Eric's pov

As I searched throughout the village a Prince came galloping through.

"Halt!" I yelled.

The horse quickly came to a halt.

"Did you need something?"
A tall blonde haired guy with the most intriguing green eyes said to me.

"What are you here for?"
I asked politely after bowing in the presence of royalty.

"I am Prince Jayden, here for her royal highness Princess Rosella.
We are betrothed.
Her father had sent for me many months ago.
I've spent weeks traveling to meet her here.
We met once long ago as kids and have been betrothed ever since.
Her father wants my kingdom's wealth and my father wants this kingdom's land.
So we shall unite once and for all through this marriage."

My mind went crazy.
She's dealing with so much right now and I don't really think being put into another forced marriage is really a good idea.
Sigh, sadly it was not for me to say anything against it.

"I will bring you to her."

What was I supposed to say?
I hope you find her?
She's missing!
I'd explain on the way back to my house.

Jayden's pov

As this ugh, commoner filled me in on everything that had happened I saw the glimmer in his eyes as he talked about the princess.
She must've been a real beauty. Thoughts filled my head as we soon arrived at the commoner's house.
As he opened to the door I didn't see anyone.
Then we walked through to the bedroom.
I saw the most beautiful girl in the world lying asleep on an old bed.

"That's the princess?!"
I asked purely shocked and amazed.

"Yes, that's her.
Beautiful isn't she?"
He looked at her with loving eyes.

"More than I would've ever dreamed."
I watched her sleep, marveling at her beauty.
That's my princess.
Mine.
I'm betrothed to the most beautiful girl on the planet.

Rose's pov

I wake up from my slumber.
I see Eric and an unfamiliar face.

"Who are you?"
I ask.

The man simply states,
"I am Jayden, and you are betrothed to me."

I look at Eric frightened.
"Betrothed?!
No please!
Not again!"
I run into Eric's arms.
"Don't let me go with him!
I want to stay here, with you!
Please don't make me go with you!
I stay hugging Eric.
"Please don't make me!"
I begged.
