Eileen was happier than usual.
Jungkook noticed her cheeks constantly
turning pink as she thought of something
that made her smile.

"You okay?"
He asked as if there was some sort of problem.

"Yeah."
She did the same giggle she's been doing,
while smiling to herself again.

"What are you so happy about?"
He casually asked, but the truth was,
he wasn't being casual at all.

"Okay, I'll tell you."
She smiled, excitedly sitting across
from Jungkook. He waited until she spoke,
letting all the possibilities run through his head.

"I have a date tonight."
She flashed a smile just thinking about it.

"A w-what?"
He asked, hearing her perfectly clear the first time.

"A date."
She repeated, actually thinking he
needed to hear it again.

"With who?!"
He asked in a slightly concerned tone.
She noticed and had a gut feeling he was
going to play older brother again.

"The boy I met at the antique shop."
She explained, remembering the
awkward encounter he and Jungkook had.

"That guy?"
Jungkook's forehead creased as his eyes narrowed.

"What's that supposed to mean?"
She asked, somewhat offended by his question.

"You barely know him. Didn't you
meet him two like two days ago?"

"It's a date Jungkook.
We're not getting married."
Eileen crossed her arms, while avoiding his gaze.

"I'm sorry. I just didn't want you to get close to people you didn't know. This town is really scary, and I don't want you talking to the wrong people."
He apologized, and she could tell he meant it from the way his eyes looked at the floor and not at her.

"It's okay Jungkook. I know you meant well,
but you have to trust me on this one."
She comforted him, patting his back as he gulped.

"When's the date?"
He asked Eileen as she walked towards the kitchen.

"Eight."
She tried to remember correctly as she
grabbed a dry rag from the drawer.

"I'm asking because that freak
invited us over for Tea."

"Don't call him a freak."
She jokingly glared at him.

"Should I decline?"
He asked, not really wanting to go.

"No no, we should go. After all, he
helped us adapt to the town."
Eileen noted, making Jungkook sigh.

She grabbed a plate of cookies, bringing it
along as a thank you gift. Jungkook handed
me my coat as he put his on. It was only
next door, so the walk wasn't long at all.

She knocked on the door, and
stepped back out of politeness.
Her parents were strict with things
like that, so she never forget it.

He ran to the door as usual, stopping by
the window first. He had the same mask
on his face, but his outfit was completely
different. His earnings were now down to
his chest. They didn't understand his style
one bit, although the man didn't seem to mind.

He ran to the door and began to unlock
chain after chain until the door was
finally able to be pushed open.

Jungkook gave Eileen an odd look. He wasn't comfortable with the idea of this man having
tons and tons of locks on his door as if trying to
keep someone in or lock someone out. The only
way to unchain them was from a key that he
placed around his neck.

"My friends!"
He jumped in excitement before pulling us inside.

Eileen giggled while Jungkook frowned.
The man ran over to the kitchen, grabbing
what they assumed was the tea. She held
the plate of cookies in her hand, afraid to set
them on the table where the tarantulas crawled.

"We brought you cookies."
Eileen loudly spoke, letting him know.

All she got in return of the sound of
humming and boiling water. Jungkook
squirmed as the spiders crawled beside
him and threatening to climb up his arm.

The man walked back into the living room,
almost in a fashioned manner. He set the
vintage tea set down and opened the tray
of sugar cubes.

"How many for you, Eileen darling?"

She slightly narrowed her eyes as he asked the question. "H-how do you know my name?"

He paused what he was doing, and walked
back into the kitchen without saying a word.
Jungkook stared at me in concern, walking
over to stand beside Eileen.

"Let's get the hell out of here."
Jungkook whispered.

"Can we play a game?"

Jungkook and Eileen were both startled, nearly knocking down the whole shelf behind them.

"Uh, sure.."
She tried to smile but sometimes
kindness eventually didn't help at all.

"You hide, and I seek."
He whispered and the lights went out.

Eileen held onto Jungkook's arm, while
he stood in front of her in total darkness.

"Hey, come out. We're not playing anymore."
Jungkook called out, not able to see even a glimpse of light.

The sound of running on a creaking floor
board scared the two, especially Eileen who
was hugging her best friends' whole body now.

"Cut it off. I said we're not playing."
Jungkook yelled, this time with a harsher tone.

Eileen screamed at the top of her lungs as
she felt something climb her leg. Jungkook
quickly reached down, trying to feel if there
was an arm holding onto her, but it was only
one of his tarantula's.

"It's okay, it's okay."
Jungkook repeated to calm her down.
"It's only a spider."

"If you don't listen to me, you're gonna be
in serious trouble when I call the police."
Jungkook shouted, thinking that would at least be the thing to persuade him.

Jungkook took a couple steps forward,
going on a mission to find the light
switch himself. He flattened his hand
against the wall, moving slowly to find where
the switch was. It wasn't until seconds later,
the familiar classical music began playing.

Then a loud clash.

"Jungkook."
She called out desperately,
as her voice was clearly strained.

Her legs continued to shake as she began to silently walk towards the door. She couldn't see anything, but she was familiar with the room enough to know which side the door was on.

It was absolutely silent. The only time Eileen heard noise was the little faint footsteps. She tried not to make any noise as she slowly stepped, foot after foot, towards the door. She was a couple inches from the door handle when the creaking footsteps stopped right beside her.
