Today is the day I meet my brother JP and excited. Last night I was nervous but my dad, brother and stepmom talked to me about JP and my nerves went away. Today Mary didn't have work so after we brought Dylan and Casie to school we went shopping for food for tonight. JP loves roast with gravy and rice, garlic buns, and a salad and for desert German chocolate cake so that's what we're making. At 2:30pm I went get Dylan at school after picking him up we went in the car rider line at Casie's school and at 3:00pm Casie was in the car and we went to the store for a snack. After we got the snacks I started driving back to my dads, at a stop sign I checked my phone to see I had a text from Mary saying
From Mary: Hey Rook, Casie's dad and their friends are here.
and I texted back
To Mary: Ok we are two minutes away! See yall soon!
I then told Dylan and Casie that Rook and her dad is back and Casie started yelling "Yay" and me and Dylan laughed. Getting out the car I help Casie get down and grab her stuff and she runs inside the house screaming "daddy" Dylan looks at me and says "no matter how he reacts to you you still have me, dad and my mom. We want to be in your life and we want you in ours. I love you Lace." I pull him in a hug and say "I love you Dyl" and we walk inside. Going into the house I put Casie's bookbag down and follow the voices to the kitchen, walking into the kitchen everyone stop talking. Looking around I see Mary, two black guys, a white girl, a tall cute guy who's holding Casie so I guess that's her dad Kells and a guy standing by Mary with tattoos. Mary smiles and says Lacie this is Slim, Dubo, Ashleigh, Casie's dad Kells and this is your brother JP or Rook. I say "hi it's nice to meet yall" and they say "hi nice to meet you too" but Rook looks like he wants to say more but doesn't. Dylan them says "bro look I told you I got a tattoo" and pulls his shirt up and Rook says "damn that's sick, who did it and how you get dad to agree to this." and Dylan says "Lace did it and I just told dad that its not fair you could get a tattoo at 16 but I have to wait until 18 so he agreed to one" and Kells said "Damn that's some clean lines. Sick man" and Dylan says "thanks", Kells then turns to me and says "Mary said you been taking care of Casie for me so thank you" and I said "no problem, she was great". My dad gets home from work and we eat, after we were done eating Slim, Dubo, Ashleigh left to go to their families so me, dad, Mary, Dylan, Rook, Casie and Kells went watch a movie in the livingroom, midway through the movie I went to the bathroom and when I walked out Rook was in the hallway waiting for me. What happened next shocked me, he looked at me with glare and said "you might be fooling them but your not fooling me. What you want money, fame?" I said "no I just want to get to know my family" and he chuckles and says "well we don't want to know you so get lost. The only reason your here is because MY dad feels sorry for your pathetic ass. Do us all a favor and get lost bitch." and walks away leaving me with tears in my eyes.
