Kenny

"Belle! You told him you could move in?" I whisper yelled. I was just told that a complete and random stranger was moving into our apartment.

"Well, yeah, I mean Kennedy, his parents disowned him just because he's gay! Can you believe that? He's broke and he has no place to go!" She retorted.

"Belle, I swear to god if he ends up being a murder, I'm going to tell him to kill you first."

"Good, I'm ready for death."

"Shut up." She laughed. I walked over to where Jason was talking to Dylan, and sat down next to Dylan, him grabbing my hand. I quickly pulled it away and I heard him sigh. Jason scoffed.

"Okay, I've known you two for like ten minutes, and I can already tell you two are like in love with each other. So stop acting you hate him Kennedy."

"What?" I asked. "No, we're just friends."

"Mhmm..." Jason retorted. I rolled my eyes and payed attention to the TV in front of me. I had just figured out what was happening in the episode of Arrow that was on, when my phone buzzed. I read the screen, finding a name I didn't recognise. I unlocked my phone to read the message.

Unknown- Tell him she's mine!

Kenny- Uhm, who's this?

U- Arabella is mine!

I quickly called Belle over and showed her the texts on my phone.

"What? Who even is this guy? He called me last night!" She was scared, everyone could tell. Oliver took my phone from my hand and read the messages. He dialled the number and waited for the mysterious person to answer. We all waited anxiously until he simply ended the call with a look of defeat on his face. All of our faces, even Jason's, were painted with confusion, awaiting an explanation.

"It just said the number was disconnected." He said, confused himself.

"It must've been a burner cell." Belle added, using her extensive knowledge of criminal activity from watching crime shows. "Whatever, it doesn't matter, he doesn't scare me!" She reassured confidently. I raised my eyebrow at her and she glared at me. I took my phone back from Oliver, and relaxed until I fell asleep.

I woke up from a loud thump coming from another room, and went to go investigate. As I reached Indiana's old room, I saw Oliver and Jason moving clothes from a few suitcases into the closet and dresser, meanwhile Belle was sitting on the bed playing solitare.

"Hey guys, I'm gonna go to bed." I said from my spot in the door way. The boys replied with a simple goodnight.

"Night babe, love you!" Belle replied.

"Love you too!" I said as I walked to my room. I opened my door to find Dylan sitting on my bed, his back facing me. "Hey, I thought you went home." He jumped at my sudden words, and turned around. He was holding a picture frame in his hand. His face was tired and sad. It had been two weeks but the bruises still littered his arms, yellowing, same with his jaw. I still hated myself for what I did to him.

"Sorry... I was looking for my watch, I was about to leave, I just got distracted." He looked back down toward the frame. I stepped forward to see what picture it was. I sighed when I realised it was a photo of him and I in a park. It was a cliche picture but Belle had taken it, and it turned out beautifully. It was a photo of Dylan pushing me on a swing... It had been months since that picture was taken... I walked over and sat next to him. He looked up at me, a look of pain covering his face. I reached out and grabbed his hand, and his expression turned to surprise.

"No. I'm sorry. I'm sorry I treated you awfully these past couple weeks." I said, and he smiled weakly. "And I'm sorry I've denied my feelings for you since we met." His eyes lit up when he registered my words. His hand gripped my tighter and he smiled like I hadn't seen him smile in a long time. He cupped my cheek in his palm.

"Do I even have to ask?" He chuckled, I shook my head quickly, and he pressed his lips to mine so quick that I was surprised how fast he had reached me. He pulled me closer to him and I wrapped my arms around his neck. I pulled away to find both of us crying, and I started to laugh.

"We're a mess." I said, he chuckled.

"Duh." He remarked pulling me in again. We he finally pulled away, we laid side by side on my bed looking at each other. And we fell asleep like that. Little did I know that even the sweetest of days couldn't keep the nightmares away.

"Hey baby! Come here!" The guy yelled out, I couldn't see his face, but I knew it was him. But it was weird, it was always all of them, but it was just the one. "I can show you a good time!" He remarked. He kept spitting disgusting phrases out of his mouth as he neared me. Like always I couldn't move, nor could I yell for help. I tried yelling but no sound ever came out. He reached me and slammed me into the wretched concrete wall of the restaurant's exterior. I found myself unable to fight back. He grabbed my shirt and ripped it off, as he did the same with the skirt I realised the scene had changed. I was in my bedroom. This is wrong, everything is wrong. I was still getting assaulted by the man, and I still couldn't see his face, but through his vulgar statements, I almost recognised his voice. The shadows hid his face like a grease mask, but his touch was familiar. I felt like I knew this man who was doing all of these horrible things to me. He whipped me around throwing me on the bed. It wasn't until then that I caught a glimpse of his face. I found my voice once again regaining my ability to cry out for help. And that's exactly what I did.

"Stop it Dylan!"
