Starting To Become Undone

"I sponsor a fourth of the children currently studying here. I practically paid for the USJ and have almost financed for a bunch of stuff for most of support track and hero track. I'm constantly trying to bring awareness to quirks that have been called villainous but have more uses to help than to harm and to the way the quirkless are treated! I help newly graduated heroes find agencies that will work best for them. If heroes wish to start their own agencies, I help them and match the amount they put into it. I do thousands of hours of patrol! I help with disaster relief and rebuilding the destroyed areas. I try to help different communities and make sure that it's not just the damage and capturing the villain but of also making sure that the heart is healing. It's not my fault that I'm everyone's go to. I try to do my part with cleaning beaches! I don't even have time to sleep most weeks and am lucky if I even have a chance to eat or use the bathroom!"
He had stopped, eyes flashing in a warning. He made his way to the door and left, needing to cool down for a bit. He allowed himself to switch back to his true form, still out of eyesight of a few teachers trying to find him to apologize. He quickly changed into the track suit, hiding the duffle again.
He had just settled down when Thirteen, Yamada, Midnight, and Aizawa appeared, stopping to catch their breath. Yagi just continued to sit there, clutching his rabbit and rocking back and forth. He shouldn't have said what he did but he was tired and hungry. Why did he react like a toddler throwing a tantrum? He was aware that the teachers were there but he didn't even know how to respond. The staff didn't want him at his best so why would they want him at his weakest? UA was his home also and he had sorely missed it but it was a horrible idea to return. Maybe he should just leave before he was hurt anymore. Nezu was wrong anyways about him ever pairing with a caregiver here. He knew for years that he would never have what most Littles would get. He'd even take a hug at this point!
Aizawa was the first to approach the panicked Little. Yagi didn't look at him or the others. He squatted to be eye level with him. Aizawa saw the tears that were dripping down the other's face.
"Hey, Yagi. What's wrong?" He spoke gently, using a little bit of his Caregiver voice. Yagi responded by crying harder. His small frame was shaking with the power of his silent sobs. Aizawa lifted him up, swaying gently as the others continued to look for All Might.
"I jus' wanna be home!" Yagi managed to get out. He buried his head into the shoulder closest, gripping the black shirt tightly. Aizawa just whispered soothing nothings until Yagi was only hiccuping and his eyes heavy.
"I sorry." Yagi sleepily muttered, starting to suck his thumb. Aizawa just continued rubbing his back and whisper that everything was alright. He fell asleep shortly after that, so exhausted.
Aizawa carried him back, Yamada and Kayama following. Yamada noticed the duffle bag and grabbed it. Kayama raised an eyebrow at him. Yamada whispered at her.
"It looks like it's Yagi's. It even has Yagi's name on it."
"I would argue that he hid the bag for a reason, Yamada. Maybe you should put it back." She responded, curious about what was in the bag.
"I want to know what's in it. What if it's a big secret that could be harmful to Yagi?" Yamada responded, concern in his voice. Aizawa turned back to them, interested.
"You open it and see if it is dangerous. I'll be taking Yagi to the teachers lounge since the others will be in the administration offices for a few hours." Aizawa stated, turning and walking briskly back to the Main Building.
Yamada opened the bag, a huge yellow suit with pinstripes greeting him. He didn't know how to react. Kayama shrugged also.
"I don't think we can tell anyone else about this, Yamada. I think this counts as a big invasion of privacy and could shatter any trust Yagi has in us." She zipped up the bag and started to go put it away where they had found it.
"But this is dangerous! He could be in danger and no one will offer back up! If a villain figures it out, he could be targeted! You saw the way he was happy that things worked out even though the other heroes left him to fend for himself during that massive prison break a couple weeks ago! What if he doesn't come out of the next battle in one piece?" Yamada was going all protective on Yagi in a way he hadn't since he and Aizawa had a Little back during their time at UA.
"He'll be fine. If we break his trust, he'll just run. He's safer here with all of us watching his back. Please," she sent a pleading face towards Present Mic, "don't tell Aizawa. At least until someone pairs with Yagi."
Yamada sighed, nodding as he thought about the best way to support Yagi Toshinori without causing any pain to anyone. As they walked back to the main building, he remembered that there was a test everyone at UA took before graduation that would allow people to see if they were compatible to be someone's care giver.
"What if Nezu allowed us to compare the Care Giver test scores with Yagi's Little score?" He hesitated, unsure if Kayama would be alright with the rather ludicrous idea.
"He'd need to retake it. It's fifty years old and his needs would have changed. What if we asked Recovery Girl?"
"Ask me what, deary?" Recovery Girl inquired, only a few feet away.
"To have Yagi retake the Little Test again?" Yamada's voice cracked in nervousness.
