"Sure, we'll enjoy." Eunhi smiled back at Hyemi.

Hyemi fixed her glasses and went to the sink to wash her cup. Eunhi turned around and asked her,"so tell me more about yourself. What are your hobbies?"

"I specifically don't have any hobbies. I like to read. I sometimes draw too." Hyemi looked at Eunhi while wiping her hands with the towel.

"Oh, that's good. I like to read too. I like to sing too but I'm a little shy." Eunhi laughed.

"You sing?" Hyemi eyed her.

"Yes, basically I'm a bathroom singer. I become really nervous to sing in front of people." Eunhi said.

"Can you sing for me?" Hyemi sat back at her chair and Eunhi blushed. "I- I feel awkward."

"No need to be awkward. Only I'm here." Hyemi smiled.

"Okay, if you insist..." Eunhi cleared her throat.

She sang a syllable of Hwa Sa's 'Maria' and Hyemi's eyes got bigger as she listened to her mesmerizing voice. Never in her life had she seen someone sing so impressively.

She rested her chin between her palms and stared at Eunhi as she sang, her eyes closed as she felt every line touching her heart.

As Eunhi finished singing, she opened her eyes only to see Hyemi staring deep into her soul. It took her a second to realise that Hyemi was too lost.

Eunhi snapped her fingers in front of Hyemi's eyes and Hyemi flinched. The sudden action causing the hair on her body to stand straight and she exchanged glance with Eunhi.

"Uh, how was my singing?" Eunhi tilted her head as she shyly asked Hyemi.

"I- It was so beautiful! I freaking loved it! Wow Eunhi." Hyemi clapped and Eunhi's cheeks turned pink to hear the compliment. She muttered a 'thank you' to Hyemi.

Hyemi licked her lips as she looked at Eunhi again. "You should have been a singer."

"Oh really? I don't think I sing so good. But my brother is an amazing singer and rapper." Eunhi said, fidgeting with her fingers.

"No doubt it's in your blood." Hyemi said sarcastically and both of them laughed.

They talked for a long time about their families, life, and other things. As they talked, Eunhi noticed that Hyemi was a bit too interested in her thoughts. No one ever paid much attention to Eunhi and it showed. Suddenly meeting a girl like Hyemi made Eunhi happy as she found someone who listened to her with full of their heart.

"Wow that was great. I love talking to you." Hyemi said. "Before you, a guy used to live here with me. He wasn't so talkative. In fact, we didn't even talked more than asking about notes and dinner to each other. He recently got transferred, I think three weeks ago. Since then, I've been living alone here."

"Oh, it's okay. Now I'm here, I won't let you get bored." Eunhi smiled and Hyemi chuckled at her. "Aww, you're so sweet."

"Well, that ring looks pretty." Hyemi suddenly said as she noticed the diamond studded ring in Eunhi's hand.

"Yeah, it's my engagement ring."

"What? Engagement? You- you're engaged?" Hyemi gasped.

Eunhi pressed her lips into a thin line. She sighed and smiled, "Yes, I've been engaged some days ago."

"But you're too young? How old are you?" Hyemi asked.

"I'm 19. Soon to turn 20."

"Oh, that sounds awkward.. seems like your freedom is snatched." Hyemi said with a frowned look upon her face.

"No no. It's fine. He's actually really nice. And I'm not marrying him right now. I'll get married after a year or two. But I must say, he is bold, caring and handsome too." Eunhi said, sinking into her thoughts. The incidents of that day were replaying in her head. She nodded and said,"nevermind, what type of guys do you like by the way?"

"Me? Uh, I- I don't like guys." Hyemi said with a straight face and Eunhi raised her brows.

"Oh why tho-" Eunhi asked but Hyemi stood up from her place. "I don't know...well, I have to go get notes from my friend. Hope you won't mind if I leave?"

"No, you can go." Eunhi said and Hyemi rushed back to her room. Eunhi looked here and there. She sat there for some time, feeling sleepy as she yawned.

In the next moment, Hyemi came out of she room and glanced at Eunhi, who was sitting on the dining table half-mindedly. She chuckled as she walked to Eunhi and tapped on her shoulder.

"Go to your room and rest. I'll come back soon."

"Okay, take care... Hyemi." Eunhi yawned again as she stood up and walked to her room. Before closing the door, she gave a warm smile to Hyemi, that made Hyemi's heart flutter. The hell.  She had never felt like this before.

Something about Eunhi was making Hyemi feel bashful. She never noticed her heart beat at this rate. When she saw Eunhi, she knew there was something in her, that was attracting her to Eunhi. She felt wretched when Eunhi said she was engaged. Hyemi couldn't understand why she was feeling like this with Eunhi.

She nodded her head aggressively. "No no! I shouldn't be thinking about this. I have my exams and I've got to study." She said and wore her boots and walked out, closing the main door shut.

-Hyemi's POV-

As I walked out of the dorm, my mind was still focused on Eunhi. Why am I feeling like this? And why towards Eunhi?

I walked and reached Kyung Hee's house, who was my best friend.

She welcomed me and we sat in her room, discussing about the topics. She gave me her notes and we talked a bit. I decided to tell her about this, because I always did. She was the only one who listened to me, that's why she was my bestie. I told her about Eunhi and our meeting.

"So what? Is she a nice girl?" Kyung Hee asked.

"A bit too nice." I said, "I don't know why, since I've met her, I'm feeling so weird. I get chills when I look into her eyes..my heart starts beating uncontrollably when she talks to me. Why is it so?"

Kyung Hee sighed at that. She looked at me. "You know you're attracted to females more than males, right?"

"I- I don't know. It's the first time I felt this. You know me, I'm not that kind of person." I said. " Even though I tried, I don't find men attractive. Why is it so?"

Kyung Hee held my hand and said, "you know, it's not important to like only one particular person or gender. We have a dilemma and you can like whoever you want. Don't force yourself to like someone. You'll yourself feel attracted to the one, it doesn't matter if it's a man or a woman. You understand?"

"Why is it her? She is taken, yet I still feel something about her. What should I do?" I asked as Kyung Hee pouted at me.

"What can I say...you chose the wrong person, I think." She said. "It could have been someone else. I don't think it would be appropriate for you to like her. Control your feelings. That's all I can say. Pay attention to studies. Distance yourself from her."

"It's not that easy." I said, feeling a lump in my throat. "But I'll try. I think you're right. I- I'm a lesbian. I never realised.."

"It's okay. It's okay to like whoever you want. Don't be ashamed. It's just that, don't choose her. Choose someone else..you get that?" Kyung Hee hugged me and I hugged her back.

"Yes, I got it. And I'll try to..." I answered and she rubbed my back. "That's my baby."

I greeted her and her mom and came back to my dorm. It had been an hour since I left. "Eunhi must still be asleep." I said to myself.

I bought some packets of chips for her as she said she loved potato chips. Her gummy smile was rotating in my mind every second and I couldn't resist myself to think about her singing. Dang, that was so pure amd so ethical.

I shook my head again in embarrassment as I realised I've been thinking about her again.

"Don't think about Eunhi. Don't think about Eunhi. Don't think about Eunhi." I repeated as I stood in the elevator.

I reached my room and I opened the door. I stepped inside and took my shoes off. Putting my bag on the dining table, I turned to Eunhi's room to give her the packets.

I realised that her door wasn't locked so I pushed it. I peeped inside and saw Eunhi wiggling on her bed with her face buried in her pillow and her hands spread around. I chuckled as I saw her in this position, peacefully sleeping like a baby.

I went to her bed and placed the packet on her nightstand. Accidentally, my foot got hit on the bed and I heard a thump as I balanced myself again.

Eunhi turned back and for a split second, she lifted her head. I covered my mouth and looked at Eunhi who again closed her eyes and went to her deep slumber again.

I sighed and glanced at her face, which was now covered by her long brown hair. I took a step and removed the strands from her face. As I did so, I saw the look on her face as she slept with her mouth a bit parted open, slowly inhaling and exhaling. I looked at her eyes and her soft plump lips. They looked so delicious.

"Fuck Hyemi no! What are you thinking? She is just your roommate." My inner thoughts said as I looked at the ceiling. Then back at her lips again.

A kiss would take nothing.....

I took one more step forward as I stood just beside her bed. I leaned in and stared at her closed eyes again. She was in a really deep slumber.

"She won't even realise... I'm sorry but I can't resist myself." I pondered as I licked my lips.

I stared at her lips once more, and I leaned in to finally place my lips on hers.

As my lips touched hers, I realised they were softer than mine, so sweet and amazing. I closed my eyes and leaned in more, placing my hands on either sides of hers. She didn't even flinched and I knew she won't get up easily.

I closed my eyes as I savoured every moment. I slightly moved my lips to her bottom lip and I nibbled at it absent-mindedly, I didn't realised what I was doing. I let out a soft moan and Eunhi moved.

I quickly regretted what I had done. I opened my lids and stood back again. She didn't actually woke up, but I think she felt my touch.

I quickly turned back to exit but then I realised it was cold and Eunhi didn't even had a blanket there. I tiptoed to my room and brought my blanket.

After covering Eunhi up in my blanket, I took last glance at her. She was looking relaxed and I smiled as I turned around and came back to my room.

I laid in my bed for a moment, repeating the same incident again and again. That felt so unreal yet so breathtaking.

"I don't know what I have gotten myself into..." I sighed.
