Boy: Yeah. You know her?

Manav: Hmm. And yeah, whatever you said is true, she is a very talented girl. She is my senior by one year. And she has been so nervous, waiting for your call. She looked very anxious.

Boy: I thought she'll be confident on getting the job.

Manav: No, she is worried out of so many people she may not be selected, there may be people more talented than her.

Boy: She is the best out of all of them.

Manav: I know, her brother or boyfriend will calm her down.

Boy: She has a boyfriend?

Manav: Yup.

Boy: Since how long?

Manav: Since that boy joined college they love each other and had started dating within few days. He is in the final year now. Boy: I'll give her the job, after what you said about how she is feeling I cannot not say yes to a job she deserves to get. But I hope boss doesn't finds out about her boyfriend.

Manav: I do have her boyfriend's photo also.

Boy: Oh, friends with both of them?

Manav: We have a group. I entered the already formed group through one of them.

Boy: Hmm.

Manav showed him Sid's photo.

Boy: He does look handsome, made for each other.

Manav: Yeah.

Boy: I just hope there are no problems between them because of her job.

Manav: Don't worry so much. And I know you will always look after Avu like your own friend.

Boy: I will. 

Manav smiled and got up while going somewhere.

Boy: Where are you going?

Manav: I'm here itself, you sit there. I won't fall into a hole if I move out of your sight.

Boy: Like I was actually coming behind you.

He said while sitting down.

Manav: I don't have to turn around to know you did stand up to come.

Boy: I didn't.

Manav came back with an injection. He held the boy's shoulder so he doesn't stand up. 

Boy: Manav, don't. 

He could sense the change in the boy's voice, which occurs with change of emotions, making it easier for Manav to know what he is feeling.

Boy: F**K.

Manav: Don't curse.

Boy: What do you mean by don't curse?

Manav: You are reacting like I tried killing you.

Boy: It's no less than that, it pains badly.

Manav: You always act like you are getting injected for the first time. Anyways I'll go. Bye.

Boy: Bye.

Manav left from there while the boy called Avneet. She picked the phone on first ring itself.

Boy: Avneet Kaur?

Avu: Yes

Boy: You had applied for job in the KM enterprises

Avu: Yes.

Boy: You have been selected.

Avu: Really?

He could sense the excitement from her voice and chuckled, making sure she doesn't hear.

Boy: Yes.

He gave her the details of the first day before keeping the call. Avu jumped in excitement and ran to the room Abhijeet were in, barging in as she hugged them.

Avu: I got the job.

Jai: Don't scream. And congratulations, I said you right you'll get the job.

Abhi: Congratulations Avneetay.

Avu: Thank you. I'll go and tell Sid, then the others also.

They nodded and she ran to where Sid was and seeing her happy face he understood she got the job.

Sid: Congrats.

Avu: Thank you.

Then she informed others who congratulated her as well.

Avu: I've heard so much about KM and now I'll be working there. I'll say Manav also.

She called Manav.

Manav: Hello.

Avu: Manav, I....

Manav: Avu, I'll talk later, I'm driving. And congrats on getting the job.

Avu: How do you know?

Manav: Why else would you call and sound so excited?

Avu: Oh. Thanks.

She kept the call.

Avu: He was driving and guessed it.

Sid: Anyone would with your excitement. All you have on your mind is job.

Avu: That's true. Riya, where are you lost?

Riya: Huh?

Avu: I asked where are you lost?

Riya: Nowhere.

Avu: Is there any problem?

Riya: No, there isn't.

Sid: Then why do you appear so disturbed? 

She gave him a look and he understood.

Sid: We'll be back.

All nodded and they both went aside.

Riya: We met him.

Sid: Whom? And who else is there in this we?

Riya: I and Manav met Manav's step brother co-incidentally.

Sid: But why do you look so disturbed about that? I mean yeah there are many bad memories but all got over it. When all have just moved on, its not right to bring up those old wounds again.

Riya: That's the reason I kept quiet there. And the reason I am disturbed, it's nowhere related to what he did years back. It's just when I saw him, I could see how much pain he was going through. I thought I was imagining until Manav said me he saw the same. He had his son, but his wife wasn't with him. He avoided her topic, so maybe its related to her.
