It's only been 2 days in and I'm already going to the mall with my friends.... Yay I guess....

Anyway, we reached the mall and started to go clothes shopping. I already have clothes to wear so might just pick these on-

John: What do you guys think of this?

John: Pretty cool right?

Seraphina: Looks alright.

Yu: Yeah I guess.

After he changed I got in and tried out some different clothes.

John: That's actually not bad.

Seraphina: *thumbs up*

Seraphina: *choking noises*

John: *snort* That's a definite 10/10.

Timeskip 1 hour

Seraphina: You see that? It's not so bad.

John: Let's not going any further-

As I walked with them to the back though, I can hear the person ahead of us arguing with the booth man.

Woman's a 4 but looks like she can't accept that.

Booth man: I can't do that tho-

Levani: LISTEN HER-

John: Mam please calm down.

Levani:...MIND YOUR BUSINES-

Oh. She's using her ability. Should I step in?

Grabbing her other arm, I locked her in place so that she couldn't fire her ability at us.

John: Fun fact! Even if you fire your ability, who's to say the security guards won't come in to stop you?

Seeing that she was outnumbered with no way to use her ability on us she calmed down luckily.

Levani:.....'Tch' Just keep my money you faker.

As she stormed off, a security guard walked right to us.

Security guard: Please stay out of trouble you 3.

Booth man: Thank you for calming her down. I'll give you all a free read like you would like.

As Sera held out her hand, the man grabbed it as his eyes glowed.

Booth man: Incredible. You got an 8. It's been a while since I met someone like you. As a prize, I'll hand you this teddy bear.

Hmm. Looks average and decent enough.

Sera: Thanks I guess?

Booth man: What about you 2?

John: No thanks.

Yu: I don't have one.

The booth man looked slightly shocked.

Booth man: Really? You stopped that elite tier so easily though.

Yu:...........

Booth man: Anyway, if you would like your ability tested again, you can come here during the day any day.

TIMESKIP 2 HOURS

Sera: Phew! That was really fun. Did you enjoy your time here Yu?

Yu: It's ok.

John looked a bit disappointed at the lack of emotion in my response but smiled.

John: Hey! How about we stay at my house today? It'll be fun I promise.

Hmm. I'd rather not sleep out on the streets again so why not?

She gave the teddy bear as I careful inserted two fingers into the hole when-

They both looked alarm as we stood there for who knows how long.

I tossed the chip into a storm drain as the water quickly swallowed it.

We all walked in silence to John's house as the night darkened on us.

SOMEWHERE ELSE AFTER 6 HOURS

???: Sir? Target 93 has been idle for 6 hours. Should I record target's location?

???2: Yeah, mark it.

???: It's in the middle of the freeway though.

So you meant to tell me that we lost track of our target?

???: I guess so. There hasn't been traffic there for 3 days I recently checked just now.

???2: Ugh fine. Send some scouts to look for Target 93. That guy at the booth does know what she looks like anyway.
