Himawari's pov.

I walk into the Hokage's office slowly with Kakashi right behind me. What is going to happen? I left because I was scared. I just don't want to be a, as my cousin said, a caged bird.

"Lord Hokage I found this girl on our mission, Her name is Himawari Hyuuga." Kakashi informed to the old man.

He had a surprised look on his wrinkly face. Taking off his Hokage hat he observed me before smiling.

"Your family will be glad to see you." He says with his smile. What?

"Your just accepting me back? Just like that?" I ask with surprise evident on my face.

"Of course after all was planning on coming back. At least that's what Kakashi told me." The old man replied.

"B-but how? How can you trust me? I left... I left the village..." I trail off frantic for an answer or an explanation with few tears in my eyes.

"Because your a Leaf nin. One of us, and I doubt that you would hurt us." Kakashi answers for him.

I stand there for a little while wiping the tears out of my pale eyes.

"S-so what is going to happen now?" I question.

"Well we're going to have to consult your family, and figure out your skill level. Considering Kakashi's report you've been a ninja, so I think the best way to figure that out is to put you in the chunin exams." Lord Gramps informs.

"The chunin exams!" I exclaim with excitement before realizing something. I don't have a team, and apparently Kakashi realized this too.

"The Chunin exams, but she'd be by herself." Kakashi remarked.

"Well I was thinking of putting her onto one of the rookie teams. Probably yours seeing as you've gotten to know her better, so from now on Hima you call Kakashi your Sensei." Lord Hokage announced.

"Lord Hokage-" I started before getting interrupted.

"No need for formalities." He says raising his hand. "Most kids your age like to call me gramps."

"Oh... Thanks gramps." I say unsure.

"Kakashi is that okay with you?" Gramps asked him.

"It's fine with me." Kakashi replied with his normal bored expression.
"Thank you Kakashi." I thanked bowing slightly.

"Sensei." He said.

"Sensei? Oh right thank you Kakashi-sensei." I restated.

"Well I may have been trained, but I'm not a official ninja. Also uhh... Don't you have something to ask me?" I question with fear of having to explain myself of leaving.

"Of course that's true, but I'm sure we can get you a headband if that's what you want after you take the test. I guess we do have to ask some questions, but I'm sure your family can handle that." Gramps opined.

"So what do I have to do?" I inquired wanting to get it done as soon as possible.

"Three clones." Kakashi-sensei responded.

"Oh okay." I put my hand into a hand sign and do the clone jutsu I know best. "Water clone jutsu!" I yell doing three perfect water clones.

It seems to surprise the Hokage and Kakashi. I'm sure they meant just the standard clone Jutsu not a higher level Jutsu from a different village. Then again it might have surprised them because I found one of my chakra natures, Water.

"Did I do well?" I ask timidly.

"You did very well, but you know your chakra nature?" Gramps interrogated.

"Yes, I had been around Zabuza-sensei for a long time, and he taught me some of his water Jutsu and how to use a sword. Hehe." I start to laugh a little shyly.

"I think you'll do fine." Gramps bantered throwing a blue headband at me.

Where should I tie it? The forehead? No. The arm? Maybe. Leg? Definitely not. The neck? I would but I have my scarf.

"Uhh do you mind if I have a white headband I going for a certain look." I request thinking back on how Haku said I would be called the White Shingami.

"Certainly." Gramps answers smiling throwing a white one instead. I throw the blue one back quickly tying the white one on my arm.

"What about my family's?" I question.

I'm looking forward to see Hinata, Hanabi, Neji, Father, but I'm also scared of what will happen. I refuse to get the curse Mark of our clan.

"You don't have to worry we will make sure that your safe." Kakashi-sensei reassure me aware of my predicament.

"Thanks so when will I meet them?" I ask my voice laced with an impatient tone.

"I think you could surprise them. Well of course I will inform your father, but I think its in your best interest to talk to Hinata and Neji on your own time." Gramps suggests.

"I think your right, but umm.... I don't exactly know where to... Uhh... Live." I frantically start think of possibilities.

Is my room still there? If not where would I sleep. Would I even be aloud to stay there! Judging from the amused look on their faces I could tell they thought my reaction was hilarious.

"You can stay in an apartment for a little while. Here's the keys and address." Gramps throws a pair of keys at me. The keys having the address on them.

"Thanks. See ya." I yell before jumping out the window to explore.

I see a lot of people laughing and children running and playing which is rare. In all the other places I visit it usually isn't so... Happy. Then I hear a some kids yelling.

"Hey let him go!" I hear Naruto shout. "Right now!"

I run over there seeing Sand Ninja holding this kid. Sand nin really are children aren't they? I inwardly sigh.

"We've got a couple of minutes before he gets here, so let's play with him a little bit." The guy in the black suit says ignoring Naruto.

The blonde girl next to him just rolls her eyes in annoyance, but does nothing to stop her teammate.

"Lemme go! Lemme go you big jerk!" The child shouts.

I quickly run down in front of him to do something. These sand nin have absolutely no class what so ever.

"Let the kid go! You Sand ninja have no class." I yell voicing my opinion.

"Heh, you're kind of feisty, but not for much longer!" The sand nin ignores me tightening his grip on the kid.

Just when the guy was about to punch him I was about to stop him, but Sasuke hit his hand with a pebble. The kid starts to fall so I quickly catch him.

"You okay?" I ask with a little smile.

"O-of course. I'm a ninja in training so I'm fine." The kid says with a red tinge to his face. Oh... His face... It's red.

"Of course." I say dropping him to his feet. "I'm Himawari what's your name?"

"Konohamaru and I'm going to defeat my grandfather and become Holage." Konohamaru shouts proudly. So this is Gramps grandson huh?

"You mind if I call ya... Kono-kun. K?" I ask knowing he wouldn't refuse.

"S-sure as long as I can call you Hima-Chan." He says with the red tinge.

"Of course." I reply winking.

Apparently Konohamaru and I have been talking for a while because Sasuke appeared and Sakura is doing her Fangirl thing.

"He so cool!" Sakura screeched.

"How come you're not cool like that?" Kono-kun asks Naruto.

"Gah, what day mean I coulda taken him in two seconds if I wanted to!" Naruto yells frantically.

"Cmon then punk bring you're ass down here. You're the kind of pesky brat I hate the most." The suit guy taunts.

Saying that the suit guy reaches to this thing on the back. I use my Byakugan to see what it is. A puppet. I hate puppet users. Their annoying.

"All attitude. No skill whatsoever." The suit guy continues unwrapping his puppet.

"What?" The sand girl cries. "You're not seriously going to use crow for this are you?"

"Kankuro... Back off." A low voice instructs.

I look towards it to see a upside down red headed cutey. Except that chakra! It's so evil... 'One Tail' The voice says again. Why would somebody like him be here? His beautiful eyes look tired. That kanji says love? Why would it be there? No eyebrows either, yet he mangages to look so hot. NO! Pay attention.

"Your hot." I exclaim before quickly slapping my hand over my mouth.
