After 2 months

Review

My family left to do other things, I'm still in my room, and it's been 2 weeks since I've been outside the new record. I have to ask to go outside of my room, and when they say yes, one of them comes with me. A month ago I learned to walk and run and stand yay. But some old friends are coming up to say hi on their way to the beach for their vacation, the Smith's (not there actually the last name, but they do exist). Also, at random moments I end up fainting, so Lukas always panics when that happens. And finally, I'm bored!

"What to do today," I said to myself pacing my room for the 3rd time today.

"I could read another book that Lukas gave me?" I thought, "Nah."

There was a knock at my door, and I quickly scrambled to get, I was always excited to get interrupted by my own thoughts by a human. "Hi Petra," I greeted her with a smile.

"Hey Eden, want to talk until your friends get here," Petra asked.

"What? Since when do you just want to talk?" I questioned.

"Lukas told me to since everyone else is busy," she grumped.

"Well, at least you're honest," I stated as I let her into my room.

We both sat on my bed and there was no conversation going on between us. "So, um... excited to see your friends?" she hesitated.

"Um... yes,' I replied.

"That's nice, who are they?" she asked.

That question made me perk up a bit, I always loved hanging out with them as kids, the Smith's had a son my name who I mentioned earlier, Danial. "Well, their last name is Smith. The mother and father's names are Marry and Ronald, the oldest is named Samantha, there second oldest is a boy my age named Danial, the third is a girl named Emily, the fourth, Cindy, and the last, Melody," I answered.

"Wow, five kids, that's a lot, I could never have that many kids," she commented.

"Well, if you ever find a husband," I stated.

"Why do say that like it's impossible for me to find a husband," Petra asked annoyed.

"Sorry, let me rephrase that, when you admit you like that guy and you two get married," I smirked.

"What guy?" she said offended.

"Oh, you know, buff, harry, adventurous, goes by the name Jack," I smiled at her.

"I don't like Jack" she denied with a bit of pink on her cheek.

"Em hm..." I replied.

"Says the one who can't admit they like someone either" Petra defended.

"What? What are you talking about," I peered at her with beady eyes.

"Oh, you know, skinny, has nice hair, dorky, goes by the name Lukas," Petra said smiling at me.

"Excuse me? What have I ever done to make you think that?" I asked.

Petra was about to say something until Radar ran into my room busting the door open. "Eden, your friends have arrived," he announced as he gasped for air afterward.

"Saved by the nerd!" I yelled throwing my hands up in the air running out of the room stumbling from weak legs.

Petra and Radar both glared at me as I ran, but then began following me.

I jogged out, then began to slowly stroll my way to the main room, and I as I entered the treasure room, I saw the familiar faces of my childhood friends. I gave them a smile and walked closer, but as I did, I saw Danial. He fricken had a full on mustache, and he looked... tall. "Hey!" I yelled a bit as walked over to hug them. They all looked at me and smiled, but then Emily said, "Eden, we heard you just got out of a coma, are you ok?" "I'm fine," I replied, "ever since I've been awake, I can't sleep, but I've been more obligated to do things and be productive."

"Well that's great, I'm glad you're ok, and you've grown up so much," Mary, the mom, smiled.

"So, what's it been like living down here in Beacon town, and without your family," Ronald quarried.

"It's been... normal," I answered with hesitation because all I've been doing is sitting around in a room. "Actually," I was about to explain my living condition until Lukas came in.

"Eden, are you ok? I heard your friends were here and I had to make sure the Admin didn't sneak i-"he stopped himself, and he caught a glimpse of Danial, and the Smith's.

I stared at him awkwardly, until Ronald coughed, and I snapped out of my daze. "Hey Lukas, I'd like you to meet my friends, the Smith's," I introduced.

He didn't say anything but came up so I could begin with the introductions. "Ok, so this is Ronald and Mary," I said gesturing over to them.

"Hello," said Ronald.

"Nice to meet you," Mary grinned.

"And this is Emily," "Hey!" "Cindy," Heyo," "and... Melody?" I asked in shock, last time I saw her she was like, 5.

"Hey," she smiled in delight.

"Um... where's Samantha?" I asked.

"Oh, she had work," Mary answered.

"Oh," I then continued, "and last but not least, Danial!"

Lukas looked at Danial, a bit hesitant, but it was funny how much Danial had grown because he was much taller than me, and Lukas. I think Lukas was intimidated.

"Don't worry Lukas, I don't care how tall you are," I said at random.

"W-what?" Lukas questioned, but I think he was just in shock that I knew what he was thinking.

"Anyway, how about we go into the living room, we could talk about the things I've missed," I suggested as everyone inched over that way.

But before I could follow, something, or should I say, someone, grabbed my shoulder and whispered into my ear, it was Lukas.

"Eden, I don't trust your friend," he grumbled.

"What?" I asked pulling his hand off me.

"I mean, I'm just getting bad vibes from him, what if he's the Admin in disguise, trying to get to you again," he worried.

"That's ridiculous, the Admin wouldn't even know about Daniel until now, its fine," I assured.

"Ok..." Lukas glared.

I rolled my eyes at his concern, even though I knew he was just trying to be nice, lately, it was starting to get annoying. I brushed him off and walked over to the sitting.

Ok, so the couches are positioned so two people can sit on each one. There were four of them all placed in a square so everyone can talk to each other. Of course, Ronald and Mary sat on one, and then Cindy and Melody sat on another. So, Lukas sat on one, and he looked at me as if he was waiting for me to sit by him until he was surprised when Emily jumped on the cushion beside him. I gave Emily a weird look, but I ended up sitting by Danial. I was fine with that, but Lukas seemed to have a different opinion. He began to glare at Danial, I think he still didn't trust him, but then shook his head as if he was trying to pull himself out of something.

"Ok then, so how have things been going," I tried to break into small talk.

"The same," Danial spoke quickly and awkwardly.

"Well, this is going very well," I thought with an uncomfortable smile plastered across my face.

"Well, Eden, remember when you and Danial use to play with each other all the time as kids?" Ronald remembered.

"Oh ya, for the longest time as we got older I considered Danial my 'best' friend at school," I joked, "what about you Danial, last time I saw you; you said you didn't remember hanging out with me at all."

"Sorry, I was just saying that cause I was worried it would make me look pathetic, but now that we're older, I wish I had stayed in touch with you," he apologized then putting his arm on the back part of my seat.

From a distance it looked like he was resting his arm on my shoulders. I thought nothing of it until I felt shifted eyes staring at me. I looked over and Lukas still seemed to be off, "wow, he really thinks Danial is the Admin."

After a couple more minutes, I started to feel dazed. "Uh oh, I might pass out," I thought remembering back to all the times I had, which was quite frequently.

"Uh guys..." I tried to signal everyone. Everyone looked at me, and before I could say anything, I began to fall over, fainting.

"Quick, grab her before she hits her head!!!" Lukas screamed a little more aggressive than needed, though if I hit my head to hard again I could end up going back into a coma.

Danial took action, or more or less, I landed on his lap. He put his hand under my hand, and didn't know what else to do. Lukas got up to move me to my bed, but for some reason Danial felt obligated to carry me himself. Lukas didn't like that idea, but let it slide. "Be careful!" Lukas would yell aggravated every time Danial's arms got tired at the weight of me.

Danial laid me gently down on my bed, as Lukas glared at him, making him nervous. After a second, Danail asked, "Lukas, are you dating Eden?"

"No," Lukas confirmed in a harsh kind of way.

"I was just wondering, cause you seem to care a lot about her," Danial wondered.

"Well you would too if you knew what she went through," Lukas stated glaring out into the distance of the one window in my room.

"What did she go through?" Danial questioned.

"Well, for starters..." Lukas began.

After along explanation, Danial went silent in shock. A couple minutes later, Danail said, "maybe she should leave Beacon Town for a while, it seems really dangerous here."

"What?" Lukas asked annoyed.

"You know, get out of the place where some creepy dude is stalking her," Danial saying it in a way where it was really obvious.

"She, is not, going, anywhere," Lukas sneered.

"She needs get far away from here," Danial tried to persuade him.

"No," Lukas demanded.

After a couple of minutes, Danial went over to me and picked me up. "What are you doing? I said no!" Lukas yelled annoyed.

"And she's her own person, she needs to explore and adventure by herself," Danial stated about to walk out of the room with me.

"I can't let you do that," Lukas said maneuvering over to the door then pulling out his sword, "Admin."

Danial put me back into my bed and asked, "Admin? Can't we just talk this over?"

"Ever since I saw you, I figured it was you. It was so obvious that you were the Admin and now you trying to take her out of the only safe place she has," Lukas accused.

"Calm down, this is getting out of hand," Danial demanded backing up a bit thinking Lukas was going crazy.

"Get out..." Lukas demanded sternly.

"Get out? Why?" Danial questioned.

"I can't risk you taking her away from me, Admin," Lukas explained drawing his sword up to Danial's throat.

There was silence, except for Lukas's death glare telling Danial to leave. After a little, out of panic, Danial punched Lukas's sword out of his hands, and went to run and warn his family that this guy was crazy. Lukas lost it and dove after him and started attacking, and of course Danial fought back defending himself. The two wrestled on the ground, and before Lukas could pick up his sword, I woke up.

It was all a bit of a daze, but the minute I saw Lukas and Danial, I immediately grabbed them and picked them up with as much strength I could. They both stopped and stared at me, then taking a few quick glares at each other. "What the heck is going on here!?!" I yelled like a mother wanting to know what was wrong.

"Your friend here is insane!" Danial accused Lukas.

"Eden, he's the Admin, he was trying to take you away from m- your safe place!" Lukas yelled in defense.

I quickly looked over to Danial in wonder, and no, I did not believe that he was the Admin. "I was just trying to protect you from whoever attacked you, but now I'm wondering if I should protect you from him," Danial judged.

The two pushed me aside and leaned their foreheads together and gave each other glares. "Stop it! Both of you!" I yelled.

They looked at me, and then Danial stated, "I'm going, and I'm taking my family with me. Eden I don't know why you're letting this psycho protect you, it seems to me you need protection from him."

He left the room swiftly, while Lukas stared at the ground frustrated and angry. "Lukas, what were you thinking," I demanded to know.

There was silence, and as Lukas looked away from me he mumbled, "I was wrong to let you have guests over."

"What?" I asked confused.

"Eden, from now on, you're staying in your room 24/7, my friends will bring you food and whatever you may need, but you are not to leave here," he stated leaving the room.

"Lukas! You can't do this to me; you have no right to keep me in here like, like a prisoner!" I explained forcefully.

"I'm sorry Eden," he said slamming the door.

I quickly ran towards the door before he could lock it, but I was too late. The door made a click, and my future flashed before. I would spend my days in this room getting three square meals a day, and not being able to go outside.

"Lukas!!!" I screamed in anger as tears began to roll out of my eyes.

I began to sob, and I mostly never cry like this, but my future was no more. Little did I know though, that Lukas was sitting right on the other side of the door listening to me cry, trying not to do the same.
