Four weeks later.

"Good! Do that with more power next time though!"Kyungmi yells as she watches closely and very professionally the dance routine of the seven boys in front of her.

Four weeks had passed since Jungkook got his life together and let go of the past.

It's been four weeks of trial with his parents and getting used to the fact that he has a real family to go to in times of need.

Eunjae was still thinking and unsure of what she wanted from their mother, which still saddened Kyungmi when all she wanted was both of her kids, but she understood. Yet, even if she understood, it still hurt.

Jungkook had been talking to his sister and always made sure to let her know that her unsureness was valid and that she could take her time. Which the older woman thanked Jungkook for. He knew she would soon figure out what she wanted.

It's been difficult to adjust but finally, the boy has been able to feel a weight off his shoulders and he is finally enjoying his time fully with his friends and improving his self-esteem.

Which speaking of, wasn't where he wanted it to be—there was still a long way, but he was getting there and that is all that mattered.

"Good Jimin and Jin!" Kyungmi tells nodding to the beat as the boys get close to finishing up their practice time. They had Butterfly down just right, but they were still trying to make baepsae as clean as they could.

"Nice perfect!" Kyungmi smiled and clapped as she stopped the music for the boys who turned around from their finished pose and looked at her as they tried catching their breath.

"Okay! I think that was an amazing double run-through of the song! You boys did exactly what I asked of you on the second run and for that I am pleased! I think you all need a little more breath control but it's not very noticeable. I suggest to keep trying to sing when working out or running to help. Everything honestly looks clean and well for this song!" Kyungmi comments to the boys with a smile as she folds her arms to her chest.

"I think you guys will rock this performance, and I'm mostly sure that you are going to be chosen by someone professional to go and work for them! That's it there's little to no mistakes since you guys try your best to fix anything I criticize, any questions?" She finished up.

The boys looked at each other to see if there were any questions they had and they all shook their heads.

"I think everything is clear, Mom. We will try to continue doing the breathing exercises," Jungkook replied, bringing a smile to her face by calling her mom. The boys awed hearing him say, Mom.

It made Kyungmi very happy whenever he did say it.

"Yeah professor, everything is good professor! I guess all we want to know is how do we not mess up or get nervous on stage. Maybe we can do amazing in rehearsal but what about when we go on stage? Jimin asked.

She thinks for a moment before responding. "You do get nervous and will get nervous. It's only natural. I mean you have many professionals and people who will come see you, but you don't mess up and get some confidence by believing in yourself and believing that you are capable," she continued.

"You also have to remember when you are on stage just why you are on it. You have to remind yourself just why you chose this and why you love it. Find your passion or remember why you have the passion for it and then just show it. That you can do it. It's hard, I know but you dig in deep," she gestures to her chest as a way of showing her words.

"You boys don't have to worry about messing up on stage because you won't. You will be nervous but not enough to mess anything up. You just have to remember why you chose this path, then go and show everybody why and how good you are," she says in a bright tone.

"Now if you are scared of the audience then just block and pretend it's just you and that can help too, really it's just about being sure about what you are doing, and showing why you love it. I may have repeated myself but you all get me!" she finishes

The boys nod. "We do professor we do. We will try to keep it in mind for the actual day," Hoseok chuckles.

"Seriously though I know and have faith that you guys will do amazing. I trust you all not just because I made you a team, but because you are good as a team. Even if I didn't push, you all have chemistry and are driven by the same passion which creates this magical thing, so though it's fair to think such a way know that you will do good."

"You know professor, we are going to miss you a lot when we are gone," Jin smiles and then frowns remembering how it's his and Yoongis last year along with Namjoon and Hoseok.

"Hmm, you don't have to be sad! You are friends with my boy and I'll see you guys as often as I can! If you ever need some advice to help don't hesitate to tell Jungkookie so that he can tell me and I'll be sure to do my best even if you won't be students anymore!" She gives them a sweet smile.

"That's true! With Jungkookie here, being your family we will still see you. Thank you though for what you have done. Thank you really," Yoongi bows, and the oldest goes on to do the same action.

"Please no need to bow! Show me your gratitude for what I have done by being on that stage and killing it. By being successful!" She stops them and signs them to lift their heads.

"We will be sure to keep that promise!" They laugh.

She keeps her smile. "Anyways, please go rest and drink some water! You guys did enough today! Any more questions though?" She asks and looks around to see if any of them speak up.

"No, I think we are good!" Tae smiled and she nodded. The boys minus Jungkook go to the back and get water while also using their towels to wipe off the sweat.

The boys turn around for a minute to see their youngest speaking and smiling at his mom. The older woman looked at him with love and adoration.

Since Jungkook and their professor decided to start a son and mother relationship they've been nothing but sweet. The boys can see how happy and content Jungkook seems now that everything is figured out and they couldn't be happier for him.

"It makes me happy to see him and her so happy. They deserve it so much! Finally, Jungkookie is getting the life that he needed and wanted so badly," Taehyung comments smiling.

"Yeah, I am glad everything has come together again. That life allowed him to have the family he wished for. Maybe not like it once was but better than what he currently had. It's amazing to see how much he's progressed in his confidence too!" Namjoon adds in, patting the towel on his neck.

"He still has some work, but I think he's doing good so far! I hope his happiness lasts for a while if not forever," Jimin looks at the younger in awe.

"To think that we actually didn't get along with him and now we actually can't imagine us without him, I'm happy that we got to know each other," Yoongi laughs.

"Did you all have the song for him ready to surprise him tomorrow by the way? We need to practice it the best we can secretly so that we can surprise him at the showcase!" Hoseok asked quietly.

The boys had all decided to give Jungkook a gift and write him a song. A song that expresses how they will be there for him now and in the future and how he can always count on them. They were serious about Jungkook becoming someone very important to them, and so they decided lately to show it.

They had talked with Professor Jang behind his back to work it out and convince the staff to allow them an extra song which they did. They didn't fight them and gave the green light.

"We almost have the composition down. The lyrics are pretty much done though! It's just some rehearsing though they asked me if we wanted the song before our performance or after, what do we think?" Namjoon asked.

"I think we should have it a few performances before our own in case of anything! We don't know how he will react so we need to give him time after it, I think that be best?" Jin whispers and turns to his friends for approval.

They nod. "I agree, I think that's best! Tell them to do it a few stages before ours so that we can focus later on," Jimin adds in.

"Okay, I'll do that tonight! I hope he gets ready for the best night, and also the most worrying one," Namjoon replies. They keep the look on the son and mother for a while until they focus back on packing things up and begin hoping for a good showcase. While also worrying about what their future would help. Little did they know though.

"Lights brighter! We want this stage to make an impact on people! Let's try it again!" A stage crew stressfully points out as he walks to the lighting area.

Then seven boys entered the venue, seeing it crowded with staff who were bringing out equipment and testing them. It was all busy, nothing like the silence they got used to rehearsing. Even this morning it wasn't this hectic but as the time grew closer everyone was more under pressure, how could they not?

Today would finally be SNU's biggest showcase ever. The day had finally arrived, after waiting for so long and after practicing hard for a couple of months it was time for every art and performance student to shine on the stage and prove something to the professionals that would come. It was their time to shine.

Time to show why they deserve to get picked by companies and turn into stars. Usually, all SNU showcases were big, and with a budget big it was known this one was bigger. They put more money into it and the big stage along with extra stuff clearly showed it. Not to mention that they got more than 40 companies to accept their invitations, it was a big one.

"Well, seems like the more that time passes by the more hectic and real this gets!" Jiminie smiles nervously as they walk to the backstage area. The boys just reentered the venue after going out to eat and hang out for a little to calm their nerves.

The past couple of days they had been able to not get as nervous and rehearse on stage as many times as they were allowed to perfect or to almost perfect everything that they felt they needed to clean up. Even this morning they had a rehearsal that went well but as the hours were approaching all seven were very nervous.

"It's okay though! We will do good! We just want to remember what our professors advised us! We shouldn't get scared now," Namjoon replied to Jimins comment confidently though some concern clearly showed in his voice.

"That's kind of very hard to do though. I honestly feel the nerves now too. I've never performed in front of many people or people in general except for professors and my mom. Oh, those times with your family too, and ooh what if I mess up? I'm the center and the main vocal to our performances, are you guys sure you don't want me to switch anything?!" Jungkook asked nervously all these questions. He was mainly calm for the most part as they say got near.

Yesterday, it had hit the younger male harshly that the showcase had arrived and that he along with the hyungs would have to perform not just for the whole campus but some of the big executives in music too.

He tried not to but he couldn't help but feel insecurities and fears creep up on him.

"Hey no, we aren't going to spiral now Jungkook neither should you Yoongi!" Hoseok puts his hand on the youngest shoulders and makes close eye contact.

"I know damn well you are spiraling in that kind of yours despite how quiet and nonchalant you appear or are, you will do great! We will do great," Hoseok encourages Jungkook and then looks at the others who nod.

"I think it's normal that we are all nervous but I have hoped things will go well! Please don't spiral guys! We've worked and it will be paid off! You all will see!" Jin joins the encouragement advice that Hoseok had started.

"I know, I'm sorry guys it's just hit me and I'm still not at the level I should be with my confidence though. Plus the fact that the showcase starts in two hours and a half is also a big anxiety inducer," Jungkook looks down.

"We know kookie, I'm scared shitless too but Hobi and Jin Hyung are right. We've done so much and practiced so much and very hard! We will rock it out there! It's okay to be nervous!" Jimin tries bringing in some positivity.

"I hope," he said.
