People say that Erebus is the black mist at the entrance of hell and the exit the the living world. But won't that make him the god of the veil? Keeper of the between state of life and death? He would. At least that's what he told me. I'm not doubting him in any way, shape or form, but here is the thing. Why isn't he specifically called the god of the veil, instead of the god of darkness and shadow?
My theory is that there wasn't a word for veil back in the time of the Ancient Greeks. And so they choose to go with god of darkness and shadow, like that explains who he is.
He's working with me and through me as I write this. So everything I say here is true.
My point is, he is upset that no one respects what he does and I'll go into more depth on this topic later in this book.
