I walked through the unlocked door of the apartment to find Belle and Kenny sitting at the table with anger and confusion clearly set on their pale faces.

"Ah, Indiana, you're back." Kenny said her soft tones changing into course ones that felt like sandpaper in my ears.

"What's wrong? You only use my full name when something is wrong." I said carefully, tiptoeing around her feelings. She held up an envelope and and piece of paper. The envelope was addressed to me. "What's that?" I asked quietly. She scoffed and Belle rolled her eyes.

"Don't act like you don't know." Belle said shockingly hard. Her eyes widened as if she herself hadn't realised how angry she was until she spoke. Kenny straightened the paper out and cleared her throat.

"Dear Indiana," What? "We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into Alabama Art Institute class of 2022." She set the paper down and looked up. Her eyes met mine, her piercing blue eyes getting darker every second she spoke. "And when were you going to tell us?"

"I-" I choked.

"Get out. Pack your stuff and get out." Belle said looking away, refusing to look me in the eye.

"You can't be serious! Belle please!" She looked at the floor. "Kenny? What about us?"

"What "us"?" She said harshly "And it's Kennedy to you." I scoffed.

"Fine! I'll go live with Jake until I go to school! I can't believe this, I didn't even do anything wrong."

"Of course you won't even admit you did something wrong. And have fun in Alabama. I think the south suits you." Kennedy said roughly,

I stomped off to my room and threw all my stuff in boxes and bags as quick as I could. When I walked out to the living room, I saw Kennedy wiping my name off the whiteboard that had become an inside joke to us all.

"Bye?" I said almost as a question, but they ignored me. Well I guess this is where our friendship ends...
