Battling an Admin

I put the armor on myself, I felt ready. I jumped to the window, and looked behind me, stared at the ground for a moment, and left.

I ran through the woods as swiftly as my feet could carry me, and headed for the castle. It took a while, but I had become more athletic the past couple months. My feet took me to the entrance of The Admin's castle, it was time. I grabbed out the sword, and let it drag behind me as I entered. The doors were huge, but I managed to push them aside. "Romeo!!!" I called out for him to begin our battle.

There was silence for a moment until I saw a throne in the shadows with a body sitting on it. Romeo opened his eyes, then floated towards me. "I see you're prepared, but wait, this armor isn't yours. It's quite nice of Jesse to lend you it," Romeo mocked, knowing I had stolen them.

"Quite the small talk, you know why I'm here," I glared at The Admin and waited for him to do something.

"Fine, so serious," he answered in a whiny, and slightly scary voice.

He flicked his wrist, and we ended up by a portal, he went into, with faith that I would follow. I did, of course, and we ended up in this weird dimension. I walked the bridge he had built while he floated across, and we made it to this room. It looked like a good dueling spot until something caught my eye. It was a podium with a hand hole thing sticking out of it. I wanted to ask him about it but decided not to concern myself with it, cause I was probably about to die.

He floated to the other end of the arena as I was on the other, and he pulled out two diamond enchanted swords. "I thought you'd use your powers?" I asked, slightly confused why he'd pull out swords when he had so much power.

"Oh, believe I do intend to in time, but I wish to make this like old times," he grinned with a devious smile.

If you couldn't tell, he was referring to when I and Kedar dueled. This made me mad as heck, and I went into the most comfortable stance I could with a 10-foot long sword weighing me back. "AAAHHH!!!" I yelled giving a battle cry as I ran swiftly, full of rage, towards Romeo.

He gave me a smirk as I swung forth this mighty blade I had, but he teleported and I slashed the air. He came up behind me, and I lugged the giant sword forward but missed again. "Maybe I should've brought a smaller weapon," I thought as I began to fail at fighting.

I don't know what the point of this fight was; it was obvious it wasn't fair. After a while, Kedar finally hit me, but luckily it was just my sword. It made me stumble backward, but I just shook it off and glared at Romeo. He chuckled, but luckily that made him un-focused for a quick second, enough to give me a chance to hit him. I did, sadly he blocked it though, but he did lose his balance. I continued to slash at him, and he continued to inch backward, underestimating me was a mistake.

Kedar had trained me to fight with honor, mercy, and stability. But the reason Romeo couldn't copy what I was doing, was because I wasn't fighting the way he had trained me. I was fighting with hate, anger, and frustration, so every step I took was different and frankly kind of clumsy. He had no fricken idea what I was doing. But at this one moment, when he and I had both regained our focus, we struck at the same time. Me and him both went flying backward, him at the wall and then went into the void. He had passed out, and I realized by the time he woke up and began to fly back, it would take him a long time.

This was a good thing because I went flying back towards the podium thing I had seen earlier. I looked at it, then at the void, and before anything could happen next, I went towards the hole in the podium. I had no idea what it was, but I figured it must be important to be in a different dimension. I stuck my hand in the hole, like a fricken clueless idiot, and I pulled out a gauntlet. I looked at it strangely, but then I heard an irritated yell come from the void. I panicked to get the gauntlet off my hand, but in doing so, I accidentally punched myself. I'm sorry if I'm so clumsy sometimes, but after I had punched myself, I felt different. Like I was powerful, but at the same time kind of stressed, angry, and tired, I wasn't sure what I was feeling. My head was kind of woozy, but all I could really see was Romeo flying up towards me with a sword. His hair was messy from the wind that was created as he was falling, but oh boy, did he look ticked.

I fell over, one knowing I would not be able to beat an angry Admin, but also cause I was feeling strange. He came at me, but right before he could stab me in the heart, he hesitated. He looked at himself, than at me, seeming really... I don't even know what. I think he was telling himself not to kill me or something, cause next thing I knew; I was locked up in one of his prison cells. Of course he took the gauntlet back, but I was still tired. After all that happened, I didn't know what to think. Did Romeo care for me? Or was he going to use me as bait for Jesse and the gang? He said he was going to kill me, and he had the perfect opportunity to do it. But he didn't, I wasn't sure what to do, mostly because my hands were tied down to the floor, and I was on my knees with my head hanged in thought. Also I was messy and dirty. Was I going to rot in the cage, or was Romeo going to kill me later on, or would I escape. All I knew is that I knew nothing up to this point.

After a couple of hours, I felt very... strange. My eyes felt like they were on fire, and my hands tingled. I slowly closed my eyes thinking there might be something in them, but when I reopened them, everything was bright. Not really bright, just the dungeon looked like there was some natural lighting coming in, but no one was there, and there were no windows. I was really tired, and my eyelids felt heavy. But as I closed them to try and sleep, something in me began to rush towards my upper body, and it was exhilarating. Then all of a sudden, my body began to electrocute me, and I started to glitch out like a TV screen. My body was thrown off the ground in a big lighting storm type of way, and the chains were the only things keeping me from flying off. It was really fast, it wasn't something slow, and it hurt, like, really bad.

After maybe three seconds of this agonizing pain, I was thrown back onto the ground, and smoke literally came off my body. I hyperventilated after that shock, but something felt... powerful. I felt strong, stronger than any mortal could ever be, and I felt angry, or like I needed to hurt someone. It was creepy, but felt really awesome! I started laughing, realizing how powerful I felt, and it sounded maniacal. After that, without effort, I flicked my arms upward, and the heavy chains holding me to the floor broke with ease.

(Third P.O.V)

Romeo's eyes opened quickly as he felt scared and frightened while hearing a loud noise of breaking chains in the distance, he was confused. He was debating on checking it out, until he heard a loud boom in front of him. It was Lukas and the gang. "Romeo, where's Eden!" Lukas demanded to know.

It was obvious that Jesse was supposed to leading this adventure, but Lukas had somehow gotten in front of him. So all Jesse yelled was, "ya."

No one really responded to Jesse, so he backed down and continued to let Lukas talk. Romeo stopped panicking and turned to them with an evil grin. "So, you want your friend back? What if I told you she's no longer... here," Romeo replied, making it obvious he was trying to scare them because he did say he would kill her.

"You didn't..." Lukas asked, scared but confident.

"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't, but I guess you'll never know," Romeo said turning so his back would be facing them.

"You're hesitating, you haven't killed her yet have you," Petra stated, noticing this.

"Clever girl aren't you. Ok then, I haven't killed your precious friend, she's in my dungeon," Romeo answered.

"Give her back then," Axel demanded making it sound obvious of what The Admin needed to do.

"I will," Romeo agreed as he paused for dramatic effect, "if you can beat me."

Everyone slightly stepped back in fear for fighting an Admin wasn't easy, but they had a lead. Harper and Ivor had come back from their adventure, and they knew about the gauntlet and how to get rid of an Admin's powers. They just needed to get their hands on the gauntlet and punch Romeo a couple of times to get rid of his power.

"Oh don't worry, I'll make it fair. You can fight me along with your friends, to even the odds," Romeo gracefully offered.

"Was that really ever an option," Jesse asked, for he was already figured he'd fight along with his friends.

There was silence until Romeo snapped his fingers, and they were all teleported to The Admin's portal to the strange world he had created. After they all entered into it, Romeo teleported them all again to the same arena Eden and he had fought in before. "Let's began shall we," Romeo grinned, as he began to make the 'earth' around him shake, and then controlling a bunch of things and throwing it at the gang.

As a few of them dodged, Jesse whispered to Lukas, "Lukas, can we really take Romeo's word that he hasn't killed Eden yet?"

"No, but if Eden still is alive, I want us to try our best to rescue her," Lukas stated, then quickly after dodging a boulder that was thrown at his face.

"Jesse, you know what to do?" Olivia asked.

"Yes, just cover for me," he replied.

Sadly they were all yelling, so Romeo was curious about what they were planning until Lukas hit him with an arrow. Romeo got so irritated with him that he forgot all about Jesse and began to aim more for Lukas. Jesse was light on his feet as he got to podium with the gauntlet, then he quickly stuck his hand in it, knowing what he was doing, unlike Eden earlier. He pulled the gauntlet, and stared at it for a moment, memorized by its uniqueness. Until that is, Ivor yelled, "what are you waiting for boy, hit him!"

Jesse shook his realizing the predicament he was in, and took action. Lukas and the others had drawn Romeo closer to the ground, just enough for Jesse to strike. Jesse looked at the Admin, and then his surroundings. Quickly seeing the floating rock close to him, he jumped on it, and then jumped onto the back of Romeo. He punched The Admin in the head, and Romeo flinched and started to glitch out and fell to the ground. Some of the others cheered in excitement, seeing that the plan was working, and ran over to help Jesse. As they fell to the ground, Jesse hit Romeo in the back as he was thrown off. "Argh!" Romeo yelled in pain as he fell in static-ness and colors. Romeo was too weak to fly now, but he still had power.

Axel and Petra grabbed Romeo's feet and dragged him down to the ground, and then Lukas and Olivia grabbed his hands. As they laid him out, each giving enough strength to hold his whole body up in the air, Jesse walked closer. "Why you little-" before Romeo could finish, Harper gagged him. Ivor wrapped his arm around her, proud of her for doing that.

"This is it for you Romeo," Jesse stated in a majestic sort of way, all he needed to do now was to hit him twice, and he'd be powerless.

Jesse walked up to him and punched him in the gut. It didn't hurt too much, it's just Romeo's pride was slowly fading away, but this made him angry. Romeo somehow got the strength to escape everyone's arms and ran away.

Jesse ran after him with the gauntlet, and because Romeo wasn't paying attention, he tripped over a piece of rubble left over from the boulders smashing into the ground earlier. He landed face first by the stairs and groaned in pain for a minute. He heard the sound of Jesse's footsteps and began to crawl in fear. He sat on the stairs in a way so he could see Jesse coming, hoisting himself up each step as Jesse got closer. "You're pathetic," Ivor commented.

"Goodbye, Admin," Jesse far welled, not meaning to kill him though.

Jesse swung up his hand and quickly punched Romeo one more time, this time finally getting rid of Romeo's powers once and for all. A big light was blasted off from Romeo, signaling that his powers were gone and all the things he had created were disappearing. Yes, that was a good thing, just not at that moment. "What's happening?" Olivia asked panicked.

Romeo gasped a bit as his powers disappeared, and then mumbled, "Without my powers, there's nothing to hold this place up."

Everyone freaked out, but luckily Lukas calmed everyone down. "We need to get out of here, come on, will use the portal," Lukas signaled for everyone to follow him, and they did.

Except for Jesse, Jesse stood in front of Romeo wondering if he should bring him or not, until as he was about to help him, Petra came in. "Jesse, leave him, we can find Eden on our own, he deserves whatever is coming to him," Petra stated, obviously still angry at Romeo.

"Sorry, Romeo," Jesse apologized in a cool sort of way, as he and Petra then ran towards the portal.

As the gang ran, they came face to face with a monster prismarine man; he seemed to be losing his mind, probably because he didn't have anyone telling him what to do. "He's going to destroy the bridge!" Ivor stated in panic.

"It's not the bridge we need to worry about, it's our lives we need to protect," Harper told everyone.

Everyone looked for a way to escape until Jesse realized that he still had the gauntlet. "Everyone, I have a plan," Jesse began, "if I can land a punch of that monster, I could beat him."

They all nodded their heads in agreement, and Jesse took action. Everyone got ready to run towards the portal, and then Jesse distracted the statue. "Hey, monster!" Jesse yelled.

The statue directed his attention to the guy and then went after him. They all ran to the portal, but as everyone went in, Petra stayed behind to help Jesse. The bridge had split, and Jesse was on the opposite end, so Petra stood and waited. "Petra! The lava's gonna destroy the portal, you need to leave!" Jesse demanded.

"I'm not leaving without you!" Petra yelled back in response.

Jesse sighed in frustration; he was planning on somehow either escaping after everyone left, or dying heroically, but nope. Petra had to stay there to help him, so Jesse sped things up. He finally got to the back of the statue's head and hit the giant light that Eden had hit the first time they fought one of these things. The Prismarine Man yelled in pain, and he started to fall into the void since the floor began to break. Jesse jumped off the statue before falling into the void himself but barely missed the edge. He hung there by his hand, and his upper body strength wasn't strong enough to pull himself up.

Luckily Petra was there to help him, and she grabbed ahold of his hand and tried to pull him up. Sadly though, every time she'd almost hoist him up, the world would shake and her grip would slip. Jesse looked at Petra, then behind her to see the lava almost falling onto the portal. He looked back to his friend, and then realized what he needed to do. "I'm sorry Petra," Jesse said as he started to let go of Petra's grip. He knew even if she managed to pull him up, they'd both be stuck there and die. "What are you talking about..." Petra asked, but perfectly knowing what he was about to do.

"Goodbye, Petra," Jesse farewelled, letting go of Petra's hand.

"Jesse!?!" Petra cried out as he began to fall.

A:N: Hahahahaha, you have to wait to find out. Oh well... the reason it's a cliffhanger is because the part I wanted to post was to short, so I added more onto it, and then I realized it was too long. Soooooo I figured this would be the perfect cliffhanger. Bye!!! (P.S. Also, have a great summer! School is finally over for me, and I've said those four words so fricken MUCH, but I mean it.)
