FAN VOTE BEGINS - LINK TO FORM
Hello everyone! I am pleased to inform you that the fan vote has begun!
I will be reading the stories and giving casual reviews, but the placements are determined strictly by fans.
That means only people familiar with your writing may vote for you. Do not go around posting on random people's message boards, and make sure to inform your fans not to try and convince random people who do not know you to vote for you. We want to keep this as fair as possible.
The vote will be conducted via Google Forms, and emails will not be collected, but you will be required to sign in to protect from vote spam so it's not just the same person voting over and over. This is also because if people need to make more effort to vote, they're less likely to become vote spammers. It's only an extra two steps, but it could be worth it in the long run.
Fans will be asked if they would like to make comments about the author! I will include any and all comments (subject to appropriateness—no hateful messages allowed) for the authors when the results come out!
Judging will start now and will end in two weeks since I know it's the holiday season, so I will extend it from one week to two weeks to give anyone traveling and away from their devices another week to see.
That means it will end on January 5th, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
The participants of the fan vote will get an intro chapter like every other chapter, but I am tagging you guys here so you can see the link!

Also, side note, but major thanks to everyone for the support on the last chapter. I didn't get to reply to much yet, but I saw most of it, and it almost made me cry. I always get worried to post results since there's normally at least one person who gets defensive and argues with me, but not here, not last chapter. Thank you for that. I feel so good about these awards, honestly. I feel I really got the right community, and I'm so, so incredibly grateful for that.
So, thank you for your kindness. I can't wait to post Fan Vote and AOTY soon, too! Crap, I might steam through this contest real fast at this rate cause I'm 90% done with the best music video category, too...
