It was only a few days later when everything went to shit.

Bucky and I were sitting in the area around some shops when it happened, everyone started panicking.

Bucky and I both shot to our paws, "What the hell is going on?" Bucky questioned, looking around. Everyone was running and screaming.

That was just before robots started flooding the streets.

"I'm going to get the cache, keep them busy!" Bucky ordered me, running towards the church.

I turned towards the robots, I hoped the Avengers were on the way. I charged toward the robots.

It couldn't have been five minutes later when everything got even worse.

The ground started to rumble and shake violently, that was just before the ground beneath us started to soar above the trees surrounding the town.

The robots weren't as phased by this development as I was.

I was snatched up by my scruff.

The robot put a hand around my neck before its head exploded. I was dropped gracelessly to the ground.

I looked in the direction the shot came from.

Bucky was standing there in full gear with his pistol raised.

"The others are trying to guard the church, they know we're here. Try to get the people to safety, I'll cover you," he ordered.

I nodded, watching as he started scaling up the side of a nearby building.

I started off in the direction of the more populated shopping center.

I found Clint there, "Nobody would know, nobody. 'The last I saw him, when Ultron was sitting on him. Uh...yeah, he'll be missed, that quick little bastard'," he was muttering. He seemed frustrated.

I barked at him.

Clint looked at me quickly with his bow drawn, he lowered it when he recognized me, "Cap, I've got eyes on Sam," he informed into the com.

He looked past me, "I've got eyes on Barnes too, they're in the shopping center," he said.

Clint seemed taken aback for a moment, "Barnes, do I even want to know how you got on this frequency?"

Clint rolled his eyes, "Yeah, yeah, I'm going,".

He looked down at me, "I've got to get to Cap, I'll see you back home," he told me before turning and heading back in the direction he had been heading.
