Hi everybody!!!! Momma here to say that ITS MY ARMY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!

I honestly cannot believe that it's been a whole ass year already, like wtf lol. So much has happened in my life within the last year, unfortunately more bad than good. But the only good constant has been BTS. From seeing them in concert, to getting their lyrics tattooed on my arm, they've done so damn much for me. Let's kind of start from the beginning & work our way to where we are now.

The first BTS song I heard was in March of last year & it was Just One Day. I really liked the vibe of the song but me being a dumb ass, I didn't wanna like them as a group lol. So that was the only song I'd be willing to listen to while I was with my friend. Over the course of March & April, she tried her damnedest to get me to like them. This bitch had already chosen my bias & everything! (Fun fact: she chose Taehyung as my bias & she was right 🤧)

It was today last year that she played Fake Love as I was getting in her car & I'm like damn what's this? This song is poppin. So now I'm asking her who it is & her funny acting ass is gonna say "Oh, it's the Korean boys you don't like."

So now my dumbass is vibing, only singing the words "fake love" because that's the only thing I could understand at the time. And then, because her phone was on shuffle, Singularity plays & listen fam, i truly fell in love. With Tae's voice, the smooth RnB vibes that I grew up listening to, everything. Then we went to the store to get wine lol & when we came back to my apartment, our other best friend with us, she showed us the music video for Singularity (I officially claimed Taehyung as my bias right then & there), the video for Fake Love (where Jimin ALMOST became my bias lol), & the video for Blood, Sweat, & Tears (Yoongi officially became my bias wrecker).

At this point, I've given in. I'm like okay, sign me tf up. I'm gonna stan. Show me a picture of these 10 guys 😂 (of course my dramatic ass clowned them for it being so many in a group. I have never seen more than 5 in a group). So she shows me & I had the daunting task of trying to point out the members WITH ALL BLACK HAIR. HARDEST SHIT EVER, BUT AFTER THAT I WAS A FUCKING PRO. I had to give them all nicknames for me to remember. V & RM remained as is & they were the easiest to pick out because hello, Tae is my bias & then Joon looks the most different (the man can pass as Blasian tbfh). Yoongi was Suga Suga (how'd you get some fly), Jungkook was Cookie (easy enough seeing as how its his nickname but with a K lol), Jimin was Jiminie Cricket (don't ask), Hoseok was Hobby (and then I found out like a month later that Hobi is his actual nickname lol) & Jin is my ultimate favorite yo. I started calling him Jin & Juice, but then just shortened it to Juicy 😂. So! The BTS members for my memory went as follows: V, RM, Suga Suga, Jiminie Cricket, Cookie, Hobby, & Juicy 😂😂 hell, it worked!

Now back on track, after watching the videos & listening to the 2 tracks from Love Yourself: Tear, I decided to listen to the album. I fell in love. And Paradise became my favorite BTS song ( I explain why in another chapter before this one).  I listened to Tear for a good ass month, & then decided to start from the beginning with they're albums. And I fell in love all over again. To see how they started off solely like hip hop based captured me because I grew up in a hip hop & rnb influenced household. So I was really digging that shit. Seeing how much their style changed was a hell of a shock that truly intrigued me. So what did I do? Looked at their translations. And just about fucking cried. They weren't just all pretty ass faces & great dancers with great voices. They spoke real shit relates to life. I love that. And i knew that I was gonna be in this Bangtan Sonyeondan shit for life lol.

I've had the pleasure over the last year of being here for 2 comebacks.

I've had the pleasure of watching many hair colors change lol, I've had the pleasure of watching live stream concerts, I've had the chance to watch MAMAs & my babies getting emotional, I've had the chance to see them speak at the UN & become one of TIME's influential ambassadors. I've gotten the chance to show my love to BTS & thank them for saving my life by getting a tattoo just 5 days ago on the 20th. They're the lyrics from "Sea" 💜

Hell, I've been blessed & fortunate to go TO a BTS concert with my best friend & my wonderful BrityNick that I met thru Wattpad.

(Oh yeah, you all haven't seen my new hair color lol. There it is!)

I've also had the opportunity to meet so many kind people on Instagram, Twitter, & here on Wattpad thru BTS. If anything, you all here on Wattpad are the sweetest & kindest in the world. As a writer & as a person, you've all made me a better person. Just knowing that I've touched others with just my words is amazing. And I truly cannot thank you enough for your continued love & support that you show me on a daily basis. I get comments all the time in my stories & it's so much now that I can't keep up with. I promise, I'll answer them all when I get the chance!

There's just so much that has happened that I can't even get everything in here because it's so much lol. I guess I'll leave it here, & just thank every single person that has ever said anything kind to me, that has read my stories, voted, & commented. I see everything, I do. I love you all so much! And here's to another year of BTS!!!!
