--Late at Night In bed (Mika's POV)---

As I lay in bed, not being able to sleep, I look at Sachi's sleeping figure and smile.

I wonder what me and Sachi will find out tomorrow...well I'm just happy I've made friends here in the leaf. Maybe it won't be so bad here after all...

Turn in the bed and bring Halia's sleeping body closer to me in an embrace.

I smile and close my eyes, drifting into a deep sleep.

Thinking these words over again and again.

Who is my mom really?

--In the morning (Kai's POV)--

I open my eyes dozily, and move my hand to my fore-head and sigh.

It's morning already.

I sit up and get out of bed.

I walk to my dresser and grab my clothes, I throw them on my bed.

I walk out of the room, I grab a frying pan and spoon.

I walk down the hall and bust in Sachi's door.

"Alright! Get up!" I shout and bang the pan and spoon together.

Mika and Halia shoot out of the bed and pounce on me.

I groan as I hit the ground.

"OW! What was that for!" I shout, she squints at me then opens her eyes fully.

"Oh sorry Kai, I thought you were some bugler or something." Mika says, then she blinks and blushes a little.

I tilit my head. "What's wrong?"

"Why are you dressed like that?" She asks, I look down to notice that I had forgoted to put my shirt on before I came in here. I facepalm myself.

"Sorry, I'm not used to a girl sleeping over."

"Doesn't Sachi have girl friends?" she asks, I nod.

"Yeah, but they only slept over when we were younger. They don't sleep over that much anymore." I answer, she nods.

"Well, let's get ready and we can wake up sleeping beauty over there later." I state, pointing to Sachi's snoring figure laying half way on the bed. She chuckles and nods.

--(Mika's POV)--

Is that how Kai always wakes Sachi up? How weird...

I finish changing and brushing my teeth.

I walk back to Sachi's bed room, to see her sitting by the window by her bed.

Her eyes wide and a light blush spread on her face.

What is she looking at?

I walk over to her and look out the window, I grin.

Sitting outside was her two teammates from yesterday. "Hey."

Sachi jumps back shocked, but sighs in relief to see it was just me. "What are you doing?" I ask, she smiles.

"I woke up because Dai was throwing rocks at the windowsill." She chuckles, I frown.

"What's with him anyway?" I ask, Sachi turns her head towards me.

"What do you mean?" She asks back.

"Why is he so clingy to you? Is he in love with you or something?" I ask hastily, she smirks.

"Oh, he just flirts with me to bother me. Don't worry, I don't think he actually loves me. He's really a nice person when you get to know him better." She gives me a small smile, I smirk.

"I understand what you mean, but..." I chuckle "When are you going to get ready?" I ask pointing out that she was still in her night gown. She blushes in embarrassment and rushes out of bed. Sachi starts pulling out her ninja clothes.

"Alright then, I'm getting ready!" She yells and throws a pillow at me, I laugh at her and grin.

--At the table (Mika's POV)--

Mrs. Nami sets the food down on the table as I walk in the kitchen. Her face brightens, Mrs. Nami smiles.

"Morning Mika." She greets, I smile and sit down Halia barks and sits at my feet. "Oh and morning to you too Halia."

Halia barks back and nods, I smile and look back and forth. "Where Kai and Sachi?" I ask.

"Oh, Kai is getting my husband and Sachi is in the shower." She replies and sits down across the table. "You got ready fast."

"I took a shower last night, so there's no need." I state, she nods.

"I wish Sachi would do that sometimes, but I can blame her. When I was her age I didn't either." Mrs. Nami sighs and smiles.

"I hear you were my dads friend when you were my age." I say, she nods.

"Yes, I've known him sense I was six actually."

"Really? How about my mother?" I ask curiously, her eyes widen. She looks at the table.

"Yes, I met her when I was 16 when I met her." She says quietly, my eyes widen. She actually answered my question.

"W-What was she-" I was interrupted by Kai walking in with Daisuke and Yakimaru. I shut my mouth, Mrs. Nami looks at me asking if we should stop talking, I nod. She nods and sit up.

"Morning Yaki, Daily want some breakfast?" She asks, They both nod.

"Thanks Mrs. Nami!" Daisuke yells, I frown Why does he have to be so loud? Yakimaru smiles.

"Yes, thanks for treating us Mrs. Nami."

I smile, at least he's polite.

"Mornin' to you both." I say seriously, they turn their heads towards me. Daisuke glares.

"Oh, uh...morning...." He says awkwardly, Halia growls but I shush her. Yakimaru smiles at me.

"Morning Miss Inuzuka." He greets, I smile.

"You can call me Mika."

Sachi rushes in panting "G-Good morning everyone." She pants, "What's for breakfast? I'm starving." She sits down. Yakimaru and Daisuke smile at her.

"Morning Sachi!" They both say in union. Everyone sits down and we all start eating break feast. Though Daisuke would not stop talking.

---After Break feast (Mika's POV)---

After breakfast Yakimaru and Kai start cleaning the kitchen me and Sachi still sitting by the table talking. Mrs. and Mr. Nami walk in.

"Kids we have to go on a mission for a while, we'll be back tonight alright?" Mrs. Nami asks, we all nod.

"Okay, see you later mum." Kai yells, Yakimaru and Daisuke wave to them.

"Good-bye Mr. and Mrs. Nami!" They both yell to them, the two adults smile and wave. Mr, Nami kisses Sachi on the fore-head.

"See you later, Kai make sure Sachi doesn't do anything weird." Mr. Nami states, Kai nods.

"My pleasure." Mr. Nami smiles and leaves with his wife. Sachi turns to me

"Are we going to do our little mission today?" She asks, I nod. "Where should we go to first?"

"I think we should go to the library and look up some things." I state, she nods.

"Good idea, do you want those three to come too?" She points to the three boys on the other side. I shake my head.

"No, they have better things to do. We can hang out with them later."

She nods, "Okay, one minute." She walks over to Kai and Yakimaru, who smiles at her. I grin and sit up.

"Mika wants to go with me to the library alone, can we go?" She asks Kai, he looks at her for a moment. Then he looks at me and sighs.

"Okay, but come home for lunch okay?"

She nods and grins. "Thank Kai! You're the best!" She jumps on him in a hug, rubbing her face on him. He sighs.

"Why do I have such a strange sister?" He asks himself, I chuckle.

"Come on Sachi!"

Sachi jumps up, "Okay!" She rushes over to me.

"B-Bye Sachi, bye Mika." Yakimaru waves his hand good-bye. Sachi waves back.

"See ya!~" She chirps cheerfully, Daisuke waves also.

"See you. Nice seeing you again Miss Mika."

Halia growls, I smile "Nice seeing you both I guess, bye."

We both walk out of the door and out on the street, on our way to the library.

Once we got there we walked up to the librarian.

"Pets aren't allowed in here" she said without looking at us.

"Halia is a ninkin, not a pet" I snapped automatically.

The librarian stopped reading and looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Sorry, automatic reaction" I apologised.

"That's better" she responded. "What can I help you with?"

"Is there a section where we can look up past ninja of the village?" Sachi asked.

"Is there a certain ninja you are looking for?" The librarian questioned.

"A ninja named Darci. She would be old enough to have kids" I told her.

"Darci? As in Darci Hatake?" The librarian asked.

"We don't know here last name. All we know is that she was with Kiba Inuzuka when they were young" I replied.

"That's Darci Hatake. She was also known as Darci Nara, Darci Yuex and at one stage Darci Inuzuka" the librarian told us. "By order of the fifth Hokage all records of Miss Hatake was to be locked away in the Hokage building"

Sachi and I looked at each other.

A frown crossed my face.

"Thank you for your help" I said before leaving the library, Sachi and Halia following me.

"Now what?" Sachi asked.

"We could go talk to Naoto. He's a Nara" I suggested.

"Let's head over to his house. We could talk to his dad" Sachi agreed.

I nodded before the three of us set off toward the Nara household.

We walked up the front steps and Sachi knocked on the door.

Ren opened it.

"Hey Ren, is Naoto home?" Sachi asked.

"Yeah, come on in while I go get him" Ren said.

"Thanks" I responded as I lead Sachi and Halia inside.

The three if us stood awkwardly while Ren went to get Naoto.

"Sachi, Mika, Halia?" Shikamaru sensei said confused.

"Morning Mr. Nara" Sachi smiled.

"Hey Shikamaru sensei." I echoed.

"What are you three doing here?" Shikamaru sensei asked.

"That's a good question" Naoto said walking up next to his dad.

"This might sound weird, but I need to talk to Shikamaru sensei" I explained halfly.

"About what?" Shikamaru sensei questioned.

"About my mum Darci" I told him.

"This is a conversation to have with your father Mika" Shikamaru sensei stated.

"He says that we're going to talk about it, but we never do." I said bitterly.

"Maybe you will in time" Shikamaru sensei suggested.

"This is getting us no where. The librarian said Darci was also known as Darci Nara. She would be the same age as you are know Mr. Nara. Please do this for Mika" Sachi practically begged.

"Look, girls, I would love to help you out but I swore to Darci that I wouldn't say anything" Shikamaru sensei explained.

Sachi opened her mouth to argue.

I help up my hand and she closed her mouth.

"That's what my dad said, except he also said that he had to wait for the right time to tell me. He just never said when the right time was" I said sadly.

"It's soon" Shikamaru sensei said setting a hand on my shoulder.

I smiled up at him.

"Thanks for the sort of useful information Mr. Nara!" Sachi called as we left, Naoto tagging along.

"My dad was related your mum?" Naoto muttered.

"That makes us related" I grinned at him.

Naoto hung his head playfully.

"Oi!" I sat playfully hitting his shoulder.

"Now where are we going?" Sachi asked.

"Let's take a little trip to the Hokage building" I smiled evilly.

"If we're going to break in, we have to be done before lunch, otherwise Kai will kill me" Sachi told me.

"That's plan B, alright?" I asked them.

They nodded.

Halia barked.

"Plan A, my dear Halia, is talking to Lord Hokage" I told my faithful ninkin.

Halia barked causing me to roll my eyes.

"What'd she say?" Sachi asked looking amused.

"Halia thinks we are going to fail in both plan A and plan B" I smiled a closed eye smile.

"Don't worry Halia, we won't fail" Sachi grinned from ear to ear.

Halia rolled her eyes. It didn't say anything.

--Third's POV--

"She wants information on here mum?" Itachi muttered too himself as he exited the library where he had been studying the Sharingan some more.

Itachi frowned as he walked home.

As he was walking and idea occurred to him.

"It's worth a shot" Itachi mumbled before he ran the rest of the way home.

"Mum!" Itachi called walking into the house.

"Yes Itachi?" Sakura asked walking into the lounge room.

"Can you tell me some more about Mika's mother?" Itachi asked.

"Why would you want to know about her mother?" Sakura frowned.

"Well, you said to befriend her and I thought I could do it easier if I helped with finding stuff out about her mum" Itachi explained.

Sakura smiled at her oldest son.

"That's sweet of you Itachi, but I can't. It's not for you to tell Mika about her mother. That's up to Mika's father when the time is right" Sakura told Itachi as she sat on the arm of the closet chair.

"Then how am I going to do what you wished for me to do? She doesn't like me" Itachi stated.

"You'll find a way Itachi. I know you will. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a mission to attend to" Sakura said before she stood up, kissed Itachi's forehead and left.

Itachi sighed.

"Well that was a dead end. Maybe father has some information on Mika's mum" Itachi murmured before he went in search for his father.

Said man was in his study.

"Father, may I come in?" Itachi asked from the doorway.

"You may Itachi" Sasuke said.

Itachi bowed his head before walking in and sitting in one of the chairs.

"What is it Itachi?" Sasuke asked as he stopped the paper work he was doing.

"Did you know Mika's mother?" Itachi asked.

Sasuke sighed.

"As I heard your mother say a few minutes ago, it is not up to you to inform Mika about her mother. It's none of our business. To answer your question, I did know Mika's mother. It was her that convinced me to return to the Leaf village" Sasuke explained.

Itachi sighed but nodded, understanding that he could do no more.

"Daddy, daddy, daddy!" Kayo chanted as he ran into Sasuke's office.

"Yes Kayo?" Sasuke smiled, amused.

"Can I to the park?" Kayo asked, his eyes wide.

Sasuke pursed his lips.

"Itachi...?" He started.

Itachi nodded with a smile.

"Come on Kayo. Off to the park" Itachi told his younger brother.

"Yay, yay, yay, thank you daddy, thank you Tachi!" Kayo beamed.

Sasuke and Itachi smiled at the youngest Uchiha.

Kayo bolted out of the room to get his sandals on.

"Look after him please Itachi" Sasuke said as he returned to his paperwork.

"I will father" Itachi asinine before he followed his younger brother.

--Mika's POV--

"I get it Lord Hokage" I sighed.

Again, nothing.

Naruto frowned.

"Naruto" Mrs. Uzumaki said handing him a box.

"But Kiba..."Naruto started.

"I'll deal with him if he finds out" Mrs. Uzumaki smiled.

"Lucky my lovely Hinata doesn't like to see people sad" Lord Hokage grinned.

Mrs. Uzumaki blushed and looked down.

Lord Hokage handed me the box.

I frowned but opened it anyway.

Inside was an old photo album.

"Look at it tonight. And don't tell your dad we gave it to you sweetheart" Mrs. Uzumaki smiled.

"Don't worry Mrs. Uzumaki, I won't tell him. Neither will Halia. We won't tell Akamaru either" I smiled.

Both adults smiled at me.

Halia whined and bumped my hip.

"Good point Halia" I said.

Lord Hokage raised an eyebrow confused.

"Halia says I should go home and hide this. Thank you for it" I explained.

Both adults just kept smiling.

"Come. I'll distract your family. Then I need to go home for lunch" Sachi said.

"Thank you again Lord Hokage, Mrs. Uzumaki" I grinned before we all left.

"You have to tell me what's inside it tomorrow" Sachi said.

"I'll tell you both, along with Nao and Rei" I grinned.

Halia howled before she looked at me.

"Oh you are in Halia!" I shouted before the both of us started running.

I heard Naoto sigh and I knew that he and Sachi were running after me and my ninkin.

"I win!" I gloated to Halia when Sachi and Naoto arrived a spilt second after Halia.

My faithful companion rolled her eyes before walking into the house.

"I'll distract your family, while you dash up stairs" Sachi said.

I nodded and let her go first.

Naoto was right behind me.

Sachi walked into the living room.

It was quiet but then I heard her start singing something.

'If your happy and you know it clap your hands!

If your happy and you know it clap your hands!'

I tuned it out as Naoto and I snuck upstairs to my room.

We managed to get there without anyone stopping us.

"Where are you going to hide it?" Naoto asked.

Walking over to my desk, I opened the bottom draw before closing it and locking it.

I put the key in my pocket.

"Let's go save Sachi" I grinned.

Naoto sighed but followed me down stairs.

"You put your left hand in, you put your left hand out, you put your left hand in and you shake it all about. You do the hokey pokey and you turn around, and that's what it's all about!" Sachi sang.

I looked at her oddly as I walked into the lounge room.

Naoto sighed AGAIN as he sat down in an arm chair.

Grandmama Tsume was amused.

Dad was shaking his head.

"Thank god my daughter turned out alright" I heard him mutter.

I grinned before I opened my mouth.

"You put your right hand in, you put your right hand out, you put your right hand in and you shake it all about" I started.

Sachi joined in.

"You do they hokey pokey and you turn around, that's what it's all about!" We finished.

We both started laughing.

"Shouldn't you be heading home for lunch?" Naoto reminded Sachi.

Sachi looked at the clock before she swore and sprinted out of the house.

"What did her parents feed her this morning pup?" Grandma Tsume grinned.

"Bacon and eggs" I grinned back.

Grandma Tsume starred laughing.

"I'm gonna go. It was good seeing you again Mika" Naoto said before he escaped my crazy house.

"Mika" dad said catching my attention.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"I was thinking you and I could get lunch together" dad offered.

"I'd like that" I smiled.

"Come on then. It's about time I treat you to Ichiraku Ramen" dad grinned.

He lead the way out with Akamaru right behind him.

Halia was following me.

It was good to have the old, fun loving dad back again.
