I had to admit the cake was very good. Reminds me of that baker downtown.

After throwing away the paper plate, I made my way up the stairs to the roof. I opened the door only to be hit with a big gust of wind.

John: Yu?

There's John here and...Seraphina?
He's waving at me to join him. Should I?

I jogged and sat right next to John as he continued to talk with Seraphina.

Seraphina turned from her phone waiting for my answer.

John breathed a sigh of relief and said

John: That's good. I was worried because I heard Crail and Gavin talking about showing a new cripple their place here and I thought they were talking about yo-

Yu: I already met them.

John was dumbfounded but kept his composure.

John: How did it go then?

Seraphina turned away from her phone as she finally took interest in our conversation.

John: Heh. You are quite the helper. Do you know who injured them?

Yu: I did.

I could see John looking a bit shocked and then he said with concern

John: Wait hold up! Are you injured in anyway?

Yu: Gavin got a punch in but it didn't seem to hurt.

John: You're that strong?! Man I wished I had the strength to beat those two idiots. I don't have an ability just like you by the way.

Yu:......

Seraphina then decided to speak up.

Seraphina: Be careful though. People will want to challenge your status now because you don't have an ability.

Yu:.......

*ring*

John: Oh look the bell rang! I gotta go now but let's hang out after school someday. See ya Yu and Seraphina!

We all separated to go to our next class as the noon passed by.
