She took a deep breath as she intently gazed at the unfamiliar building inviting her to step inside as if something that came naturally, but at the same time leaving her with no memories of it. A hand came to rest on her arm, making her head whip to her side before witnessing a warm smile on Jungkook's face. She smiled back softly upon realising that he had probably noticed her hesitance which, to be honest, she did not want him to regard.

"You sure you're not gonna need me in there? You know, to help you out or something?" He softly questioned as if he read her mind. She pressed her lips together before shaking her head, looking back at the structure that was supposedly her workplace.

"No, I'm pretty sure I'll try to look for your help," she chuckled a little, turning back towards him. "And that's why I need to do this alone." Youra shrugged, watching him as he gave her a stiff nod and secretly hoped she spoke her mind in the noblest way possible.

Her nervous yet poised form walked into the foyer, eyes scanning for the reception after removing her sunglasses and carefully revealing her profile when she noticed the lack of company around her. A gasp left the person who sat behind the counter, making her widen her eyes and freeze along with it.

"My manager...? Please?" Youra softly voiced, leaning towards the marble and the receptionist blinked twice or thrice, making sure of the sight in front of her.

"Miss Song, is it really you? They've been searching for you for the past so many days-" She paused when Youra raised her eyebrows.

"I'll call your manager downstairs." The lady behind the counter whispered before grabbing the handle of the telephone with shaky hands, making the fact evident that the famous actress' appearance had come across as a shocking sight, and her actions were sufficient enough to let Youra know that she had probably been a big deal and the talk of the place for a week or so.

"Yes ma'am," The receptionist mumbled over the phone. Soon Youra could hear the doors of the elevator nearby open and loud footsteps of a lady visibly striding towards her echoed. Her form was embraced in a tight hug in a few seconds, making her jerk a little upon the sudden act of affection until she heard a deep sigh of relief escape the lips of the woman who had just arrived in the hall.

It was only when she stopped squeezing her form that she remarked how the woman who had pulled her in her embrace was indeed very gorgeous and put together, her straight hair falling down smoothly on her shoulders and her bright red lips turned down in distress. Her sleek, keen eyes now gawked at her profile that was, in her opinion, completely opposed to that of her own manager's.

"Oh my God, Youra!" She exclaimed, parting from her and carefully examining her face with a worried frown. "I have been trying to contact you non-stop this whole time. Do you have any idea how worried I was?" Her manager frowned before rubbing Youra's hands in order to assure herself. "I'm so happy to see you. God only knows how scared I was, gosh. The whole company has been a mess for the past few days, where even..." She shook her head while Youra just stared at her intently, her face void of any expressions.

"...Mi-sun?" Her fragile voice let out, recalling how the lawyer back at home had made her aware of the lady who practically managed all of Youra's whereabouts, from her work schedules to her party schedules, everything was overlooked by the woman who now stood in front of her with a troubled appearance.

"Yeah, of course it's me. Come on in," Mi-sun replied, her tone a little more hushed than before, realising that they were probably being watched by the receptionist this whole time. "No one needs to know. Keep this highly confidential for now." The manager instructed the staff member with stern eyes before grabbing Youra's arm and leading the way to their destination.

"We're in my office 'cause the police has been all over our place, trying to find some sort of evidence in your cabin so as to where you went," Mi-sun tiredly said, rubbing her eyes as she passed Youra a glass of water while sitting next to her on the sofa in her office. "Why didn't you at least tell me that you're alive?! Where have you been?" Her voice was high-pitched, clearly expressing her frustration after seeing the girl she'd been stressed over.

Youra gulped her water down before running her free hand through her locks, leaning back on the sofa a little. "I just wanted to stay concealed for a while. Everything that's happened has taken a toll on me if you know what I mean," she paused and the other immediately knew the reference was to her mother's death. "And... it would be preferable if you don't let the officers or policemen know about my appearance yet. I'd rather let them know myself than have different rumours about my sudden return go around."

"Oh, Youra!" Mi-sun exclaimed before grabbing her palm and securing it between hers. "I completely understand. And how could you even think I'd let the word go around without your will? You know you can trust me, right?" Her big eyes urged Youra to speak out something that would assure her that the answer to her question is positive, while Youra actually did not know how to respond to her apparent promises of honesty and trust.

"Yeah, of course." She nodded nevertheless, sounding way more convincing, even to herself than she was, for she hardly remembered what Mi-sun was like a person as her appearance alone was trouble to recall. "I trust you." She added and a victorious smile came over her manager's features before she stood up, walking over to her desk piled up with paperwork but at the same time, neatly organised just like the owner of the room.

"They stopped the shooting. The directors were insistent about finding you, and they could not handle the budget if they had to reshoot the whole thing again. So they've stopped the movie midway. I was pretty surprised after seeing how determined they were, but you've got all of them wrapped around your little finger after all," her silvery voice echoed the room as she carried a file in her hands. "Take a look."

"So you mean... I was shooting a movie... until a week ago?" Youra mumbled after her eyes glanced at the dates on the papers that she held in her hands now, eyebrows furrowing a little. At her innocent question, Mi-sun scoffed a little before chuckling.

"Yes, Youra. Why are you pretending to be so oblivious?" Mi-sun shrugged with raised eyebrows before casually walking away. "Did you lose your memory while you were away or something?" She joked and Youra pursed her lips, going back to look at the papers.

Yes.

But no one needed to know that, and as far as the actress was concerned, she was doing a pretty good job for one.

"This was... no, this is your biggest project, Youra. I was so happy about it, but it's unfortunate what the turn of events has resulted in. I just hope everything goes back to normal soon." She shook her head before taking off her coat and placing it over the head of the chair.

"Besides, we all have been so worried about you. I'm pretty sure your boyfriend had it the hardest, specially after being stuck in Paris while all of this unfolded. I'm sure he must've been so relieved when you called him?"

"Jeon Jungkook!" Her voice, louder than it had ever been, seemed to resonate through the walls as her heels stomped over to where the lawyer had been sitting in the living room with glasses resting on his nose, indicating how he'd been working.

"When did you think it would be necessary to tell me that I have a boyfriend," Youra poked her inner cheek with her tongue before folding her arms and standing tall in front of him.

Her furrowed eyebrows and enraged eyes bore holes into Jungkook's unbothered form, making him exhale loudly and finally look up at her face with lazy eyes. Removing his glasses, he tiredly cracked the bones of his neck before her next words left her lips. "And that man, being... Kim Taehyung?"

"Well, isn't it obvious?" He spoke up before standing straight in front of her, maintaining eye contact with her narrowed ones even though she turned out smaller to him as he was standing now. Upon noticing her evident annoyance and indignant expression, he tilted his head a little, trying to hide the little smile that had started to appear on his face.

"I didn't really find that part necessary... Don't you think the same?"
