One generation did nothing to turn things around but always blaming the government for their woes and trouble, but another came with determination, to reshape, rewrite, and turn the nation around with one voice of unity. We know the hypocrites amongst us...it is either you Soro Soke or stay mute in the name of looking and sounding sane. One generation came and left all things for God to do, another came and fought tyranny, humiliation, brutality, poverty, corruption, and bad governance through determination. END SARS!

Ada hurriedly pressed the spoon filled with jollof rice into her mouth and moaned in delight. It had been three weeks, three weeks of fruitless investigation. She had gone to the teachers hoping to get something out of it but they all said the same exact statement, they had no idea on who could have killed just a brilliant student. She also asked the security men that guarded the school if they saw Bimbo on Valentine's day and they all said they couldn't remember.

"Bunch of idiots." Ada gritted her teeth on remembering the security men who were licking their disgusting lips and checking out her backside while she was questioning them.

Heat rashes branded Ada's neck and she hurriedly removed her black jacket.

"This Nigerian sun is like fire oh." Ada chuckled to herself. She adjusted her thin top which clung to her heavy bosom and resumed eating.

A dry knock on the door made Ada bash the spoon against the table in displeasure. She swore in her heart that if it was Kola, she would lock the door regardless of which part of his body would have entered her office. A young teenager dressed in a short school uniform walked in and Ada felt calmness wash into her body.

"Excuse me, who are you and what do you want?" Ada asked.

"I'm Bola. Bimbo's friend." Bola replied.

Ada smiled cheekily and covered her plate of rice. She thought that the girls were avoiding the investigation deliberately but she was pleased that they were interested.

"Have a seat." Ada pointed, examining Bola.

Bola sat down and Ada cleared her throat.

"I thought you were preparing for exams." Ada stated while looking through her drawers.

"I was." Bola said.

"What changed?" Ada brought out a pen and paper.

"Nothing." Bola replied, lowering her head.

"You can be casual with me." Ada smiled.

"Okay." Bola settled her gaze on the window.

"What's your name?" Ada asked.

"Bola Adams." Bola replied.

"What's your favorite food?" Ada changed the subject while flipping her pen.

"W-what?" Bola stuttered.

"You're too quick in answering my questions. You need a distraction." Ada smirked.

"I thought you were going to just ask about Bimbo. I have somewhere to be." Bola blurted.

"We all have places to be, don't we? You seem anxious." Ada declared.

"I'm not. I'm just bothered about your weirdness." Bola replied.

"Alright, fine. Where were you on Valentine's day this year?" Ada folded her arms.

"I was at home." Bola chipped in instantly.

Ada laughed aloud which jolted Bola backwards in her seat. She held her stomach trying to suppress the rising humour.

"And how is it possible that your best friend was at a club and you were at home?" Ada asked.

"I guess we all have different priorities." Bola stated.

"Really? And you didn't know she was going to a club?" Ada continued.

"I did not. Bimbo was secretive." Bola countered.

"I must say, you are a better liar than your friend, Sade." Ada praised.

"E-E-Excuse me?" Bola gulped.

"You heard me. You didn't know your friend was at a club and you were at home on Valentine's day? Are you single or lonely?" Ada pressed on.

"You're crossing the line ma." Bola shook her head.

"I intend to cross a lot more than lines today. You have to tell me why you were at home then." Ada nodded.

"I was doing my homework. I had chores to do, I was busy." Bola suddenly shouted.

"There's no need for you to splash saliva all over my face." Ada teased while mopping her face with her hand.

Bola sniffed and fumbled with her pink bag. She brought out a photo, rose up on her feet and raised it in front of Ada.

"We...were...very...close. Bimbo was like a sister to me, we did everything-" Bola sniffed.

"But you didn't know her secrets?" Ada propped up a brow.

"I didn't." Bola retorted with a wave of her hand while lowering her frame back on the chair.

Ada sighed,"Then why did you slap Bimbi on Valentine's day during school hours?"

"W-What? Who told you that?"

"It doesn't matter who told me. Just answer the damn question." Ada yelled.

"It...was.... because....well... I... can't-"

"Use your words." Ada tried to help.

"She...told...me....that....she....was... going...to...abort....the... baby." Bola quaked in fear.

Ada opened her mouth in shock.

"You knew Bimbo was pregnant?" Ada tilted her head.

"We all knew." Bola lowered her head and began fidgeting with her fingers.

"I thought you said Bimbo had secrets. Then why did she tell you?" Ada asked.

"Because...I was her only true friend." Bola cried.

"What do you mean?" Ada pressed further.

"It was Sade who told you that I slapped Bimbo abi?" Bola nodded to affirm.

"Yes and so?" Ada interlocked her fingers.

"Sade never liked Bimbo. She was always jealous of her." Bola started.

"I know that already. It was because of a boy." Ada began scribbling on a paper.

"Is that what she told you? Sade is a chronic liar."Bola hissed

"Same goes to you. You picked a good liar like yourself for a friend. Such a perfect combo." Ada smiled with sarcasm.

"Sade was jealous because she wasn't as smart or beautiful as Bimbo. Sade was always pretending to like Bimbo. She actually wanted to be like Bimbo." Bola explained.

"Then you are implying that she might have murdered your friend?" Ada inquired.

"Well yes and-"

"Do you know how horrible you sound like?" Ada's brows creased in amazement.

"E-Excuse me?"

"How can you say that about your friend, your very close friend?" Ada said.

"She's not my friend, not anymore. Bimbo was the only person holding us together. Don't you know that friendship might not last forever?" Bola asked.

"Wow, I haven't seen crazy friends in a while. Sade made you a suspect and now you are making Sade a suspect." Ada exclaimed.

"Can....I go now?" Bola sniffed.

"I'm not done. I still have-"

But Bola had already carried her bag and adjusted her school uniform without sparing Ada a glance.

"I understand that your friend is dead and you're hurting but I still have a lot of questions to-"

"Why don't you ask her stupid mother? Why don't you ask the irresponsible mother? She should have noticed it before it was too late. She doesn't even know that it was her-" Bola started wailing.

"What grudges do you hold against Bimbo's mother?" Ada asked.

"She hated us simply because she didn't like us. She made us the prime suspects because she didn't like us. But I don't like her because she knows the murderer but she can't see it because she's blind." Bola shook her head.

"So you know who killed your best friend?" Ada asked.

"I don't. Good-bye." Bola forced a smile.

"Wait na-" Ada pleaded but Bola had walked out of the door without shutting it.

Ada rose up on her feet and flexed her muscles, she walked towards the door slowly but was shocked to see Kola standing in front of it.

"I don't want to talk to you. Leave me alone." Ada snarled.

"Your facial expression is saying no. But your heart is saying yes." Kola joked.

"I'm very serious. I really don't have time to joke with you."Ada begged.

"And I have the time. Lucky me." Kola responded before walking in.

Ada sighed and closed the door.

"What do you want?" Ada questioned while lowering herself on her chair.

"You." Kola confessed.

"Huh?" Ada stared at him with confusion.

"I kept asking myself why you broke up with me but I have no answers to that. So I came here to ask again. " Kola whispered.

Ada sighed heavily.

Not again.

Why was Kola so persistent?

Was he so jobless?

"I have work to do and we have discussed this already." Ada replied while looking over some files on her table.

"We didn't discuss anything Ada, you didn't give me an explanation." Kola retorted angrily.

"Can't you just move on?" Ada glared at him.

"Why can't you move on?" Kola folded his arms.

"Kola, see ehn. I don't have your time today at all. I'm so pissed right now and you are making it worse, I swear." Ada said.

"Let me make you feel better then." Kola winked and rose up on his feet.

Ada watched as Kola walked up to her and shifted the table slightly to gain access to her, he lowered his head and pressed his forehead to Ada's.

"Kola, I swear. If you're planning on kissing me. I'll send to jail oh." Ada threatened.

"I'll love to go to jail." Kola whispered softly.

"Kola, please. We aren't together anymore." Ada pleaded.

"Why are you so scared of me kissing you? I brushed my teeth, don't worry." Kola assured.

"It's not like-"

Kola knew she didn't love him back, but he couldn't resist. He leaned in a little closer, their foreheads touching. He couldn't fight against the thoughts that were going through him. Her very smell was flooding his senses now. His lips brushed hers. Not innocently, like a tease but hot, fiery, passionate and demanding. Ada wanted to pull away before she lost herself but she couldn't seem to...In this minty moment, her senses had been seduced and she could no longer think straight. "My Ada." he whispered slowly, prolonging each letter as if to savor them. Ada smiled, her heart fluttering at his voice as she clasped her hands on either side of his face. Never before has her name ever felt so wonderful a one, she thought, as she leaned in for another.

He kissed her and the world fell away. It was slow and soft, comforting in ways that words would never be. His hand rested below her ear, his thumb caressing her cheek as their breaths mingled. She ran her fingers down his spine, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them and she could feel the beating of his heart against her chest. As his fingers crawled under her shirt, just between her breasts, they locked eyes. He admired her eyes for just a second before they started making out. Her arms flew up to wrap themselves around his neck. Her lips were soft and warm and welcoming, her tongue teasing his. Kola had one hand in her black hair and the other still exploring under her shirt.

"You're gonna stretch my shirt if you keep doing that," she said teasingly between heated kisses.

"Mm... I'll buy you a new shirt..."

"I happen to like this shirt," she taunted.

He nibbled at her lip before he smiled and pulled away so he could help her out of her shirt. He draped it over the back of the chair and brought his attention back to her. He kissed her full lips again, their eyes squeezing shut as they lost focus of everything but each other. This time he explored around and under her black lace bra. Whenever his fingers ran over her nipples he could feel her shiver in his arms, could hear her breath hitch ever so slightly. Her breasts were gorgeous and perky and her nipples got hard so easily whenever he played with them. Unable to wait any longer, Kola took off her bra and threw it away. Ada smiled and she reached down to grab the hem of his shirt. But he shook his head playfully, gently pushing her hands away. She raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

"What are you doing?" she asked.

"You'll see."

He guided her so that she was lying down on the floor under him. He ran his hands from her thin waist to the mounds of flesh that were her breasts, and squeezed them while he leaned closer to kiss her jaw, then her neck. She ran her hands over his back as he licked and grazed the skin of her neck with his teeth, leaving little marks that wouldn't stay there long, but the sight of them on her pale, sensitive skin still turned him on. He did the same with her collarbone, brushing at her skin with his lips to tease her, before kissing and sucking gently.

Ada was a horny bastard and she knew it. She knew she had to let go but she wanted more.

One...Slow and uncertain

Two...Soft and smooth

Three...Plump and delicious

Four...A growing rhythm.

Five..."Hmm," he moaned, sitting on top of her; knee's on either side of her thighs.

Six..."Hm," a small deeper moan answered back as he sat. Her hands wandering on their own.

Seven...A sharp pain made her open wider and she was explored. Sweet spearmint peppermint

Eight..."Hm," he moaned again, pushing her head back into the floor. Wet and lewd sounds.

Nine...A passionate dance for dominance that he dominated.

Ada suddenly felt the flashing and disgusting picture of her father kissing her and she instantly drove her right hand into her back pocket producing her gun.

Ten...Ada breathed heavily only because she pulled back.

She pointed the gun at him.

Kola looked at her in shock while wiping his swollen lips.

"If....you...touch...me.. again. I'll kill you. I'll kill you." Ada stuttered, the gun trembling round her slender fingers.

"Ada, Calm down. L-Let me hold you." Kola beckoned to her.

"No, I won't...I...won't...let...you...do...it... again." Ada screamed as tears streamed down her eyes.

"What are you saying? Just look at me, look at me,Ada. It's Kola, your Kola." Kola tried to advance slowly towards her.

"Get out! Get out! Get the hell out of here!" Ada yelled like a lunatic.

"Ada, just wait-"

Ada cocked the gun, ready to fire a romantic bullet.

"Are you really going to shoot me? Ada, what's going on? Is it because-" Kola shook with fear.

"Get....out!" Ada wailed harder.

"If that's what you want. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe you...were right. I should just move on." Kola rose up on his feet and walked out of the office angrily.

Only then did Ada regain her senses as she dropped the gun on the floor and began hugging herself. She mistook Kola for her father. She was going to take Kola back if the make out resulted into sex. She was going to explain why she broke up with him but now she had pushed him to the wall by pointing a gun at him.

Ada's hands trembled as she muttered incoherent words.

"Kola... what...have... I...done?" Ada cried and lowered her forehead on the floor. She wept till her tearglands had no water in them. She then rose up on her feet and swiped tons of files on her table down to the ground. She tore at her hair and cursed her father.

It was his fault, she thought.

Who was she decieving?

It was hers.

Vote. Comment. Enjoy.
