Yu: 'Good morning...'

I quietly got out of bed and began to prepare my morning routine. Wake up, brush teeth, eat whatever there is oand head out.

It's the same thing every day, every week, every month, and every year.

Except now that I have a cat. But it hardly matters. Time passed by and before I knew I was already out the door

Later

Carmen: 'Interesting.'

On the second floor, Carmen was looking down through the indoor window as Yu continued to punch the punching bag for several minutes without stopping.

Carmen: 'After checking his background and school cameras I can see Yu's life is simply a routine of going to his house, school, mall, gym, and back. Not to mention the cat that keeps following him around as he spends most of his time alone. I should feel sorry for him but he seems to get along with the others. But he's still a mystery. I need to know more.'

Just then Yu abrupty got off the punching and jogged out the gym door. Seeing this Carmen grabbed her coat as she walked down the stairs and to the front door.

Josh: Miss where are you going?

Carmen turned to see the oranged haired kid graabing a water bottle as he chugged it.

Carmen: I'll be back after a while.

Josh: Got it.

Later Yu POV

Yu: 'So many people......so many things.....' *chug*

The water seems more refreshing then ever since I exercised.

I sat down onto a simple wooden table as Tabby laid next to me.

Looking away from the table, I could see so many faces.

Students and friends hanging out

Coworkers getting their coffee. Laughing and hugging each other.

A mascot giving out free candy to children. Their faces showing happiness as they take the free food.

Kids eating together with their parents. Just like a family.

Family.........

Family.........

Family.........

Why?

Why is the world so unfair?

3rd PERSON POV

Yu was knocked out of his stupor as he turned to find Carmen sitting across from him.

Carmen: Why hello Yu. I didn't expect to meet you here. Mind if I sit around?

Yu: Sure I guess.

Carmen breathed a slight sigh of relief that didn't go unnoticed by Yu.

She sat there, waiting for Yu to talk to her.

5 minutes passed and Carmen could feel Yu's eyes staring into her soul.

Carmen: *sweating* So I was thinking. Since we have all day to ourselves why don't we get to know more about each other?

Yu: Um...ok.

Carmen: Great! Let's start off with something simple. What's your name?

Yu: Yu.

Carmen: 'No last name huh.' What's your favorite color?

Yu: I guess........grey?

Carmen: 'Now this is just sad.'

Later

Carmen attempted to do some small talk but each attempt ended with a simple sentence or just a few words.

Carmen: Don't you have friends?

Yu: I do but I haven't seen both of them in a while. One of them keeps hiding away for some reason.

Carmen: 'So he does have friends.' Why don't you text them?

Yu: I do b-

*thud*

Carmen fell off her chair and onto the concrete ground. She tried to get up only to feel what seemed like cold water being poured on her head.

Melody: *snort* Look at her. Standing on all 4 legs like a dog.

Her boyfriend snickered as they insulted Carmen who continued to stand there as Yu slowly got up only for Melody to square him up.

Melody: Who are you?

Yu:..............

The Agwin student immediately got angry as she flared her aura.

Melody: The silent tyle heh? You should know that we're from Agwin High School. If you had half a brain, you'd know not to mess with us!'

Yu:..........

Melody: 'What the- he's not scared? This little shit!'

Carmen: 'This doesn't look good. I didn't bother to account for my safety.'

Carmen: Yu just go. Don't drag yourself into thi-

Rein: What's going on here?

Out of nowhere, Rein came along in her full glory with Gou by her side. She quickly marched to Melody as she angrily geabbed her shoulder.

Rein: How many times did I tell you not to make a ruckus out of campus?! We've been getting numerous complaints on your behavior!

Melody: Pfftttt. I was just minding my own business with my boyfriend when this bitch decided to get in my way so I thought to teach her a lesson or two.

Rein was about to rebuke Melody even further when she felt a tap on her shoulder

Rein: WHAT?!

Gou: T-To your left.

Rein turned to the left only to stiffen at the sight of Yu. As of the moment, anyone around could swear that they felt genuine fear when they looked into his cold and uncaring eyes.

Rein: *scared* 'Fuck. Of all the places I had to meet him again here.'

Rein: W-We're so sorry for bothering you. We'll be taking our lead now.

Rein and Gou instantly dragged the couple away as they struggled in their grasp.

Meanwhile, Yu offered a towel which Carmen took as she dried off her hair.

Carmen: Thanks.

Carmen: 'Agwin school is the 2nd most powerful school in this region, yet their Jack and Queen were actually intimidated by Yu.'

Carmen threw the paper towel away as she watches Yu take his phone out.

Carmen: 'Who are you really?'

Yu: Huh. My friend wants me to meet up with him now.

Carmen: You can go ahead then.

Yu: The location is in the middle of turf wars. 'John's a cripple so he can't possibly be there for any reason unless....'

Yu was about to leave when Carmen grabbed him from behind.

Carmen: Wait a minute, don't you think it's a bit suspicious? The circumstances don't add up.

Yu:...............'He's a friend regardless.'

Carmen:.........Fine.

John: -I'll dethrone you.

Carmen: I thought you said your friend was a cripple.

Over in turf wars, Carmen and Yu arrived only to find John standing above Arlo's body as he coughed.

Yu:....I didn't know.

*SNAP*

Carmen stepped onto a branch alerting John as he turned around with his claws.

John: Why are you here?
