Annabeth's POV

"I dare you to..." Piper tapped her chin in thought. It was January 15, a Friday night, and we were all hanging out at my house (we being Leo, Calypso, Frank, Hazel, Jason, Piper, Will, Nico, Thalia, Reyna, Percy and I), playing truth or dare. It was Piper's turn and she was giving Leo a dare.

"Kiss a girl—on the lips—in this room other than Calypso." Piper had an evil smirk on her face. Calypso just sighed.

"I really don't want to do this. I love you." Leo kissed Calypso on the cheek. She just replied with a sigh and an "I know."

Leo stood up and walked over to Hazel. Hazel's eyes got wide. Piper was trying not to laugh and failing. Her mouth bursted open with laughter. Leo turned around to glare at her. She didn't care at all.

Frank, next to Hazel, seemed to tense up. I guessed he wasn't happy about the fact that another guy, who had also had a crush on Hazel in the past (long story), was about to kiss his girl.

Leo kneeled down in front of her—we were all sitting in a circle on the floor of my room—and leaned in. They both closed their eyes and leaned closer very slowly, only to have a 0.2 second peck on the lips.

Frank sat their extremely awkwardly. Percy was smirking with his fingers in his chin trying not to laugh, I was sitting their shaking my head, Calypso just sat and swirled her finger in the carpet, Jason was attempting to calm Piper down—and failing, Reyna and Thalia were laughing together as Piper had, and Nico and Will were quietly bickering about something.

I swear, those two... there's just something about them. They click. I can sense something there, I just don't know what.

I wonder if...

My thoughts were interrupted when Leo and Hazel pulled away. Hazel and Frank looked at each other before Hazel grabbed his shirt and pulled him in for a kiss. Leo went back to his spot and made out with Calypso. I laughed. "You guys are ridiculous."

"Alright, Leo your turn." Jason announced.

"Fine." He smirked confidently. "Piper. Truth or dare."

Piper scoffed. "You don't scare me. Dare." Piper looked at him like try me.

Leo looked satisfied with her answer. He had a sort of mischievous glint in his eyes. I think I heard him mutter 'this will be good' or something. The others didn't hear it because I sat on Leo's right. "I dare you to do seven minutes in heaven with Jason." Leo smirked even more evilly and cruelly than Piper had.

Piper and Jason both went bright red. Their eyes got so big I thought they'd pop out of their heads. "Um, are we sure this is a good idea?" Jason's voice cracked and Percy laughed.

I joined him. "Yes." I said between giggles. "This is a great idea." The two reluctantly got up, both still looking like tomatoes. I led them to my bathroom, because there wasn't enough room in my closet for them to stand in. "Alright. Have fun." I said as I slowly closed the door, just peeking my eyes over the edge. I would have wiggled my eyebrows, except I didn't possess the skill and that was Leo's thing. If you didn't do it the Leo way, you did it wrong. I started the timer on my phone and sat back down next to Percy.

"This is gonna be so good." Percy whispered to me. We both had suspicions that the two had had eyes on each other for weeks.

"I know. They'll finally admit that they like each other." I whispered back. When I looked up, the others had quizzical looks on their faces, staring at us. Percy just waved them off.

We all talked until my phone buzzed. Their time was up. Everyone immediately fell silent. I stood quietly and beckoned Percy to come with me. He got up and followed me as I tiptoed to the door. Our steps were silent as our socks touched the carpet. We got to the door, and before opening it, I looked back to Percy and we smirked at each other. I silently opened the door, hoping to catch them in the act. What I witnessed next made me want to squeal.

Piper was sitting on the ledge of my sink, her hands entangled in Jason's hair. Jason was gripping piper's waist, him standing between her knees. They were having a full on make out session, and little did they know, I set the timer to ten minutes rather than seven.

I stayed dead silent and turned around to Percy who had his hand clamped over his mouth, so that his laughter couldn't escape. The others were looking from the circle, eyes wide. Leo's mouth was in a wide open grin.

Hazel was fanning herself. She looked like she might pass out because of how PG-13 this was for her. She was a year younger than all of us, but she skipped a grade. However, despite her being the youngest, she was definitely the mom of the friend group.

I turned back around, and fully slammed the door open, causing Jason and Piper to jump apart. "Well. Someone is having fun." I smirked at Piper. She got off the sink.

"Not just one person." Percy grinned at Jason from behind me. I was leaning against the door frame on my shoulder, and Percy was leaning on his hand which was just above my head.

They both turned red yet again. The pair were flustered. Their hair was a mess and they struggled to straighten out their clothes. They turned even redder—which I did not believe humanly possible—when they saw Frank, Hazel, Calypso, Leo, Nico, Will, Reyna, and Thalia watching from the floor.

Jason and Piper just cleared their throats and went back to the circle. As Piper walked past me, she glared, but it wasn't very intimidating due to the fact that she looked like an overripe strawberry.

Percy and I walked back to our spot smirking smugly, Leo right there with us. "So, Piper, Jason, anything to say?"

They just sat there, looking between each other and the floor. Jason suddenly found the corner of my room very interesting. Everyone was silent, waiting for one of them to speak up. Piper finally did.

"Look, Jason. I've only known you for around four months, but I feel like I've known you all my life. I feel like we've been best friends since the first grade. And now, it's become your typical love story; I have feelings for you. God, I think I'm in love." They looked deep into each other's eyes. "And I can't hold it in anymore. I have to get this off my chest. Jason, I like you. I really, really, really, really, like you." She smiled at Jason and laughed softly. He looked stunned, yet happy.

"Piper, since that very first day at lunch when Percy introduced you, I knew. I knew you'd be the one that I would fall in love with. I have to admit, I've liked you for a while. And you have no idea how happy I am to hear that you feel the same. I am in love with you. So, will you, Piper McLean, do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" He held out his hand.

I began to tear up. This was probably one of the most beautiful love confessions that I will ever see. Percy grabbed my hand and squeezed. I squeezed back, grateful to have him at my side. I leaned my head on his shoulder. He leaned his head on mine.

All of this love, here in one place, made my heart swell with joy. I wiped the tears from the water lines of me eyes with my free hand. I looked up at Percy and he looked down at me. I love his eyes. They are my favorite physical trait about him. They are beautiful, and they tell a story, impossible to explain in words. When I look into those sea green irises, I see pain from the past. Then I see strength, for he put up with struggles for so long and he came out on top. But more than anything, I see happiness and love from the present. He makes me smile. Just everything about him. I love him so much. So, so much.

Piper took Jason's hand. "Of course." Then they kissed again, long and passionate. I smiled at my best friend, and her new love. Everyone smiled, even Leo. His smile was even more genuine than mine. He looked truly happy for his friends. And I bet you he was.

"So my plan worked out after all." He said smugly.

Piper's eyes shot to him. "Your what?"

"Heh heh... you see, I knew that you guys liked each other, so... yeah." He rubbed the back of his neck. He looked like he was scared that Piper might beat him to a pulp. Which she probably would. The two were like brother and sister. I thought it was cute. "You're welcome." He added quickly.

Piper just sighed. She really couldn't beat him up. He implemented this whole thing. She had to give him at least the smallest amount of credit. Jason was still smiling.

"Alright. As beautiful as that was, who wants to make cookies?" Reyna asked. Everyone obliged. We all headed down stairs to the kitchen.

I stopped Jason before he could walk out the door of my room. Everyone else was already down stairs. "Look. I know that you probably already know this, but, just a reminder: If you hurt Piper, I will hurt you. You're a good kid, and it would really be a shame if I had to kick your ass. Just saying."

Jason gulped. I scared him, despite the fact that there was the slightest bit of joking in my voice. I internally smirked at that.

"I won't. I promise." He said.

"I know." I just grinned at him. He seemed to ease at this. He went back to his smiling self. I knew that he wouldn't hurt Piper. He had absolutely no reason to, and I would have to kick him in the balls. So, two valid reasons that he should protect her and make her happy. And he would.

"Alright. Now let's go make some cookies."

Guys idk if Jiper was already a thing or not, but let's just pretend that they weren't and that they are now. Okay? Okay.
