Backstory

Naomi was born in Marseille France. The second biggest city in France with Paris being the biggest of course. Her father, Leonard Benoit was a soldier in the Great War, he was a very loving and caring man who loved his wife and daughter. In 1918 when she was twelve years old her father died in battle as he was a soldier that was moved to the front. Two weeks after learning that her father died, her mother Mary Dickens died from the Spanish Flu that spread across the world and took many lives. Naomi along with many other children who lost there families was moved from Marseille to Paris in an orphanage in hopes that they would be safe and find families to adopt them. She was there for two years until a couple came and adopted her. Well, they wrote a letter saying that they had chosen her to be adopted, but nonetheless they did. When she heard the news she was both overjoyed and sad. Overjoyed because someone had wanted to adopt her, but sad that she was leaving France. However once she reached Hope Valley a little town in Alberta Canada, she quickly adapted there and she soon called Hope Valley her home although part of her heart would always be in Marseille.

Naomi dreams of becoming a bookstore owner, a midwife or perhaps both of them. She is a very curious young lady and with her zodiac being Aries, she was very fierce and passionate about everything she did. Especially when it came to helping people, more so kids who were in need since she had remembered a time she was in great need and she wanted to give back.

Her father wasn't always a soldier for the French army, either. He used to be one of the famous artists in their city before the war began and they needed more troops. Her mother was a housemaid for a wealthy family as well. So up until the war began, she had a pretty comfortable life.
