• The first name I had chosen for Fareeda was Amna, but right before I published her first appearance in the book (in chapter ii), I changed it to Fareeda because for some reason, it has always had a villainy appeal

• Daneen was never supposed to be as outspoken as she has been throughout the book, because with the life she has lived, ideally it wouldn't fare well for her to be so open about her thoughts and feelings

• Ammara has never liked Tabish for Daneen, and even after all was forgiven, she was against their marriage because she believed Daneen couldn't be happy with Tabish

• Fareeda and Ammi Jaan don't reconcile their differences, and simply decide to part ways. Ammi Jaan moves to Turkey with her daughter

• Abnosh used to have a crush on Badar, but after she realized his inconsistent nature, she moved on. This explains her distancing herself from him

• Abbas was supposed to be abusive towards Ammara to fuel Daneen's belief in the lies of fairytales, but this was changed at the last second

• Tabish finds Daneen's diary in her room at his house, and they read from it together at night

• Fareeda was to remain the villain till the end, but there are always two sides to a story and Ammi Jaan had a part to play in as well
