Six boys looked at each other in small worry as they knocked on their professors door. "Hello Professor Jung!" Jin says shyly as he comes into the office first. The brown haired woman smiles warmly at them, "Guys, I am glad you are here, please take a seat!" She gestures to the couch in her office. They all bow as they come in one by one and try to get adjusted  to the medium size leather couch.

"So, you all may be wondering why I asked to meet with you guys, right?" She asks and the boys look at each other before nodding. "I wanted to speak with you guys for two reasons. One, I want to know how each of you are doing and if there's any difficulties you are having inside our outside class that you would like my help in? How's the project going? Is everything well so far?" She looks at all six. They decided to see who goes first.

"Well, I guess we are doing pretty well so far? Yes we are having some struggles here and then but nothing too bad I'd say? Or at least for me. I graduate this year with Yoongi but it's nice that I'll be able to get my masters here and keep seeing my friends and the professors. I'm scared of that process but I feel I can succeed. Even in our personal life we are doing okay." Jin responds fists with a genuine smile. She smiles back at the response.

"I think we all pretty much are in a good place right now with our academic life. Like hyung said, there's struggles but nothing too bad. No fights so far either between each other or Jungkook too. Yes we as a six bicker, but nothing so deep that would risk our friendship " Hobi adds and the rest not in agreement.

"Although we are doing well, I have to admit that we feel both so weird and at peace that Jungkook and us are in a good place." Taehyung goes out of his way to speak as he looks at her. She tilts her head in confusion. For a moment, the head tilt is found familiar to that of someone that Jimin knows but can't seem to find who.

"Would you mind elaborating more? I'm getting that you and Jungkook are all in a good page? Why is that? I mean, I've seen it but I want to know what you guys have done." She says as if she didn't know Jungkook's views.

"Working with him has taught us that he's not as bad as people say or as he probably makes himself to be. And or how we made him out to be. Yes, we still disagree with many of his ways, but the more we work on this project the more we feel that what he shows to others is just a mask?? Some sort of act? We could be wrong, but he for sure has proved us wrong in some things. Like proving to us that he takes his acamdeod seriously. When we got those song lyrics from him the first time, we all were in shock. It was so hard for us to believe someone like him could write such a thing. It was hard to believe that we were wrong in one part because we just had it stuck in our mind that he was bad in every area. However, Jimin here told us that not everyone that acts bad is bad for pure evil intention. Sometimes it's to hide and protect themselves. Even if it is the wrong way." Namjoon decides to rant on.

They didn't know what was making them release all these thoughts and feelings of Jungkook out loud. They guess it's because Professor Jang is trustworthy and understanding, and they know she can help them clear their views out. But they usually discuss if they want to do such a thing with someone or not first. So agreeing without a discussion seemed weird but refreshing and stress free for them. They wanted to talk about Jungkook and his thoughts. Even if she didn't directly mention them

"However, even if it was hard to believe, we knew it was true. But we are stubborn and we thought that at least academically we can get along, not outside class though. I guess we wanted to hold on to this bad image of him, but really not we can't help but find him like anyone else." Yoongi adds into the conversation.

"Okay so you all seemed to have been slapped to the face so to speak, that you all were mistaken by Jungkook after he showed that he cares about his academics and has deep experiences? Or in other words, you all were starting to see signs that Jungkook isn't most likely  who he acts after the lyrics? That was the first sign or step, am I right? I just want us to clear everything. It's okay if we are all over the place right now." She claps her hand together as she summarizes.

"Yeah, you can say so. I guess we didn't want to believe those signs, but sometimes, you just can't help but believe them in the end when they keep showing up. Or when you start to work with the person and get to know them more. Because the more we work with Jungkook and share ideas, the more we see that he's not so bad? That deep down he's actually someone soft and nice?" Jin questions his words.

"Okay so why is it weird? To my understanding you guys resolved it right? I mean it's normal for you all to feel weird that you aren't surrounded by such frustrating tension, I know how that feels but sometimes there is more to it. So, why is it still weird?" She asks them back.

"I don't know. Well we don't know. I guess we all are still walking on eggshells? However, we would like for it to be less awkward and weird, but we don't know how? We feel good that we aren't angry anymore but it's like how can we make this less awkward and more friendly? I swear we aren't making sense or coordinating our thoughts well." Taehyung sighs and puts his face on the back of his hand.

"It's okay guys, I understand. You guys were always fighting that now that you guys aren't, you all don't really know how to act, since it is not the usual. Well, maybe try hanging out, outside of the time you all work on the project to get to know him more and create a more friendly vibe. One that won't be awkward. I know that it can be hard with Jungkook putting walls up, but I feel you guys can crack it. I'm not saying you guys need to be best friends, you can just be friends or good acquaintances if you spend time outside of campus! It will work out then I promise. Plus, between you and I, Jungkook is someone who just wants to be loved and cared for. He just pretends and acts like he doesn't because he's very scared of people seeing him as weak and worthless with no meaning in life. He wants to have friends too and he does want to get along with you guys too, he's told me, but his insecurities and past events in his life make that very hard to achieve. He's extremely stubborn. I know his ways of protecting himself are more harmful than good, but it's a work in progress. I promise that if you guys keep knowing him more and spend time with him here and then or on rare occasions, things will be better." She admits and indirectly asks the guys to be there for Jungkook.

"So it's true, his bad boy image is all an act? He isn't truly cold and mean is he?" Yoongi asks as he analyzes the confession made to them. "No. It's not. He's good at showing it is. So, get to know who Jungkook is even if it's hard or at least try. Be there for him while you can during this project. Again, I'm not asking you boys to be friends with him or understand him or anything, it's all on you, but I'm just letting you know Jungkook isn't what he seems. That there's a lovable and warm hearted guy behind his image. A broken one too... I won't share more as it's his personal life, but I'm just telling what may be helpful. Though please don't tell him I confessed to you guys that he's a sweetheart." She pleads and they laugh, shaking their heads.

"We won't. And it's good that you let us know that it's an act. Yes, he really does a good job at it, but I think with time we could see it more. I want to try and be friends with him? I mean he seems to be friends with Yugyeom? Seems like he got tired of being alone if someone new came in. Maybe we can succeed too? I don't speak for all of them, but I don't know. I have a feeling that if we try, something good can come out of it." Jimin replies with a hopeful smile. The others looked at him wondering if they wanted or thought the same way and then looked at the Professor.

"Well you see, that's my doing." She chuckles. "Plus, Yugyeom is a blank canvas too in some way. He knows what is being said about Jungkook but he hasn't seen issues happen like you and others in this campus have. It's easier for people like Jungkook to try something new with someone that doesn't know as much information about him. If you want to be his friend go for it, if not just stay as acquaintances. Baby steps too, you don't need to rush things either okay?" She looks at them all and they nod.

"I have a question though, what made you pair us up with Jungkook? You saw how bad we used to get along, why did you put us together? Not complaining, at least not anymore but I've always been curious to see how other professors try their best to not put people that hate each other in a team or group."

"I have two reasons for that my dear boys. One, as I mentioned before and tk Jungkook as well. When you are in the work field, no matter what field it is, you will be put to work alongside other people who you dislike or dislike you. You won't always be surrounded by your friends or people you get along with and so I thought starting now would be best. Help prepare you for the future. Second of all, something in me told me that you guys would become an exceptional team. I don't know what that is but I saw it, no matter what your relationship would be outside the project. I just had a feeling that I'd be creating something unique. I know it's hard to believe. I know at first it was a real pain in the ass for you guys. I know it was mine when my teacher put me to work with the person I hated most and didn't get along with. He said he saw something good happen and it was true. Told us that if we ever felt the same to also make something out of it." She smiles recalling the moments.

"My teacher also knew we didn't get along, but that didn't stop him from pairing us up. We ended up making a great team and with time...we also became great affectionate partners..." she smirks.

"Partners? Did you two end up becoming something more than enemies or friends? If you don't mind me asking?" Hobi asked, feeling intrigued but also listening to her words and taking it to heart. This was one Professor they adored and knew had good intentions.

"We did. We became a very happy couple and we also did become partners with what we were doing. Who would have thought I'd marry the guy I hated the most in the world? Who would have thought I'd have children with him as well? I don't think my teacher intended us to become something that deep, but what I'm trying to say is that sometimes good teams are created. Because even if we had never gotten together as a couple, I know that we would have great partners and friends no matter what." She explains and laughs a little seeing how the others were surprised with what she revealed.

"I have faith you guys will create an amazing performance for us. I have faith that putting you guys together will lead to great paths for each of you. I can see that putting you guys together is helping you all a lot, but only knowing about each other, but also creating peace. So, as I repeat for the third or fourth time now, hang out a little, see how it goes, take it slow. I know he's not the easiest kid. However, you guys aren't so easy either." She jokes a little at the end and they all chuckle.

"We will try Professor Jang. Thank you for believing in us and helping us. It helped with our feelings a little more. We will try, we suppose? We will try our best to tear down that uncomfortable tension wall with Jungkook for our peace and his." Yoongi smiles and puts thumbs up. She laughs.

"I'm glad. Anything else you guys need to vent on and need an older adult view on it?"

"I think we are good for now, but you made us have many questions about yourself Professor! Of course we don't mean to intrude, we know there's always a line." Jin says and she furrowed her eyebrows.

"What do you mean? Are you interested in some of my stuff? It's okay if you are, I don't mind sharing parts of myself to people, it just depends on what you want to know about. I also know you are all good boys and would react maturely to anything I say." She sits down. She wanted to create a good tension with them as well.

"That love story of yours seems intriguing." Jin plain out says and the other scolds him.

"It's okay boys, there's no harm with telling a romance story. Sadly, if you want to hear that story I will have you now that it didn't end up in such a happy tone. Sadly the female lead is the one who made the ending of the story bitter and sad." She frowns.

"Maybe for another day. I guess we were just shocked to know you have kids. Not that we meant it wrong. I'm sure any 38 year old would have kids, but there's always rumors that you didn't have any and enjoyed the single life. With all respect too." Namjoon adds.

"Hmm, single life is nice but being with someone is nicer. Those are just rumors created from people who don't know me well. Yes, I have nobody right now but I have my reasons for that. Also thank you for the compliment! It's good to know I still look thirty and not 41."

"You are 41?!! But you don't look like it. Wow, is this what they call deaging? Jin, I think you met another of your kind!" Hobi says and they all burst out laughing.

"Thank you boys, I don't know how I look young either. I'm not complimenting myself with that , but I got used to everyone being surprised at my age. Wait until I tell you that my kids are in their 20s and not teenagers." She says and they widen their eyes again.

"Wow, amazing. You don't have to deal with their attitudes then." Jimin says and she nods, not having the heart to reveal to them that she doesn't deal with any aspects of them because she doesn't know where they are for her own faults. She could, but after talking to the investigator, things were fresh.

"Anyways, we held too much of your  time. We'd love to keep talking but we realized Jungkook must be waiting for us in the studio by now. Don't want him to think we are ditching him or something." Taehyung replies looking at the time on his phone.

"Ah yes go! That was all I wanted to talk to you all about! Go and don't leave Jungkook hanging!" She says worriedly as the boys get up.

"Oh, what else did you want to talk about Professor? We realized that you only mentioned one topic and then we just all ranted." Jin asks as he gets up, slipping his shoulder onto his bag.

"Oh it was on Jungkook. But, you guys brought it up so I saw there was no longer any need. I promise we talked about everything. If you have more to say or I end up wanting to say more, I will let you guys know!" She smiles and they nod, bowing at her before saying goodbye and urgently heading to the studio.

Jungkook smiles as he sees everything neatly set up. He knew that he would usually get help from the others in setting up, but he didn't mind doing it on his own. He thought it would be a good way to distract his mind from worrying and wondering just what the members and Professor Jang were meeting up for. He sat down on the chair and looked at his phone. He sighed. It had already been 30 minutes since he had arrived, he wondered why they were taking so long.

He put the phone down and grabbed the headphones, putting it on his ears and listening back to the beat. He felt a little relaxed hearing his piano melody at the start along with the bird noises and extra instrumental Yoongi had added to the beginning. He decided then to try some adlibs for fun. He tested the mic and replayed the song and ad libbed in the area he felt would help.  "Eh oh oh...is it true, is it true, you, you, Y ou're so beautiful, that I'm scared.." he sang a little more deeply in the last line.

"Butterfly butterfly.. I steal glances..Your light touches, I forget the reality at once."  He sings and then stops before rewinding the vocals he so far has. He adds some repetition in some parts. Some he decides to redo. As he focuses the boys walk in panting hard as they run to get to the studio faster, they are about to apologize when they see Jungkook softly sing. It was deep and a little raspy, but very quiet, almost like a hum. "This is good enough." Jungkook says as he touches some buttons and removes his headphones. He looks up when he hears subtle noises and looks back to see the members putting their bags to the side.

"Oh I didn't notice when you guys arrived, my bad." he says and bows his head at them and they return the action. "Oh no don't worry! It's our fault for coming so late, sorry if we made you wait for a while." Jin says going over to where Jungkook was seated.

"It's alright. I decided to set up so that we can get started right away. I Uhm, did some adlibs for fun, you guys can erase them though." Jungkook says getting up from the chair and heading to his backpack to get some water. As he does they can't help but see the younger limp a little.

"Actually, we won't need to delete them. Every song needs background vocals or adlibs so let's listen to what you have." Namjoon says sitting where Jungkook was and putting on the headphones to hear what Jungkook had recorded so far. Yoongi, intrigued, gets another pair of headphones that are connected to the computer.

Both looked at each other as they heard the start of Jungkooks adlibs. Jungkook only nervously looks down. "Are you okay Jungkook? I see that you are limping a little." Hobi asks the younger who nods. "Ah yes, I just hit myself very hard on wood when I got up this morning, it was a bit uncomfortable but that would be it." He says looking at Taehyung who looks down knowing that it was a lie.

"How was your today? Any boring classes?" Jin asks Jungkook after seeing how tense and down he looks. He wonders why he's so down.

"Oh, it was okay! Better than yesterday, that's for sure. Only one boring class which was science related." He responds to the oldest.

"Ahh science is interesting but it's also very boring especially if you got a professor like Mr. Woo who doesn't involve anything fun. I hated it when I had him." Jin complaints with a sour expression as he remembers his time in the class.

"Ugh don't remind me." Hobi adds and Jungkook widens his eyes.

"Wait, cuz I have him!" Jungkook replies. Jin widens his eyes and pats the younger shoulder. "You poor soul, be thankful it's only one semester because I tell you."

"He's the worst for sure. He could at least make science more fun. It's just boring lectures, notes and reading homework! The man needs some fun in his life. I bet if he had some physical and mental fun he would make things better." Jungkook says and widens his eyes when he realizes what he has said. He panics but settles down when he sees Jimin, Hobi, Taehyung and Jin laughing very hard. "That's what I told hyung too!" Hobi says and Jungkook grins, trying his best not to laugh but Jin's laugh was funny and was obviously making the others laugh more too.

Namjoon turned back when he was done talking with Yoongi on the adlibs, he was surprised to see the rest laughing and Jungkook grinning very widely, at some point his full smile and teeth were out in display as he shyly looked away from the laughing group.

"He should smile like that more often than crying." Namjoon thought when he saw that wide smile for the first time. He couldn't help but smile back.

"Alright, enough with the laughs. You had your shits and giggles, time for the real thing. Jungkook, I love your ad libs and we will be using them! We think Jimin can do some of your adlibs too and his own in some areas. I think your harmonies would go well, I guess we can make that choice after we do the recordings!" Yoongi turns around complimenting and explaining the situation to the rest of the group who nod.

"Thanks to your ad libs we also have some guide as to how the song should be sung by you all and rapped. I know it's a team decision, so these are only Yoongi's and I's opinions. You all may have different ones and that's totally okay!" Namjoon adds.

"May we hear it? We need to see if we agree or not by first listening to it." Hobi responds to their commentary.

"Yeah, sure! Namjoon hit it!" Yoongi gestures to Namjoon to hit the okay button.

Jungkook stood silently not knowing how the others would react. The others looked at him the moment they heard his vocals. He then shyly looks away listening to his own humbled voice and soft vocals.

Jin closes his eyes and lets the soft vocals fill his ears along with the nice instrumental. "Wow, those were good and it sure does give us a base for how we should vocally sing the song." Jimin reacts after listening to the song.

"If you sound so calming with your voice in these I can't imagine how it will be like with just your regular singing voice. What you did was good, good job Jungkook!" Hoseok says, patting the younger shoulder lightly. Jungkook gives him a shy thank you.

"Alright now that it's done let go and decide the parts." Hoseok continues and they all take out the sheet of lyrics they had kept and printed out from the last time. They discuss who gets what for 10 minutes.

"Are you okay with me getting so many parts? I'm pretty sure when people see us perform this they will want to hear the voices of you guys, not a voice from asshole Jungkook. I mean really, it's not a smart idea." He smirks knowing how people would react but also feeling sad deep down.

"Well that's their own problem, we aren't doing this rk please others. We are doing this for us and our benefit and we will benefit by having you have those parte. Plus the majority of the song is your lyrics. People should be aware that the one who started the song should shine. Yes, we also did half but you gave us the go." Taehyung replies back, knowing what the younger one was trying to do.

"He's right, just go in there and sing. You should go in first and then you get a break, okay? We have to start this." Namjoon says and Jungkook sighs, feeling weird to not have it his way. He picks up the paper again and heads to the studio. He tests the mic and waits for Yoongi to give him the go.

"Okay, go! Follow the metronome." Hoseok speaks and Jungkook nods giving a thumbs up. He breathed in and out. He was feeling nervous to know he would have to sing in front of everyone.

He only ever sang in his room, to Professor hang or his vocal teacher. He tried to imagine as if he was in another place.

He looks at Yoongi giving him the start signal. He closes his eyes and pretends as if he's alone in his room.

A breathy clear and honey voice filled with emotions played throughout the room. The members looked at each other the moment  they heard his voice. They had no words. It was a voice they had never heard before. They stayed still just listening to him sing.

Jungkook slowly opened his eyes, but avoided seeing the window from outside the studio. He kept his eyes on the paper, metronome, and his voice. "Okay..uh let's stop here and let us say what we want you to do." Yoongi says as he still feels shocked by Jungkook's vocals.

"I- wow, we don't even know what to say. I don't for sure. Who knew you had this in you. You surprise more and more each time. Anyways let's try that part again but breathe more and let's make the 'you' part up and then down. Like "you" Namjoon gives feedback to the younger man who blushes at their reaction.

"Play it again." Hobi says and Yoongi touches the button.

Jungkook then follows their suggestions, making the word "you" be the same tone that Namjoon showed.

"It's amazing how he captures exactly what they wanted him to do. Amazing how his voice is." Jin looks at Taehyung who was next to him. Still not knowing how to take in the vocals of the boy in the recording booth.

"Right, he matches it very well. How many more surprises do you have up your sleeve Jeon Jungkook? He sings heavenly, I'm jealous." Jimin replies to Jin who nods.

"Same." Tae adds. He too was shocked.

"He's very good. Super good and I love that his vocals sound so different but you guys are just as talented in your vocals too! I think we may have found the last vocalist in this group." Hobi compliments his friends while also complimenting Jungkook.

"Do you think he can rap too?" Taehyung asks Hobi who shrugs.

"I wouldn't be so surprised if he could. Now all we need to see besides rap is how he dances." Jin adds. They all nod.

The session for Jungkook continues for 40 minutes until they feel more than satisfied with what they have. Jungkook drinks his water as he feels his throat being dry. He then puts the headphones on the mic stand and leaves the room. As he opens the door he hears applause.

"What are all the applause for? I'm not that good of a singer. I am sure you are all better than me at singing. It's nothing much, really." Jungkook is confused. He didn't truly think his voice was that good but sometimes one is blind to their own talents.

"You know, without offense or anything! I think you show off the wrong skills when you could be here showing off your great skills. Your vocals are heavenly, you have really great vocals and know just how to match a pitch. We are clapping because we've never heard a voice like yours, and a good one too. You have talent Jungkook, I hope you one day take note of it." Taehyung stands up as he answers Jungkook's question.

"He's totally right. You surprise us more each time Jeon Jungkook. Maybe instead of showing people this cold mean fuckboy side, you could show people your actual qualities. This was one of them." Hobi adds. Jungkooks looks at him confused.

"I am just showing people my honest side. My bad qualities are my honest sides. Plus, you guys are hyping my voice way too much." He replies, taking another sip of water as he lies.

"Lying doesn't look good on people forever Jungkookie! I'm sure there's an even more honest side to you. Let's see if we will ever get to see it." Jin faces him and Jungkook feels as if he's being unmasked, but shakes his head so they can't unmask him more. He's not ready for it.

"Look, thanks for your compliments. But I truly don't think I am that good. I need to get better at my vocals." He sits down sighing.

"Well, I guess we will have the task to convince you that they are and that you have a lot of talent and skills. Jimin, your turn to head in!" Yoongi says and quickly changes the subject so that Jungkook doesn't get the last word. Jungkook only shakes his head and takes his phone out to look at the time.

Jimin walks in and they start the process all over again.

"You see! Jimin is just as good or even better than me! Now those are unique vocals!" Jungkook fights back with a pout.

"You are just as good. Ooh look at you pout! So cute!" Hobi says with a smile. Jungkook drops it.

"I'm not pouting and I'm not cute!" He fights back feelings weird, but not the bad or strange weird that he's getting compliments by them.

"One day you will stop denying! Anyways, I will go get a snack! I'll be back." Hobi says and leaves the room quickly to go get a snack.

"Have you been feeling okay today Jungkookie?" Jin asks after a couple minutes. He saw the other wonder deeply into space and was starting to get worried.

"Ah? Oh yeah, I am just a little tired. Other than that, I am fine. Also Jungkookie?" The youngest replies.

"Yes, it's your nickname from now on. I usually always give nicknames and it fits you! Plus, I thought that now that we are all good with each other, we could be more friendly than acquaintances. If that's okay with you that is!" Jin saves himself in the end, not wanting to scare the other boy away.

"Oh, sure I suppose? It's fine by me. I will need to be less of an asshole as you guys say, right?" Jungkook teases and Taehyung only laughs a little as he nods

"Are you truly okay though?" Taehyung asks, Jungkook looks down knowing he was hinting at what happened yesterday. As he thought of it, Jungkook realized that since he came to the studio he hasn't thought back on Haewa, Sungchul, or the horrible day he had yesterday. Yes, he was spacing but that usually happens to him when he's had bad attacks and spiraling in one day. They don't include anything negative, but his head just gets empty.  It seemed though, that  being with them and playing around with the music distracted and helped him.

"I am okay, I promise! I just space out often. It's normal for me so you guys don't need to worry! It's funny actually." Jungkook reassures after he himself gives his feelings a quick check. He surprisingly felt safe in the room with them. He also realized that as he spaced out, he wasn't thinking about Sungchul or Haewa. He found it weird and didn't want to analyze these feelings further because even if he didn't think of it, he still was already overwhelmed in general.

"What is?" Taehyung asks

"That just a few weeks ago or a month ago we were all eating each other out. Hated each other and judged each other. Now, it's taken almost a whole 360 degree turn. I mean you guys don't go around calling me an asshole 24/7 or making commentary. You all have also been nice to me. Though granted, I also have been trying to be neutral." He voiced out as Jimin was coming out of the studio booth.

"We mean it when we said we wanted to start better Jungkook. Like we say, we don't agree with certain actions of yours or traits, but we agree that you aren't so bad. We judged you poorly too. We also realized we needed to mature more. Like Professor Jang told us today, even in the work field one will be put to work with people who one probably won't get along with. Plus, it's better this way. You aren't so bad Jungkook. We are sorry that it took working with you to figure it out. We truly want to be on good terms with you and be good acquaintances, possibly friends in the future, if you wish and we never know too. We know you have walls, but I hope one day we can crack one of them even by half. There's more to you than just being a fuck boy or bad boy." Jin voices and Jungkook doesn't know what to say back. He just looks down.

"I also have judged you guys in a way. I know my attitude isn't the best. Like I've said, I'm aware of the reputation I've built myself and I have my reasons, but I agree I can go overboard, and I'm sorry that I've done so with you guys. I can be cold but I also know I need to be mature. I honestly feel better now that we are good with each other. Does it bring some sort of peace? I don't know. Saying all this is weird for me but also a good feeling!" He says and looks down quickly while the others giggle at his shyness.

"It does to us too! Plus, we can't always be enemies with people! We are good for sure okay? Let's be less awkward now too?" Yoongi adds and they all laugh a little as they nod. 

"Okay, well that's settled. How about we continue the vocals and maybe...we go out later? We were planning to go do karaoke, want to come with us? If you all vocally feel good. Namjoon asks Jungkook who looks at the others with a desire for him to say yes.

"Okay." Jungkook says agreeing knowing he needs a distraction.

"Good, well let's have Tae and Jin head in and we can go yeah? We will do raps tomorrow!" Hobi concluded and they all nod. Suddenly, they were all looking forward to a good night.

"So you guys come here whenever you need to distress or have some fun?" Jungkook asks once he sees that they've arrived at the karaoke place that the olders suggested. He first noticed that the place is very big and modern like. With glass windows decorating the entrance of the location. "Yup! Now let's head in and get the party started!" Jimin says excitedly, and puts an arm around Jungkook's shoulder as he pushes him in. The action took Jungkook by surprise, but in a good way. The guys happily chatted as they went into a reserved room. Jungkook widened his eyes in awe and curiosity at the place, he had never been to a karaoke room. His family never went out, and he also never had friends to go with.

"You look like a little child that has seen something they never have before. Make it seem as if you have never come to a karaoke place, Jungkook'ssi." Namjoon says with a chuckle when he sees Jungkook looking around. The younger looks at him in embarrassment as he looks down. Amazed at how easy it is to show off he hasn't. "No way, don't tell me this gesture you have shows that you haven't ever been to a place like this!" Jin baffled questions and the younger one just nodded shyly.

"Really?" Yoongi asks, still in disbelief too.

'I know what these places are, but no, I have never been to one. This is my first time. I just never had the friends or people to go with. And, I don't think these places are for being alone or going alone. It is to have fun with friends or workers. I don't have any so." Jungkook answers nonchalantly to the others as he sits down on the couch. The others look at each other, feeling a little bad and sad to hear such words from him. They couldn't believe he didn't have any, because even bad people have friends that share common interests. Yet, Jungkook just revealed to them that it isn't always like that.

"Well then today should be a very memorable day for you! What we usually do is get into teams, switch the teams around and we then sing solo songs if we feel like it!" Hobi replied, sitting down next to him and looking at the lists of songs and the codes next to them. They didn't want Jungkook to suddenly be off after seeing how much reaction his statement brought to them.

"Yeah, however we hear each other sing good and bad often. However, we don't know your full potential in singing. So, you will have the honor of singing the first solo song and then we will get into teams!" Taehyung points out as he hands one of the microphones to the younger who widens his eyes at the decision.

"What? Why me? I already sang to you guys when we were recording!" he questions as he takes the microphone.

"It is true, but we loved your voice compared to what you think of it! Plus, you never have been to a place, so you should have the honor of starting us off! So, that you can then learn from us! Come on, just one song!!" Jimin replies and the others nod as they look at him with eyes that say "go and do it."

"No." he says plainly.

"Do it! Do it! Do it!" they chant at him and the younger sighs.

"We won't judge so go ahead!'' Taehyung says. Knowing they wouldn't let him say no, Jungkook gets up and looks at the list of songs. After looking at the list he finds the song he wants and sighs once again when he pushes the number. He looks back at the olders who are waiting to see what song he chose and hear more of his singing. Jungkook looks back and quickly frowns as he feels shy. 'Just think like you are in your room again, Jungkook.' he tells himself. He takes a deep breath and waits for the start of the song.

"He really is a good singer. I wonder how well he does in even higher notes."Yoongi says as he feels at peace with Jungkook's vocals. "I know. They are very good. He can pull off any genre too it seems." Taehyung adds. "Go Jungkook!'' Namjoon shouts and that causes Jungkook to open his eyes and look back as he sees the oldest smile at him and singing. He slowly becomes more confident as he sings.

He finishes singing and hears cheers from behind. He shyly smiles as he puts the microphone down. "There, I did it." He sits back down.

"You really started the night off strong! As you should. Now, let's get into teams." Jin says to Jungkook as he smiles at him.

"I will be with Yoongi Hyung! He never wants me on his team, so today, I will show how much of an amazing duo we can be!" Taehyung goes to Yoongi's side with a smile. Yoongi only gives a small sigh. "Oh then Namjoon and I will take Jungkook! We always lose so having someone in our team will make us win." Jin grabs Jungkook's shoulder to show he is with them. Jungkook only slightly chuckles.

"NO FAIR! We wanted to have Jungkook too! Next time he's with us though!" Jimin complains with Hobi agreeing to his side. Jungkook grins at their pouts.

"Anyways, Yoongi and I will go first." Taehyung picks up two microphones and hands one to Yoongi who sighs but looks at the list. "Alright, but I'm choosing the song!" Yoongi warns Taehyung who nods.

"New face." Yoongi says his choice and puts the list down as he presses for the song. "Alright let's get this started!" Taehyung says and before anyone knows it they start singing. The moment Yoongi sings, all of them, including Jungkook start laughing. They laugh even harder when he gets tired and see Taehyung having the time of his life. They wouldn't admit to the younger but they each smiled when they saw him laugh. His full smile on display was something beautiful in their eyes.

Jungkook too felt very happy at that moment as he was laughing. It was like all his worries and thoughts had disappeared for the night. He forgot their past and enjoyed the time.

At some point in the night they all had made each other laugh. Especially Namjoon when he started singing in the trio he had chosen with Jin and Jungkook. Everyone cracked up, Yoongi on the floor and the rest with tears in their eyes but also in love with Jungkook vocals when he tried saving the team. They didn't win, but were close to it.

They ended the night with all of them singing. Jungkook letting free and enjoying the moment with them. He wasn't fully conscious of the happiness he was feeling at that moment but anyone seeing them from a far could see he was having the time of his life. From the outside, it looked like seven great friends having fun with another. A group that looked good together and very close.

A man stood on the piano. He wanted to play badly despite the fact he has promised himself years ago he woukd close and leave this dumb past life of his. But sometimes it's still the driving force he wants to express when he's feeling down or nostalgic. Events like these where people were hand in hand happy with their partners got to him. He wished he had someone too. He tried being with others, tried giving himself a chance in love. But no one was like that human with deep brown eyes and beautiful chestnut hair.

"Just once shouldn't hurt. It's been years, maybe I still have it in me." He sat down and began to play the piano. He tried finding a song that resonated with what he felt today and all those years. Once he got the melody he couldn't help but sing.

He played and let out the lyrics with every emotion he felt. Once he got to the ending he felt hopeless. He felt better but still nostalgic nonetheless.

She stood looking out at the city. She happened to see a family of four playing with each other being happy. She smiles, but can't help but feel sad. "I wish I would have never let that go." She says to herself. I miss them, and I miss you. Despite what you seem to be now, I can't help but still miss you and love you deep down.." she says again and goes to her own small keyboard piano. She touches the notes and tries remembering a song she had sang as a cover for a long time ago with someone special

She smiles as she sings the songs. Remembering how parts of it felt true at some point in her life. Remembering how they both stopped fighting against their feelings for each other after that night that they sang this song.

"I can't stop loving you. I try to fight my feelings for you but after this song and the time we've spent preparing for this...I couldn't...I can't. I don't know if you feel the same way, but if you do...I'd like for us to try. I feel that you and I could be a great team together." He says to the girl in front of him. She smiles. She steps closer to him.

"Cause I can't fight this feeling anymore.  No more, because I too fell for you Jeon Junwoo. I want to try too." She smiles back and the boy feels a huge smile appearing on his face.

"Then let's try, Choi Kyungmi." He says as they get closer. To the point they share their first kiss.

"If life ever lets me. I promise that this time...I'll stay and show you more than just my love." Kyungmi says as she recalls her memory. Hoping that life ends up giving her a second chance at love.
