Hyori POV

The night is bright. Peaceful, soothing. Calm. 

I feel at peace, like this is where I’m meant to be, the dark sky with scattered specs looming over me. 

I feel happy, content. Like this is all that my life contains of, looking up at the starry night with a comfortable shoulder to lean on, and a strong arm to hold me. 

It felt like all I had ever asked for had come true, to find such comfort in another as we watch the same sky mature anew. 

I take a breath in, then out, cuddling closer into his arm. The warmth radiates into me, just like his love, just like a blanket over my heart. 

I feel fluttery, dazed, in a good way as my hair is brushed through and I'm left turning my gaze to look up into the eyes I adore. 

"I love you," my voice breaks into the crisp air, a smile tugging at my lips as his break out into one too. He tugs me closer and I feel his lips on my forehead, placing a delicate kiss and I let my eyes flutter shut, soaking in the moment. 

A reply never comes, but I don't mind it at that moment. Rather I let my eyes open and catch the curious gaze eyeing us from afar.
