The silence was broken by Indi who suddenly turned on the TV. The blank stares of everyone else had suddenly regained their emotion and the colour returned to their faces. Their eyes blinked for what seemed like the first time in an hour. Their eyelids opening and closing rapidly, bringing the moisture back to the glassy globes that found their home in our heads. The sound filled the room quite abruptly, filling our eardrums almost instantly, which is why, I imagine, we were all so startled. 

"Sorry guys... I couldn't stand the quiet anymore." Indi said, ironically, quietly, her voice small and shy. You could tell she was uncomfortable. Indi had never been good with situations where emotions were involved. They made her feel awkward. She switched the channel to something that I had never seen before. So I turned to Kenny and Dylan. She sat with her head on Dylan's shoulder, his eyes shining. You could tell he was happy she was paying attention to him. But I doubt she see's him as anything BUT friends. As she always had. You should hear him complain about being "friend zoned". It's annoying. Kenny's eyes were closed and her breathing was uneven as she sat there. He turned his head to look at her and she opened her eyes smiling up at him. 

"Dylan, would you get me an Advil please?" He nodded and got up. Her eyes traveled to me and she smiled. I smiled back and furrowed my eyebrows when hers faltered slightly. Dylan came back with two bottles of water and some Advil. He handed Kenny one and the pills and then turned to me. He opened the water, closed it and handed it to me. 

"Thank you." I said, it came out almost as a question. We weren't friends. We were... acquaintances? Whatever, we were just not that close. He sat down and pulled Kenny into his arms. She put her legs over him and snuggled her head up to his chest. Indi was texting, not paying attention to anyone but herself, when she stood up.

"Uhm, I'll be in my room, don't uh... disturb me." She said and walked away. The door opened a couple minutes later to Jake walking in. He smiled awkwardly and scurried off to Indi's room. She's so unempathetic. Kenny looked over to me, you could tell by her dulling eyes that she was confused and concerned about Indiana's behaviour. She had been so distant. I mean she literally left after Kenny almost got... and went and had sex! Who does that? To be perfectly honest I was getting fed up with it, but she doesn't ever think anything is her fault so I've decided not to say anything.

Dylan grabbed the remote off the coffee table and flipped it to Netflix to search for a movie. Kenny still in his lap, kept her eyes fixated on me, almost like she was trying to communicate with me through glances. I lightly shook my head and turned away, my attention being drawn to the pounding sound coming from Indi's room. You could almost hear every groan and every moan that came from the pair's mouths. I looked back over at Dylan and Kenny who were also looking in the direction of the hallway. Their faces a mixture of disgust and embarrassment.

"How about we go get some coffee?" Kenny offered. And in a second we were all out the door, and heading downstairs as quickly as possible. "Well that was awkward." She said as we reached the door of the coffee shop. Dylan and I nodded in agreement as he opened the door for Kenny and me.

"Hey guys, your normals?" Alex asked with a smile. We all nodded as we went up to the counter to pay. "Where's Indiana?" He asked.

"Having rudely loud sex in our apartment, while we were there." Kenny said, annoyance filling her normally soft tone. Alex's smile dropped into a frown as soon as her words registered.

"Oh." He stated. She looked up remembering who she was talking to.

"Oh, Alex, I'm sorry, I forgot that you had a crush on her."

"It's okay, so many people have a crush on her, she can't notice all of them." He said.

"I know what you mean. I think we've all had a crush on her at some point." Kenny said laughing, but it slightly trailed off as she looked at her feet.

Alex handed us all our coffee and we said our goodbyes and walked across the street to the park to drink it. We had all just sat down on a bench by the woods when a guy who almost looked like a mix between Dylan and Oliver. He had on a maroon button down with sleeves that were rolled above his elbows and a skinny black tie over it. His pants were simple dark jeans with some what looked like loafers.

"Excuse me, you're Arabella right?" He asked. His face was narrow, his features striking in a serious way, and the black framed glasses he was sporting added to the aura of almost sophistication.

"Uhm, yes, and you are?" I asked slightly confused.

"Hi, uhm, I'm Lewis, we went to high school together." I looked at him slightly confused.

"Huh, that's odd, I don't think I remember you, although I don't remember anyone really. I've kinda blocked it all out." I laughed and he smiled awkwardly.

"Well, either way, it was nice seeing you." He walked off quickly, but kept looking back as he walked away.

"Okay that was just weird." I said.

"Why?" Kenny asked.

"I have never seen him before in my life, nor do I know ANYONE named lewis, and I remember everyone from high school and he didn't go to my school." I said.

"Then how did he know your name?" Dylan asked.

"I'm not sure..." I looked up to see Indiana and Jake walking away from the apartment. "Anyway, looks like Indi and Jake left so lets just go back, I don't want to like run into that guy again..." They laughed as we stood up and walked back towards the apartment. Once we got to the door, Dylan stopped.

"Okay well I need to go back to my apartment so I'll see you guys later." He said looking mainly at Kenny.

"Okay, be safe, bye!" Kenny said as she turned and walked through the door. Leaving just him and me standing outside.

"Do you think she'll ever notice how in love with her I am." He asked quietly.

"Only once you make her realise. Be safe you little egg. See you later." I walked through the door watching a sad smile spread across his face as I shut the door and went into the apartment.

"Hey Belle?" Kenny said from Indi's desk across the room. "You may want to see this."
