A Past • Chapter One

Whizzer was dying. He knew that. He knew it after a week of being in the hospital. He was now currently two weeks into that hospital "stay". He sighed, he was alone right now. Trina forced Marvin to go home for at least once a week. You know, to get cleaned up? Yeah, that's part of the reason. And to eat actual food, then be condemned to eat the dammed hospital food, which Whizzer was, to his despair. As Whizzer sat in distress to this situation, Marvin was showering.

Marvin got out of the shower, wrapping himself in a towel he always used. It was, of course, cleaned everyday. At least, it was until Whizzer went to the hospital. He sighed, drying himself off. And with that, he walked into his shared bedroom and got dressed in clean clothes. He had tired eyes. Darker eye bags than normal. He went out of his room, and to the couch. He lied on it, and closed his eyes. A sigh left his mouth as he relaxed slightly. It felt wrong to not be at the hospital with Whizzer. He felt the presence of someone walking in. He felt too tired to check, so he just lied there with his eyes shut. He heard Cordelia laugh, and then walk back to Trina, who was in the kitchen. They were making something other than linguine for Marvin, since that's all he would cook if he was alone, if he even did cook. Once they were done, they left a note, this fact unknoweth to Marvin who lay unexpectedly on the couch. And with that note, was a plate to which held a sandwich. It was something simple, but it took both Cordelia and Trina to think of something small yet filling. With that, they 'snuck' out of Marvin's apartment. They hugged each other before separating, Cordelia going to her own, and Trina leaving to go see if Mendel was there with Jason so they could go to their house.
