Little Toshinori remained in little space for the rest of the day. It was a difficult period of ajustements for the little one. Everything felt new and very big. He saw the previous One for All users and could freely talk to them, babbling and they understood what he was saying. Nana Shimura was sitting next to him, smiling as her successor was rekindling One for All into a blazing bond fire once more. He was starting to look younger too, looking more like a very small ten year old. He was the perfect size now for everyone to be able to pick him up and cuddle with him.
"You were able to retain One for All and unlocked the entirety of the quirk. We visited Izuku to explain what has happened. We'll make sure he'll be able to handle the quirk. It's time to relax, eight. Your quirk is coming back to full strength tonight." Nana used a very gentle voice as she watched Yagi try to process everything.
He nodded before holding up his bunny for her to see. She smiled at him as he babbled to her. The other users sat close by, cooing at him. Aizawa thought that Toshinori was playing with imaginary friends and took a picture. He received a call from a blocked number, answering it.
"Hello! I'm calling to inform you that Sir Nighteye is on his way, along with Cathleen and a few others, to check on grandfather. They need to explain his quirk to you also." The young voice stated, not waiting for Aizawa to speak. "No one is a caregiver in the family. We know UA has custody but we need to know that he will be alright. They will arrive after 21:00 (9 pm). They promised to be quick and to drop off Grandpa's card that is hooked up to the agency so that no one needs to worry about finances."
The phone call ended before he could say anything. Yamada asked a question in JSL, knowing that Toshinori didn't know it.
"Hizashi, some people are coming to explain his quirk to us and they claim to be his kids. It's possible that he adopted some kids but I don't know why they weren't there for him." Shouta was tired. Hizashi thought about it for a moment before he felt a timid pull on his pant leg.
Toshinori held up a stuffed dinosaur for him to take. Hizashi had been trying to get Toshinori to understand that he was allowed to play with the toys. That his toys were only for him. He squatted down placing a kiss on the Little's head after kissing the dino first. Toshinori laughed. The sound was so pure. Hitoshi had just finished his homework, coming over to distract Yagi so his parents could set up a nursery and talk privately. The adults made a quick escape into the room they were going to turn into Yagi's.
"They may have felt as if Toshi was more focused on his career or got sick of not being able or allowed to acknowledge him as their father outside of the home?" Hizashi guessed as they were assembling a crib, bookshelves, and setting up the bed. They would go shopping on the weekend to get paint, new toys, and enough supplies to last a couple weeks as they waited for custody to transfer from UA. They wrapped up quickly enough to feed Yagi another small portion of food and a bath. Yagi fell asleep as they were drying him off. Once he was dressed, they tucked him in for the night, setting up the baby monitor and camera.
"He's just so precious!" Hizashi whispered. Shouta nodded as they quietly left the room and closed the door. Hitoshi was waiting in the living room for the door to be knocked. At exactly 21:00, there was a knock on the door. He let the visitors in as his parents emerged from the nursery. There were several famous international heroes along with support techs, lawyers, and business people. About fifteen people of various ages in total that sat or stood in the kitchen.
"Yagi Toshinori adopted a bunch of kids in the 55 years that he has been a hero. He was what we needed and he took care of us until we could take care of ourselves. At the time we all lived in fear that a villain called All for One would show up at any moment. He created and gave quirks to people and was the first Super Villian. 250 years ago, he was considered a demon lord and the title stick with him. He would rip quirks from people. He had a brother who was considered quirkless. He gave his brother a quirk that could be passed down from person to person. The brother had a quirk before that was a stockpiling quirk. He ran from his brother. His brother was enraged and started to hunt his brother down. The brother passed the quirk to the second holder, leaving the first holder weaker and almost quirkless. All for one killed his brother and realized that the quirk was gone. He started to hunt down the users of the brother's quirk, One for All. Every time a person passed the quirk, the embers of One for All were just stronge enough for the past user to fight as the new user ran and trained. The stockpiling quirk gave the users enhanced everything. The quirks of the past users are stored in the quirk but Yagi was unable to unlock the full quirk as he needed to be discreet as was possible. He was born quirkless. Nana Shimura passed it to him. He's unlocked the full quirk as he no longer needs to conceal who he is or anything about himself. He has passed it on but, for some reason, it hasn't weakened since then. The kid he passed it to will be attending UA." Cathleen stated, a look the teachers couldn't identify in her eyes as she studied them.
They went over legal documents and the like for a bit before the visitors left. Aizawa had more respect for Yagi Toshinori. He couldn't believe how sacrificial the hero actually was. The courage and the weight of the world had been placed on a child's shoulder.
