"I guess I'll see you around?" I stood right by the front door to her home, giving her a grin. 

If I were to be honest I didn't want to leave, but I had things to tend to and it wouldn't be right for me to stay longer.

"Yup." She replies, returning a soft smile, her hair still not thoroughly brushed out, yet still looked soft while her arms remained crossed over her chest covered by her night robe as she lazily leaned against the wall. 

I have the sudden urge to kiss her, and I don't think about it too much before I'm taking a step forward and doing so. 

I let my lips linger for a moment before drawing back and giving another smile. 

"See you Friday then," I finally say and turn the knob of the door for it to open, stepping out into the fresh morning. 

The sky is blue. 

"See you," she replies and watches as I get to my car parked along the street, waving me off before I drive away. 

I find myself humming my favourite tune

A week passes by a lot slower than I would have wanted it to, my hours at the studio ticking by painfully until the clock finally ticks and I find myself rushing to my favourite spot. 

My blanket is placed on the grass, notebook on the ground, and two starbucks drinks set in front of me. I draw out my phone and send a text to the person I had been anticipating for all week long.

Jungkook: I'm here [not delivered] 7:47 pm 

Jungkook: are you on your way? [not delivered] 8:10pm

A reply never comes

I wait. 

An hour

Then two

It rolls onto three as I'm left by myself, in the dark, two cold coffees and a bruised heart. And I can't help but wonder what I had done wrong, and what I should have done right. 

Maybe it was me, maybe it was her. Nonetheless I'm here once again, white now streaking my skies once blue. 

White skies

Bright nights 

A city full of stars

And blooming roses with fluttering hearts

It's when the sky is blue that everything falls apart
