Kasumi walked around. Looking at her new surroundings, the village that was near the house she had escaped was small but busy. Full of different people. She looked around and sighed.. She was hungry.. And cold.. But she didn't know what to do. She then saw a boy with blonde hair. She looked at him curiously..
"E-excuse me?" She asked, but he was being to loud to even notice, but a man did. A old man. With red markings painted on his face.
"Naruto, shut up. Look" the old man said loudly pointing to Kasumi who flinched and hid behind the loud boy. Sakura smiled
"Hello, who are you?"
"K-Kasumi..."
"Kasumi?" Jiraiya's asked, then man then went wide eyed.. He grinned and crouched down to the girl
"Hello Kasumi-chan. What did you come up to us for honey?" Jiraiya asked smiling kindly, Naruto and Sakura stared at the old man shocked,
"ero-sennin?!" Naruto shouted, jiraiya then picked up the girl
"Would you like something to eat?" Jiriaya asked, noticing how thin the little girl was. Sakura smiled
"How old are you Kasumi?" Kasumi held up 6 fingers making Sakura smile
"Your 6? You must be a really brave girl to come up to some strangers" sakura said smiling, Naruto looked at Kasumi
"She kinda looks like Kakashi-Sensei" Naruto said mainly to himself. Sakura nodded
"She does" jiriaya nodded
"She may even be his daughter" jiraiya said sighing, turning around and carrying Kasumi to a restaurant.
"Daughter?!" Both genin shouted, jiriaya nodded
"Yes, his daughter" jiraiya said, the four then sat at a table, Kasumi next to jiraiya and Naruto next to Sakura
"What do you mean Kakashi-sensei's kid?" Sakura asked, jiraiya sighed
"I guess no one had told you. 6 years ago Kakashi had a daughter. While on a mission his girlfriend gave birth.. Lily Shoji, was a strong woman, she was also one of my private students. She passed out after she gave birth and most think that her daughter was taken between when she passed out and woke up. Kakashi hasn't stopped looking for anything to find his daughter. I'm starting to think that Kasumi here is his daughter, just look at the resemblance" jiraiya explained. Sakura gasped
"So Sensei was a father all this time?! And we had no idea?!" Sakura shouts, jiraiya nods
"Yes. But I'm afraid he may have stopped.."
"Mister.. Who Kakashi?" Kasumi asked suddenly, jiaiya and the two genin looked down at the girl sadly..
"So she never got to meet her real parents?" Jiriaya shook his head
"Kakashi hasn't met her either" jiraiya said quietly
"So then he's been searching for someone he doesn't even know?! That's stupid!"
"Naruto shut up! It's not stupid!" Sakura shouts.
"Mister?" Kasumi asked, jiraiya smiled
"Kakashi is a friend of ours, I'm sure he'll like you Kasumi" Kasumi smiled brightly. It was adorable making Sakura aww.
"She's looks so innocent!"
"She probably is" jiraiya whsipered
"Your ramen" the waiter said sighing, jiraiya nodded as they began eating their ramen. Kasumi waiting.
"What's wring Kasumi-chan? Why aren't you eating?" Naruto asked, slurping up a noodle, Kasumi looked down..
"N-nothing..... Mistress tells me off when I don't eat after everyone is finished.." Kasumi whispered, jiraiya sighed 'looks like she was with an abusive family.. The poor girl..' Jiraiya thought sighing..
"You can eat Kasumi-chan, don't worry we won't hurt you, promise" Sakura assures the little girl... Kasumi nods quietly and begins to eat. Jiraiya sighs
"Ero-sennin if Kakashi-Sensei is Kasumi-chains dad will we take her back to the leaf with us?" Naruto asks
"Please jiraiya-same? Kasumi can't go back to where ever she was!" Sakura said. Jiriaya looked to the little girl. It was either leave the girl here to never know about her family.. Or take her back to the leaf where she could be reunited with her father who's been searching for her for 6 years straight, even the hokage couldn't stop the man from searching for his daughter. Jiriaya smiles,, he couldn't bare to see Kasumi go back. He had to give Kasumi back to her dad before he did give up. Jiriaya nodded
"We'll take her back. Kasumi-chan?"
"Yes?" Kasumi asked, her bowl of ramen already fast, jiriaya smiled
"How would you like to come and meet our friend Kakashi?"
"Home?" Kasumi asked, jiriaya nodded
"That's rights, new home just for you" Kasumi blinked a few times and gave the sannin a bright smile, it reminded the man of his student.. Jiraiya smiled back as the group of four the left the restaurant, Kasumi on naruto's shoulders making the girl smile and giggle. It was adorable. The three were sure of three things, they were doing the right thing, possibly reuniting Kakashi with his daughter and that they had made a new friend.
