XXII -- Not Ready
"Is that her?" She asked when we both saw a girl wearing a white sailor uniform with a light blue ribbon.
The girl's long hair was tide in a loose side ponytail resting on her right shoulder. She entered the classroom which is the venue for the recommended students' written entrance examination.
"Yes." I replied. "That's her."
"I still can't understand why you have to go this far but I also know that Todoroki-san is not a person who would do something like this without a reason. I must meet her first and decide."
"Thank you. I'll forever be indebted to you."
She giggled. "You don't have to do that, Todoroki-san."

"It looks like she passed." She stated as we looked at the obstacle course, which is the surprise test prepared for the recommended applicants. She came out of the last obstacle room along with a tall guy with black hair and silver eyes. She was the second one who came out among all the 5 students, and the guy was the third.
That is odd. The last obstacle was one-on-one. She should've left the guy. Why did she bring him along?
"She has the hero instinct to help as well, I see." The girl beside me muttered.
In entrance exams, there are also "help" points which are gained when you saved someone. Aoi must've understood that concept and helped the guy instead of leaving him behind. I never mentioned that to her. Did Father gave her a tip? Or maybe she realized it herself.
There is no way Aoi would help someone so easily.
"Todoroki-san?"
"O-oh, yes?" I looked at the girl beside me. Why are her onyx eyes full of worry?
"Is there something wrong? You're glaring at her."
"I am?"
"Oh..." She immediately understood that I didn't realize what I did. "Well then, shall we go talk to her?"
We walked to the pale-blue haired girl who was now wearing the UA's white and blue sports attire. After the talking to Midnight-sensei, she noticed my presence and her golden eyes met mine. She sauntered towards me.
"Shou-kun, you're here." She stated. Her voice was as emotionless and montone as I remembered.
"Did you pass the exam?"
She nodded. "After the written exam, they gave us a surprise obstacle course, which is very understandable considering that a hero must be prepared at all times."
"Congratulations."
"Thank you." She stated but there's no sign of happiness nor gratitude in those warm-colored eyes. Then those eyes looked at the one beside me. "Is that..?"
"I'm Yaoyorozu Momo, nice to meet you." She bowed in greeting.
"Kiseki Aoi, nice to meet you." Aoi bowed as well. Yaoyorozu smiled.
I took a deep breath.
"She's my girlfriend." Yaoyorozu looked at me in surprise.
Aoi's eyes looked slightly shocked but it turned emotionless again after a fraction of a second. She then opened her mouth.
"You can't."
"Eh?" Yaoyorozu, still in shock, looked at her once again.
"You can't date my fianceé."

"This is a surprise." Recover Girl stated. "Well, considering your Quirk it shouldn't be. That's all the medical tests for now, though I'm sure you're a hundred percent alright physically."
Aoi nodded. We moved her to the former room she accidentally wrecked a week ago. It was completely repaired immediately. While sitting on her bed with a perfect posture, she remained emotionless.
"You'll take mental tests tomorrow and if you'll be alright, we'll ask questions about your memory."
"Isn't it too early for those questions?" I protested. "What if she's still sho--"
"I'm alright. Please proceed the questions just as you planned." Aoi cut me off.
"You're not ready."
"That is not for you to say such things. I know myself, Shou-kun."
"I know you more, Aoi."
"You're mistaken. I know you more." Her words were monotone but I can feel the firmness of her voice.
"Now, I shall leave you children here to quarrel." Then she left.
When the door slid closed, I opened my mouth once again.
"What makes you say that?"
She looked in front of her, not caring about my gaze.
"I know you both pretended to be in love so that I stop my obsession over you."
My anger dissipated.
"Only it didn't end up as pretense. It became real."
I never told her that. She looked at my eyes with out turning her head at me.
"Am I right, Shou-kun?"
My voice left me.
How did she know? There were only three people who knew: Yaoyorozu, me and...
Aoi looked away once again, then her eyes glowed.
The door slid open and a familiar girl entered.
"Finally you're awake."
With night violet wavy hair, and eyes that change color from blue to violet depending on her mood, she looked at Aoi with mocking smirk.
