They Lived Happily Ever-

Romeo's P.O.V

It's been about 24 hours since Eden locked me up in this prison cell. I didn't mind though, it gave me a chance to reflect on what I've done. Eden was right, I did backstab her, I did hurt her too much, but that's just what happened. I've been hurting people for too long, like Fred, and Xara. I sighed, regretting my decisions, I didn't want to kill Fred, but, my brother Kedar said to because... what was that? I just heard a noise, who's here?

Back to 3rd person point of view

Eden ran over to Romeo's cell, and quickly opened it. Romeo got up, but he didn't even have any time to walk towards her. Eden was too quick for him, and she jumped and latched her arms around his neck, and gave him a big hug. Romeo was pushed back, and landed on his bed and laid against the wall. Eden was silent, and just hugged him.

Romeo looked up at her friends who stood outside of the prison cell for an answer, but they all just shrugged unsure. Romeo blinked a couple times in realization, but then looked at Eden, and hugged her back. The two just hugged for a while, and no one moved or said anything. Lukas began to tense up a bit being overprotective, but Petra just rolled her eyes and elbowed Lukas signaling him to calm down.

Eden began to cry in guilt, made no eye contact, and said, "Romeo, I'm so sorry. I don't know what I was thinking, I-I wasn't thinking, and I hope you can forgive me."

Romeo looked at the ground guiltier than Eden, then pinned her arms against her sides, then placed her standing up in front of him, then he stood up. Eden stared at him confused, but with tears clouding her vision. "Eden, I don't know why you're apologizing. I'm the one who should be, and I will. Eden I'm truly sorry for hurting you, and not just you, everyone. And anything you could've done to me never would have compared to what I actually deserve," Romeo apologized.

"That's for sure," Axel commented.

Everyone looked at Axel offended, and Olivia even smacked his arm. Romeo didn't care what he said, and once again said, "Eden, I hope one day you can forgive me."

Eden wiped the tears out of her eyes, smiling, then hugged him quickly again and stated, "I already have."

They smiled and stared at each other for a moment, and to the others, they totally thought they were gonna kiss. Some of the others were already prepared for it because Petra was covering her eyes, Jesse turned around, while Axel gagged and looked like he was about ready to throw up, and Olivia was jumping up and down fangirling. They weren't going to, but everyone else expected it. Especially Lukas, because after maybe 10 seconds of this going, Lukas spoke up, saying, "O.K then... Um... Eden, the doctor said he wanted to see you after you woke up."

Eden looked at Lukas, and nodded her head saying ok, then looked back at Romeo, and said, "Come on Romeo, you can come with us."

She grabbed Romeo's hand, and the two walked to the hospital. Lukas growled before realizing everyone was leaving do to his incompetence. Lukas sighed, then followed everyone outside.

After everyone got to the hospital, the doctor made them all sit in the waiting room. With Romeo sitting down and everyone standing up and away from him, Romeo sighed, and rested his chin on his hand as his elbow was on the arm rest of the chair. His face directed away from everyone else's judging stares.

Eden sat in the hospital bed, and the doctor came around and took off all the band aids wrapped on her head, and then checked it. He used a X-ray to make sure nothing was to damaged, again, just in case. But as he looked, his face became confused, and Eden noticed this. "What's wrong sir?" she asked concerned.

"Um..." he hesitated, "it appears that something in your brain has been, um... fixed?"

"What?" Eden questioned.

"Yes, before your coma, did you ever have headaches?" he asked, going onto his computer to look something up.

"Yeah, I would get them a lot," Eden stated.

"Well, it says here that as a child your head was extremely lop sided with a big dent in it, and it was something that happened in your mother's womb, and it seems it has been fixed after your recent um... fight. And if I'm right, the spot that had been damaged isn't even found in a normal humans brain. It's connected to your sight, memories, and your hands. Wait!" The doctor explained then gasping, "may I take a look at your hands through a microscope?"

"Um... I guess-" "Great!" The doctor said pumped up.

He got a microscope down from his covered, and took Eden's hand, and placed it under the microscope. "Ah! Just as I expected, your fingers have small suction cups on them! Do you know what this means miss?" The Doctor asked.

"Uh... no?" Eden questioned.

"Miss, I believe you can see people's memories and thoughts, try it on me," the doctor explained, grabbing her pointer finger and placing it on the side of his forehead.

Eden gave him a weird look, but then everything around her became fuzzy and white, and she looked into the doctors eyes, and she got sucked into them. After a second, she could see a house; she walked in and as she was in there, saw a small boy playing with a dog named George. And then a mother came in and gave the boy a cookie as the father picked him up and everyone laughed and played. Everything zoomed back out. Eden gasped and breathed heavy terrified.

The doctor quickly apologized for being so quick, but Eden then went wide eyed. "That was..." Eden hesitated, "AWESOME!!! Doctor was that you who was the little boy?"

"Yes it was, and the strange thing is that I could see you there," The Doctor confirmed.

"Cool, I got to show my friends!" Eden stated running out of the room ecstatically.

The doctor stared at her with happy grin, this was truly fascinating. Then the doctor began to write the report on Eden's document.

Eden slammed the door open in excitement, and Lukas went toward her. "What happened?" he asked.

Though Lukas was the closest to her, Eden ran right past him, and went right towards Romeo. "Romeo! I just found out I have super powers!" Eden yelled in his face like a child.

"Super... Powers?" Romeo questioned.

"What are you talking about?" Axel asked becoming interesting in what she was rambling on about.

"The doctor told me that when I hit my head that, I actually fixed something unique in my brain, and now I can see people's memories and thoughts when I touch the side of their head!" Eden explained super excited.

"Really?" Olivia questioned.

"Yeah, watch this," Eden said walking closer to Romeo to touch his head, but he smacked her hand out of the way.

"What's wrong?" Eden questioned unsure on why he just hit her.

Romeo just stared at her blankly, and it clicked for her that his life is, and was... traumatic. "I know I shouldn't, but please Romeo?" Eden pleaded.

"I'm sorry, but no..." Romeo told her.

Things almost became awkward, until Jesse offered, "You can do it on me."

"Ok," Eden replied directing her attention to him.

"Will it hurt?" Jesse asked concerned.

"No, not at all," Eden assured.

Jesse stared at Eden, and Eden stared back into his green eyes. She put her hand up to the side of his head, and Eden was sucked into his eyes. When she was in there, she saw Jesse in front of all his friends with a flaming butt. After that was over, he stood up, and that's when Petra kissed Jesse on the cheek. And the last thing she saw was Jesse fall over into a puddle. Then she saw Jesse blushing, and she walked over to him. "Wait, so I can communicate with you through your mind?" she asked.

"I guess so..." Jesse stated a little embarrassed, "but don't remind anyone again of this memory."

"That was a memory, so it actually happened!?!" Eden gasped smiling.

"Sssshhhhhhhzzzzaaa! They could still hear us!" Jesse yelled, then Eden was kicked out of his conscious.

"Could you guys hear us?" was Jesse's immediate response to what just happened.

"Hear what?" Romeo questioned.

"Few..." Jesse breathed a sigh of relief.

"What's it like?" Petra asked going up to Jesse.

"It's so strange, Eden's like sucked into my brain, what's it like on the outside?" Jesse queried.

"It was honestly kind of creepy, your guy's eyes went completely white, and you just stood there," Olivia stated.

"Cool," Jack commented.

"Yeah, cool!" Eden screamed pumping her fist up in the air.

"How are you so happy through all of this, you just came out of a hospital from cracking your head open, after being an Admin from getting hit with the gauntlet, by fighting me!" Romeo kind of yelled being a pessimistic little biscuit.

"Even though this has all been so crappy, it's still been an adventure. I met great friends, been able to fly, and it's not too bad because you've forgiven me for being so cruel, and I've forgiven you. So I guess you could say... forgive and forget," Eden explained still being super happy and looking at her hands.

"Forgive... and forget?" Romeo repeated unsure.

Then everyone crowded around Eden so they could test her new abilities out, and in the back Romeo whispered, "I'll never forgive Kedar for what he did."

Later that night, as everyone was in bed, there was only one who was not asleep, Eden. She was thinking too much to sleep, what on earth did Romeo do that he wouldn't let Eden see. The question puzzled Eden for hours, and eventually she gave up resisting, and went to Romeo. Romeo was in the other room beside Lukas's; Lukas wanted to keep an eye on him. Eden crept down the hallway and made it to his room, luckily he was asleep. He had no emotion on his face, so Eden decided this was a good time to check on him. She put her finger on the side of his face, and a second or two later, she bursted into tears. She began to weep extremely hard, and she struggled for a moment to release her finger from his head. Romeo also woke up, and looked at Eden. She went onto her knees crying, and Romeo got down beside her and hugged her, still with no emotion. After a minute or so, Eden asked, "how can you live like this? With... those memories?"

Romeo rested his head on hers, and she cried into his chest. "You get used to it..." he said expression less, "besides, I told you not to see inside my mind."

"I'm sorry..." Eden whispered, but was able to stop crying.

"Don't be," he stated, grabbing onto her chin and making her look up at him, "it's not your fault in any way, I knew you were curious, and I also know that you hate seeing other people sad. I should've been more careful."

After that, the gang came rushing in. (Ivor lives somewhere else, and Harper went back home. Also, Jack and Nurm have their own place.)

"Huh? What's going on?" Petra asked, quickly coming into the room first with miss butter, but pretty dazed. (She found Miss Butter lying on the floor earlier as everyone was heading to the hospital)

"You guys ok?" Jesse asked pushing past the extremely tired Petra.

Eden sniffed a little, trying not to make it look like she had been crying, and answered, "Y-yeah, we're fine."

Lukas came in, and quickly pulled Eden away from Romeo thinking somehow this was all his fault, but said nothing. "Come on, Eden, let's get you to bed," Lukas stated, sounding like a parent.

Everyone else kind of stared at Romeo for some kind of explanation. Romeo looked a bit shocked as Lukas walked out of the room with Eden, then back up at Eden's friends. He sighed, and then got off his knees, and went back into bed as everyone else left the room. "Jesse..." Petra hesitated.

"Yeah Petra?" Jesse replied.

"How *yawns* how are you so awake?" Petra questioned.

"Well, when we first became hero's I've trained my body to wake up quickly," Jesse explained normally walking down the hallway.

"How do you do that?" Petra asked.

"I set my alarm for 12 A.M. 3 A.M. and 5 A.M. and I've done this for about 8 months now," Jesse said going into his room. (This does not actually work, I'm just making this up)

Petra looked at him strange, but shrugged and went to bed.

Anyway, after Lukas had escorted Eden to her room, she wouldn't go to sleep. "Eden, come on, just try to sleep," Lukas begged, sleep was something she really needed.

Eden didn't respond, she just looked out her window as the breezed of the fresh air brushed on her face, and she just stared at the moon all depressed. "What happened anyway?" Lukas questioned, walking up to her.

Lukas walked up to her and hugged her the same way as Romeo did, but she refused it and then went over and sat on her bed. "I shouldn't say, goodnight Lukas," she stated, pulling the covers over herself.

Lukas once again, just stared quietly at her, and was about to let her get her way again. But something in Lukas just couldn't take this rejection anymore. "Why aren't we friends anymore?" he asked sadly.

Eden got up and looked at him questionably, but then looked down at the ground knowing what he was talking about. "It seems as if you like Romeo more than me, and I don't mind that to much, but I just don't understand because didn't Romeo trick you and try to kill you?" Lukas accused, but he was kind of right.

There was silence for a minute, and then out of nowhere, Eden got angry, and yelled, "Well maybe I like Romeo more because he actually APOLOGIZED!!!"

Eden then hid under the protection of her covers away from Lukas and her emotions. Lukas stared at her shocked, not hurt, just shocked. "Apologize? Is that was this is all about, if you wanted that, you could've just asked?" Lukas stated, walking over and sitting on her bed.

Lukas put his hand on Eden's back and rubbed it soothingly, and Eden got up. She sat beside him, and he wrapped his arm around her. Eden rested her head on his shoulder and sighed in a way that sounded like she was about to cry. "I didn't feel like I needed to ask, like it was obvious," Eden hesitated, making it sound like she was gonna insult him, but she didn't.

"But, I should have realized that you only thought you were protecting me, and I didn't say anything about how I felt like a prisoner, well... except for that one time," Eden reminisced.

The two sat there for a while, but Eden then looked up at Lukas and stated, "You still haven't apologized."

"Right sorry... Eden... I'm sorry for keeping you locked up here; it wasn't ok for me to do that. You're your own person and you're strong," Lukas finally apologized.

Eden moved her head closer to Lukas's and said, "Apology accepted."

"Really?" he gasped, that was fast.

"Yeah, didn't you see how fast I forgave Romeo?" I questioned.

"Well, yes, but... didn't you like, almost kill him or something? I kind of felt you would feel guilty enough to forgive him," Lukas stuttered.

"Well yes, I did try to kill him, but that was when I was filled with hate. I already knew this, but... everyone deserves a second chance, and even then, no one deserves to die, or be beaten, everyone should be loved and treated the same. Just because someone's different because of their past doesn't mean they need to be punished for it," Eden explained spreading her wisdom all over Lukas.

"Why do you think like that?" Lukas questioned, it was great, but no one else really would have forgiven Romeo.

"God forgives all right? God loves all his children no matter what happens, and even if bad things happened, it makes you stronger, and I want to live like that. Everyone wants love, it's just, some people don't want to show it," Eden stated, standing up and taking Lukas with her.

"Where are we going?" Lukas asked hesitant.

"I want to show you something," Eden replied, pulling him out the window a little.

Eden grabbed onto the edge of the roof, and pulled herself up as Lukas followed. After they were on top of the roof, Eden sat Lukas down and she sat by him, and the two saw the Admin's palace, it was still standing since it was solid, and it was glowing out throughout the night. "Wow, this is beautiful!" Lukas exclaimed.

"I know right, first time I saw this I was filled so much anger and frustration that I wasn't able to appreciate its magnificent," Eden stated.

The two were quiet as they admired the palace, until Lukas looked over to Eden, and asked, "Eden, could you look into my mind?"

"What? Why?" Eden questioned, who wants someone to look inside there brain, "I don't know, after doing it with Romeo, it was depressing."

"Please?" Lukas asked, grabbing Eden's hand.

"Ok... I guess," Eden submitted, then put her hand on the side of his head.

Eden stared into Lukas's blue eyes, and then she was sucked into them. But as she was in there, everything seemed so... familiar. While she was in there, she realized she was hearing the same music as before, and everything was white and fuzzy, and she was in a white dress. She looked around, and then she saw the mysterious figure. But this time they weren't dark, it was Lukas. "Lukas!?!" Eden gasped, that's who was there before.

"Yeah?" he questioned.

"When I was knocked out, did I somehow touch the side of your head?" Eden asked.

Lukas looked at her, then closed his eyes and focused, and the room around her changed. She saw herself, she was in her bed with a giant bandaid wrapped around her head. She then saw Lukas standing beside her, then he grabbed her hand and placed it on the side of his head in a comforting way. Then Lukas's eyes went white, and then he was silent and a minute or so later, he pulled his hand back a bit freaked out.

After that happened, the scene around her change, and there stood the real Lukas. "Lukas?" Eden communicated, "you were the one that I danced with when I was knocked out."

Lukas smiled at her innocently with a grin on his face, Eden then smiled at him back. Then she said, "Want to dance again?"

"Sure," Lukas replied.

Lukas focused hard, and the nice white fuzzy room came back and Eden was in a white dress, and the music returned. The two danced to the music again, and laughed and had a great time. After maybe 5 minutes, you could tell Eden was getting a bit of a headache from being in someone else's head and Eden was pulled out of his conscious. "That was fun," Eden sang a little, as she then scooted closer to Lukas.

"Yeah, it was," Lukas agreed then leaning against Eden.

A little while later, Eden yawned, and the two figured it was time for bed. "Thanks Lukas, for being so compassionate," Eden thanked as the two went back into the room through the window.

"I just want to keep you safe..." Lukas stated, "But I guess you don't need me anymore since the Admin's gone."

"Lukas, I may not need you to protect me anymore, but I will always need you there as a friend," Eden explained grabbing onto his hand.

The two hugged again, and Lukas left the room saying, "Goodnight Eden."

"Night Lukas," Eden returned, going to bed with a smile.

Lukas gently shut her door, he sighed and whispered, "she'll always need me as a friend."

After that, Lukas walked down the hallway, and into his room. "What a traumatic night," everyone thought, slowly drifting off to sleep.

Next Morning

Everyone woke up feeling normal; things seemed to be back to normal. Eden woke up the most happy out of everyone, and she was up first. She walked around the base to see everyone going on with a normal day, Lukas was writing, and saw her and smiled at her, she smiled back and continued. Axel and Olivia were arguing, typical. Eden then went to find Jesse and Petra and Jesse was writing a letter in his office, and Petra was kind of hovering over his shoulder wondering who it was for. Eden also wanted to know, so she went up and joined them. "What'cha doing Jesse?" Eden asked, hovering over Jesse with Petra.

"Fine, if you two must know, I'm writing a letter to my cousin, Jessie," Jesse explained, making Petra and Eden confused.

"You have a cousin named Jessie?" Eden questioned.

"Yeah, my aunt had a kid the same time as my mom did, and they both really liked the name Jesse, so when my aunt had a girl, and mom had me, they figured it'd be fun to name the two of Jesse," Jesse explained.

"Cool," Petra commented.

"Sir, si- I mean Jesse!" Radar yelled running into the room with a letter in his hand.

"Yeah Radar?" Jesse stopped writing to look up at his assistant, who mind you, has been hiding this whole time.

"Aiden's here, he said he wants to apologize," Radar stated.

"Well, it's about time," Jesse mumbled under his breath.

Eden stood on Jesse's right, and Petra on his left, Radar stood a little in front of the desk, and Jesse sat in his chair, so they looked totally badapple. (sorry, I don't like cussing)

Aiden walked into the large room a little nervous looking, but then worked up the courage to go up to Jesse's desk. "Hey Jesse..." Aiden hesitated.

"Hello, Aiden," Jesse said in a proper matter.

"I'm assuming your serv- assistant here told you why I'm here," Aiden guessed.

Radar glared at Aiden knowing what he almost said, but it really didn't threaten anyone. "I just wanted to say sorry for... everything, for being such a jerk, and stealing the enchanted flint and steal," he admitted awkwardly.

Eden had no idea what he was talking about, but Jesse, Radar, and Petra all seemed very angry about it. Eden could tell that Aiden was sorry for everything, and wanted to help his chances. So she silently went behind him, looking to Aiden as if she was gonna walk out the door. Aiden directed his attention back to Jesse, and waited for his response. Jesse looked to Petra and Radar for their opinions, and they both shook their heads no. Jesse sighed, and looked back at Aiden, only to see Eden behind Aiden up pleading to forgive him.

Eden smiled hopefully, and Jesse smiled at her for a minute, then sighed and looked down, and looked at Aiden. "Fine, Aiden, I forgive you," Jesse rolled his eyes.

Aiden grinned, and then ran up to Jesse and shook his hand extremely quickly. "Thank you thank you thank you, I promise I'll make it up to you!" he yelled a little.

Jesse pulled his hand back a little weirded out, but said, "That won't be necessary, besides, you already helped us return Eden back to normal."

Eden and Aiden both smiled at Jesse thankful, but Jesse mostly did it for Eden. After that, Radar informed, "also, Jesse, you got a letter from someone with the initials W.P."

Radar gave Jesse the letter, and his skin turned white at those initials. "W.P. like White Pumpkin? What does she want?" Petra questioned.

Jesse pulled the letter out and it read out loud, "Coward, You couldn't face me so you left. Come get me out of this place, I hate it here. This is all your fault."

"Who's the White Pumpkin?" Eden questioned kind of scaring Aiden because he thought she had left.

"She was in our last adventure with the... flint and steal..." Petra explained hesitating as Radar, Jesse, and her all glared at Aiden, "And we ended up in this place covered with Zombies."

"Why's she so scary?" Eden asked, because obviously she was terrifying enough to scare Jesse.

"She killed a couple of people and locked us up in her home for a day or so," Petra stated seeming un-affected by the memory.

"Obviously she got one of her cats to deliver the letter at the last minute, a while back I had Axel break the portal so no one would go in, and more importantly come out," Jesse said setting the letter off to the side.

"So your deliberately keeping her there until she dies?" Eden gasped a bit at this cruelty.

"Well, yeah..." Jesse hesitated, starting to regret a little, a little.

"I'll do it!" Aiden announced.

"Do what?" Radar questioned.

"I'll go get this White Pumpkin, to show how sorry I am," Aiden declared.

"Um..." Jesse and Petra hesitated looking at each other.

"I don't think that's such a good idea," Jesse stated being reasonable.

"Why not, do you not trust me?" Aiden asked, offended.

"No, I can tell you're being serious by the amount time you've spent making an idiot of yourself, but it's just, Cassie's home is surrounded by Zombies, and she might uh... kill you," Jesse explained, actually trying to protect Aiden.

"Thanks for the sympathy, but I can do it!" Aiden announced.

"You sure, Aiden?" Petra wanted to check.

"Yes, I'm sure," Aiden said sincere.

Aiden turned to get prepared, but Jesse said, "Aiden, here..."

Aiden turned back, and Jesse stared him down, but then he signaled Aiden to follow him. He did, and so did everyone else and they all went to the treasure room. Jesse grabbed the enchanted flint and steel just in case, but before handing it to Aiden, he got up real close and personal and said, "Don't you dare lose this..."

Petra, Eden, and Radar all looked at each other almost as scared as Aiden, and then looked at the ground awkwardly, and Radar even whistled. Aiden rapidly shook his head to show him he understood, and Jesse shoved the flint and steel against his chest violently, and Aiden clumsily grabbed it. Aiden smiled at Jesse, then at everyone else, then ran out to get prepared and away from Jesse. "Don't you think that was a little harsh?" Eden questioned, crossing her arms.

"If he loses that, or even worse, Cassie gets to it, we'll all be dead before we wake tomorrow," Jesse stated, then walked back to his desk.

Eden looked at Petra, but then shrugged it off and went to pack her stuff; she was finally going back to her house to repair it. As she went to her room, she passed Romeo's, but noticed he was in there packing up stuff. Eden was confused, then went in and asked, "What are you doing, Romeo?"

"I can't stay here," he stated, taking out a couple of his belongings and putting them into a chest for safe keeping.

"Sure you can, why do you think Jesse's letting you live here?" Eden questioned.

"It's not that, I can't stay here because I'm just hiding from Xara and my brother, I need to go out and face my actions," Romeo explained, walking out.

You would expect Eden to stop him, but she knew this was for the best. "If you're gonna go," Eden stated, "at least take this."

Eden handed Romeo her diamond sharpness lll enchanted sword and said, "It's something you'll remember me by."

Romeo looked at the sword, then at her and told her, "I can't take that from you."

"You're not taking it," she stated, putting it in his hand, "It's a gift."

Romeo looked at the sword again, then put it in his inventory and gave her a hug. "Don't die on me Romeo, ok?" Eden requested.

"Let me guess, if I die, you'll kill me?" Romeo chuckled.

"Exactly," Eden smiled, putting her hands on her hips and smiling.

Romeo walked out of the house, with Eden following, and through town. Once they got to the edge of the town, Romeo turned to Eden and said goodbye. Eden said bye also, and then Romeo turned to the open over world, and then walked off.

Eden smiled hopefully, and waved after him until he disappeared into the forest.

Everyone thing around them started to fade a little bit, and then the two seemed to be being veiwed through a pool of water.

"Sir!" a guy about 24 years old yelled.

"Yes?" A guy with red hair and goatee appears in a room underground and a pool.

"Romeo's leaving Beacon Town," The guy stated.

"Finally," the red haired man whispered, "show me where she is, Romeo, then I'll come after you too."

"Keda- Sir," the 24 year old hesitated.

"Yes, Steve," Kedar growled, "what is it?"

"Will you be letting me and Alex go now?" he asked hopeful.

"No!" Kedar yelled, "you'll be staying here until I get my hands on Xara and Romeo, now, I must go and prepare myself."

Steve sighed in disappointment, and continued to watch the pool. "Prepare yourself Romeo," Kedar whispered, "It's time you pay for what you've done."

The End

(A:N: So, hope you enjoyed this book even though it was slow and boring, but I'll be posting the sequel soon and I promise you it's more enjoyable to read with mysteries, adventure, and love. I'm still one of the main characters in it, but the story's more revolved around Romeo and his quest. Bye and I hope you managed to read this book without cringing! :))
