The dream world

I was alseep in bed trying to heal from my injuries. I hate it when my 'father' came into my room and beat upon me. I saw the door open and a man walk in. I gasp in fear and swam under the bed, shaking in fear.

"Diphina, It is alright. I am not going to hurt you. The man that comes to harm you is gone. Come out so I can see you." The man said softly.

I stay quiet and under the bed. I moved slightly so I could see him and he could see me. His voice was soothing and calm but I was still scared.

"Honey. I am going to take ten steps away from the bed. I want you to come to me. I will not move until your arms are around me. Is that alright?" He asked looking at me lovingly.

"Very well." I squeaked as i moved from my hiding spot.

I look at the strange man and felt a weird attraction to him. He has snow white hair likr mine, along with grey eyes to match. I made my way to him and his smile widen with each step I took. I was finally in-front of him to place my hand o his knee. He slowly took my hand into his.

"Honey, my word look at you. You are such a big, beautiful girl. Can you wrap your arms arm me please? I want to hold you. I am going to take yo to a safe place, far away from him. Ok."

I place my hands on his shouldes and slowly move them to his neck. He stood up and his arms encircle my waist. I felt safe in his arms. He swayed us back and forth, humming a lullaby softly in my ear. I heard the door being kicked open and people screaming. One of the voices sounded like Arthur's. I felt something pull me away from the man holding me as I srceamed.

End of Dream

I was jolted awake. I felt my hand shake against my thigh. I saw tears in my king's and Megan's eyes. I felt my heart pounding in my ears. I fet Wolf lay behind in case I fell again. I look around the room in panick and realized I was on the ground in the cave. Arthur gave me a hug and a kiss on my forehead.

"Daphne, are you ok?" Arthur asked.

"What happened?" Robin asked.

"How are you feeling?" Megan asked.

"Can you stand up?" Conner asked.

 "Did you break anything?" Artemis asked. 

"Shut it and let het talk!" Roy demanded.

Me and Roy have been dating for 9 months now.  He is seriously over protected of me. I sat there quiet as the night . I  was still trying to figure out what happened. I lay down slowly, letting my head rest on Wolf's back. I closed my eyes to try to think back to the dream. I just couldn't think about it. I sat up again and take Arthur's hand, squeezing them tightly.

"I am fine my king. What happened?" I asked. 

"You were medating and I was coming in the cave to watch all of you until Black Carnay came back from her date with Green Arrow. Then you you screamed then fainted." Arthur expalined. 

"Did I say anything?" I asked confused. 

"You kept saying ok." Conner said. 

"How many times did I scream?" I asked.

"Twice. When you first fell and before you woke up." Wally explained.

"There was a nam." I whispered.

"What did he look like." Arthur asked worriedly.

"Daddy." I whispered so quietly only Conner could hear. 

"What did she say?" Megan asked looking at Conner. 

"She said 'daddy'" He answered. 

"What did he do to you." Roy asked with concern in his voice. 

"He held me. He was loving me. He rocked and sang to me. Papa what's happeneing to me." I climbed to his arms. 

I start to call him 'papa' whenever I get really scared. 

"I do not know my dear. Do not fret my child. I will help you figure it out. I promised." Annex said while holding me tightly.

"I have to speak with my mother."  I said as I got up and went to hug Roy and say my goodbyes. 

I headed for Altantis to talk to my mother. I arrived to Altantis to speak to my mother. I arrive to the little house where my mother lives and knock on the door. My mother opens the door nd smiles brightly.

"Daphne! It is so wonerful to see you!" Shee exclaims like she lawyas does when I come to visit.

"Hello mother it is wonderful to see you as well. But I am not here for pleasure." I say with a smile on my fce and hug her tightly.

"Come in please." She says as she rushes me into the house and sits down on the small lounging chair.

"So tell me what is the occasion my daughter." She asks.

"I need to ask you about my father. And I do not mean the Manta."

"Daphne. You really do not want to know what happened." Mother says.

"Please mother, I need to know. I keep having these dreams and visions and it is starting to scare me. Please tell me." I beg her, 

"Very well. But remember you wanted the truth." She says with a deep sigh.
