom. "Maybe we can look up different schools and their ratings and see which one we could get accepted to." Destiny said.

"That's a good idea but what if Michael already have a school for us to go to already. He probably have everything planned out." I said. They didn't say nothing. You never know what he might be planning.

After we cleaned ourselves, we head downstairs. When we made it, we were lost. We couldn't find the kitchen. "Did you guys remember where the kitchen was?" Kayla asked. I shook my head. We just stood by the front door waiting for someone to help us. We didn't want to yell for help because we're inside a house. Finally 30 seconds later, Kelly came. "What's wrong girls?" She asked. "We would like to know where the kitchen is. May you please show us?" I asked. "Right this way."

We followed Kelly to the kitchen that was far back in the house. "Wow that was a good hiking trip." Kayla laughed. As we walked in the kitchen we spotted a woman that we never knew or saw. "Intruder! Michael!" I yelled. "Oh don't worry Mariyah. She's family. This is your new mother. Naomi." Michael said. Oh no I feel embarrassed. Calling my mother an intruder. "Do I get punished for calling my mother an intruder?" I cried.

"What....no it's my fault I never introduced you to her. Yesterday she went modeling on a tour. I wanted it to be a surprise." Michael laughed. So I have a mother and a father.

Naomi set us up at the table. The food looks delicious. I looks better than what we ate at the orphanage. I was ready to dig in but Destiny hit my hand. Oh yea how would I forget my prayer. I was so hungry. We folded our hands and bowed our heads. Michael and Naomi joined in as well.

"Amen." We said. "Dig in." Naomi said. I didn't know what to eat first. The bacon, the eggs or the pancake. As I was thinking, everyone was about done. Well of course I gobbled it all up. "Honey slow done please. You might choke." Michael said.

"No....imichotchoke"

"What?" Michael was confused at what I said due to the food in my mouth. I finally swallowed my food. "Sorry. I eat fast. I was born that way." I laughed. Michael was a bit relieved but worried.

After we finish cleaning off the table Kayla said we should take a tour around the house. We should get to know the house like a person. We started from the first floor and work our way up. Once again we were lost. Luckily a little spiral stair that was in some room lead us downstairs close to the living room.

"Where did you girls go?" Naomi asked. "We were exploring the house but then we got lost." Kayla laughed. "Well okay. So what do you girls want to do?" She asked. I really want to go out but what will people think of us?

"Maybe we could go somewhere I guess." I wasn't sure Destiny will like would I said so I turned to her. Her face was calm. She didn't look like she wanted to disagree with me. Maybe that whole rumor thing is off her mind. For now.
